This is in no way mandatory, but I advise each player to keep an journal. It helpsthem keep track of things, and it kinda helps me too when I have something to cross-reference my notes with. Plus, the more I know about what you're planning and what you're interested in, the more I know where to focus my efforts. Here's a template you can use.

To-do
Find A Way Back Home (Main): Everyone here's trapped in another Vitquest. If the quest is cleared, we should all be able to go home.
Find the Other Spheres (Main): A mysterious fountain had slots for all the spheres to be placed in. I get the feeling this is related to finding a way home.
Repair the Spheres (Main): The spheres are all broken. We have to find the pieces and put them back together so we can activate the fountain.
Investigate Aeva (Sidequest): Aeva had a weird glow. She was probably corrupted by something.
Investigate Temple of Space (Sidequest): There was a strange temple in Castle Town surrounded by Laguz. Might be worth investigating.
Inactive/Completed Quests
Solve Pixie Puzzles (Main) COMPLETE
Investigate Horatio (Sidequest): Where there's Horatio, there's trouble. And there's Horatio.
Important/Interesting NPCs
Inari (Party): His real name's Ansei. Scared of being kidnapped.
Alice (Home): She knows we're not actually in Sefa Forest, but seems content playing in mud.
Aeva (Sefa Forest): Corrupted.

Bowser isn't welcomed in Old Donk city without supervision.
Bowser isn't welcome into a town guarded by Toads or Generic Guard Doods.
Bowser is being segregated by what he can assume is the mainstream.
Oh and there's a church with different religions dedicated to Star Spirits (Mario), 3 goddesses (Hyjule), Grima, Naga, Solego maybe look into potential of joining a religion.
John Cena is generally accepted by most.
