Ansei smiles, rubs his hands together, and starts rummaging through his bag of holding. After a few minutes he finishes... something and tosses it into the hole. You hear more loud noises from inside the hole.
"These are some tough moles..." Ansei complains.
With a loud burst and a shower of earth, moles erupt from the ground. There's only three of them, but they look like they're brimming with hope and linked with unbreakable bonds.
One of them is glowing with an aura similar to Aeva's. Another is holding Monokuma's head. All three turn to you and Ansei.
"...Oh."

"No! No more of that! No more class trials, no more executions, no more being slaughtered like rats!" one of the not-glowing moles yells.
"He shouldn't have known about that...! He must be the true mastermind!" the other not-glowing mole adds.
The glowing mole nods.
"We'll show you the power of average strength!"
"And we'll avenge the third strongest of us, as well as my dear friend the middle-most mole!"
The glowing mole nods... and attacks.

The moles continue trying to attack, but some unseen force yanks them back. They all glare at you.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"OW!" Ansei yells. You glance over to see Crow pulling on his tail.
Crow disappears for a moment. When he comes back, he has some of Ansei's white fur over half his body. Monocrowme stares down at everyone from a nearby tree.
"Ugh. What's going on now?" the fox asks.

"Now then...let's begin with a simple question. Just WHO exactly is the murderer? We know that the third strongest mole was holding Monokuma's head, but did he deal the finishing blow?"

Ansei stares. "...And we couldn't just kill them because...?"
"Because we would've kicked your butts!" one of the not-glowy moles says.
The others nod.
They spoke. It's a step in the right direction, at least.
"I can just suck the answer out of their minds," Ansei offers. He holds up a hand and starts walking towards a mole, then suddenly gets yanked back to his normal spot. "Ow... Um. So how are we supposed to work that out if they won't cooperate?"

"We can investigate. I can also just drop this and you can flat out kill them, but...I'm not really capable of fighting very effectively and fighting sounds kind of...gross."

The glowy mole chucks Monokuma's head at Ansei. It stops in midair with a loud clang, as if hitting an invisible wall, then drops to the ground and rolls away. Ansei ducks down and yelps.
"I don't like these moles."
"We don't like you, either," one says.
The other two nod.

"...Anyway, let's get in with the trial. So obviously the mole with the Monokuma head killed Monokuma. It just makes sense."

"You can't prove it."
"Maybe I did it."
"Are you gonna take that chance?"
"What does she mean by that...?"
"Maybe it wasn't any of us!"

"Well there's one thing for certain that will help in this investigation." Pick up the Monokuma head and inspect it. How was it removed?
