Note: These rules are always subject to change
---General Gameplay---
Every post counts as an action. A player cannot use his next post until all players have used their action.
Players can always use a single main action + a passive action for every posts.
Main actions are thing like moving, collecting, attacking, crafting, defending, building, etc.
Passive actions are things like looking at a specific thing, listening, etc.
For every actions the players make, time moves forward, which means enemies are moving.
A topic will be made every seasons so players can strategize/talk with each other without it moving time forward.
Note that if you have a shield or a protective ability, you can always defend an ally.
Players can separate themselves, but they are all fighting for the same goal. They either all win or they all lose.
Of course, in this adventure, if you die, you are gone for the rest of the season. We'll see you in the next season.
---Signing-up for a season---
Signing up is easy. You're playing as yourself, picking a character of your choice as your avatar. You have every abilities your avatar would have, unless I veto something and remove an ability from you (stuff like instant death attacks). All offensive abilities do 1 unit of damage at the start of a season, no matter it's nature or how flashy it is. Every character starts with 10 Max HP. There are ways to gain armor to take less damage, but no ways to permanently augment your max HP.
---Combat---
Combat follow the same rules as normal gameplay, but has it's own twists.
First of all, every single enemy has their own unique mechanics you'll have to deal with.
Second, enemies follow an aggro system, which will create line-ups. Every player has a line-up that shows what monster will attack them and in which order. The player can use one main action to defend himself from every attacking enemy, but every action must be made towards the appropriate enemies.
To avoid an infinite flood of enemies, time stops during combat for anything that is not already "on-screen".
---Craft Packs---
Vitcon Hardcore has a crafting mechanic. Every character has a Craft Pack which can collect any ressource (wether it's the ground, walls or an object on the field). The Craft Pack doesn't destroy the world, it only copies the ressources. There are no crafting recipes. We'll go for common sense. Therefore, if you want to craft a table with 5 unit of wood, you can do so. If you want to build a quicksand bomb by using a sand unit and some mineral, you can do so. The crafting recipes are your imagination. Don't go making a flamethrower by using ice units though. Be logical.
To reiterate, you can craft anything if I accept your recipe and the number of ressources you're using.
Important items to craft:
Trinkets: Accessories that add a unit of damage to a specific weapon or ability.
Armor: There are 5 possible piece of armor: Helmet, Torso, Gloves, Greaves and Boots.
Facilities: You can use a lot of ressources to build things like houses, food farms or any facility you can think of.
