Chapter Two:Journey to Iliad
Everyone but Jeremy
It's been hours since your departure. After some fun and whimsy, most of you are relaxing a bit while Trailmon whistles, moving further from Dawn Island and closer to Iliad with every second. It's sunset now as you all move closer to your destination.
Marisol sits in another car with Wormmon curled up against her. They're both asleep. Some of your partners are napping as well. All is well.
Well, that is, until...
RUMMMMMMMBLEEEEEEEEE!
Trailmon shakes violently, waking up everyone who was resting. You're all at alert as Trailmon settles, though it isn't over. At all.
You all hear a buzzing sound and the splash of water, as well as some wings flapping.
Coronamon is the first one to take action. He dashes to open a window and gazes out, his expression souring as he spots the problem. "Everyone! We're under attack!"
Monodramon throws his hands in the air and starts to panick. "Oh noooo! Not an attack!!! What do we do! WHAT DO WE DO!!!!" He grabs Nate and starts shaking him a bit.
Salamon runs towards a window and watches the water. "We have enemies in the water and the air! We need a plan, quickly!"
"Butbutbutbut, whyyyyyy! Cruel digital world, why!" Kokuwamon is also panicking a bit, though not nearly as animatedly as Monodramon.
Meanwhile, Marisol looks shaken and disoriented in the other car alone with her partner.
Gabumon is at the ready and fires off his attack with a shout, aiming for the unseen enemy within the waves. "Blue Blaster!" A stream of blue flames erupt out of his mouth and hit the water, doing nothing more than making steam spout up.
"Gabumon! Not the best idea!" Coronamon shouts.
Trailmon is still charging full steam ahead while the attack remains ongoing. But this is chaos. No one knows exactly what to do...
Looks like before you can save the world, you have to save yourselves.

Charlie wakes up, as it seems he slept during everything. He looks at Aaron with his eyes wide open.
"What do you mean we're under attack? Am I supposed to have a weapon?
Trailmon is a train right? Can he fumigates the flying enemies?"

Aiden checks the windows, trying to get a glance of the assailants. He also checks if the digivice is reacting to the new arrivals.

Most of you decide to check out your assailants. It's difficult to make out the ones in the water, but your digivices collectively do the work for you.
Within the water is...
Gizamon, an aquatic virus rookie level digimon.
The several Gizamon dash in and out of the waves along side Trailmon, one of two leaping out of the water and ramming against the side of the car.
Within the air is smaller, round blue/black digimon with bat wings.
Demidevimon, a dark virus rookie level digimon. Watch out for it's gruesome demi-dart if you're squeimish around needles!
The Demidevimon seem to be throwing giant needles at the car, shaking it and laughing in collective high-pitches.
The real issue is coming from higher up in the air as the loud buzzing can be heard. Your digivices beep again at the large insectoid creature that resembles a a bee of some sort.
Flymon, an insectplant virus champion level digimon. It's Deadly Sting is a thing to watch out for!
"Deadly Sting!" Flymon's purple stinger shoots off and slams into the side of the car, exploding and cause the car to shake violently. It's definitely a huge problem.
"I don't think Trailmon could do much to them. Even if he made a lot of smoke they could still attack from a distance." Salamon tells Charlie.
"I think we can get up there from in-between cars!" Gabumon shouts. He dashes out towards the door and fires a blue blaster at some Demidevimon that meet him outside.
Kokuwamon gulps and shakes his head. He goes towards the window and flutters his wings a bit. "I-I-I should probably h-help!"
Coronamon gulps. He cups his hands and shouts, "Holy Shoot!" The shining blast fires and hits a Demidevimon , knocking it back and into the water. Then a Gizamon leaps out of the water and growls, clawing onto the the side of the car and trying to get in the window. One or two other Gizamon try the same thing. Salamon opens her moutha and blasts a sound wave at one of them. "Puppy Howling!"
Monodramon is still panicking a bit.
Meanwhile Marisol seems to have calmed down and Wormmon is doing what he can attacking some enemies that have made it on-board. It definitely seems like they could use some assistance though.

Nate opens the window and throws a cheeseburger at one of the Gizamon. "Hey, Monodramon, we're gonna have to do more than just stand around if we're gonna get out of here!"

"How far can you shoot lightning?" Aiden asks Kokuwamon.
He checks for an exit that could give them access to the the rail or the outside of the train car.
"Maybe we can electrify the outside of the carriage. Lets fry some fish...furry fish"

Just14 VitBunny Malefio Tight Dan VitsheepAaron and Gabumon rush outside and climb the ladder on the side of the car, narrowly avoiding a Gizamon that jumps onbaord beneath them. Once they get to the top Aaron gets off-balanced by the high speed so Gabumon grabs him to keep him steady. "I've got you Aaron!" Gabumon grips Aaron's shirt with his right hand and aims at Flymon letting out his signature attack. "Blue Blaster!" Monodramon pulls it together a bit. "Y-yeah, Nate! Let's fight some Gizamon!" As he says that two Gizamon break through the windows and hiss at you. Monodramon hops into action and punches at one. "Beat Knuckle!" Kokuwamon buzzzzzzzzzzes for a second. "Not too far, but far e-enough, I-I-I guess...." As the other Gizamon charges at Monodramon with it's spine first and foremost, "Spiral Saw!" Monodramon is caught off guard since he's dealing with the other one but Kokuwamon hits it with electricity from behind, causing the Gizamon to fall flat. "Mini Electro Shocker!" "Hm. Not from here I'm afraid... I might be able to hit a flying enemy though. " Salamon takes point and aims at the flying digimon. "Puppy howling!" A sound wave emits from Salamon's open mouth and blasts into three of the Demidevimon, knocking them back and into the water. Two more take their place and throw comically large needles at Salamon. "Demi-dart!" Salamon dodges one, but the other hits her, knocking her back in a cry of pain. Still, she gets up and glares as the Demidevimon also enter the car. Coronamon grimaces as Evelina is in a state of shock. He dodges through the chaos of the car and runs towards Marisol and Wormmon's car. As soon as he gets there, he fires off an attack and it hits one of the Gizamon, knocking it away. There seem to be five of them against Wormmon and Coronamon. "Sticky Net!" Wormmon shouts, firing string at two of them, repelling them. The other three growl and two charge at Coronamon while the other attacks Wormmon. "Spiral Saw!" They knock into Coronamon and he slams into the wall of the car. They laugh. Marisol stays back in the opposite corner of the car, typing away quickly at her laptop. "Deadly Sting!" Flymon shouts up top at it fires it's stinger at Gabumon. Gabumon, still holding onto Aaron dodges to the left, causing them to fall flat on the top of the car and getting too close to the edge for comfort.

Aiden runs over to the puppy thing that took a hit, searching for one of those needles to arm himself with.
"You're hit. You okay?"

Charlie looks at the Demidevimon whom entered the car and notice that he's pretty spherical... He runs to it and kicks it like a Soccer ball, hoping to get it out of the car.
"Keep it up Salamon! Let's try to prevent them from getting in!"
