You wake up to find yourself in a dark and moist place. These are...the city sewers. You stand up, looking around. A river of sewer water moves slowly at your side. Luckily, this path seems to be elevated enough that the sewers only run in the channel. There don't seem to be any ways up to the surface from here. You're going to have to look around a bit further. Your only paths seem to be forward or backward.
"Your data has been saved." You look down at where you were laying and pick up a mysterious phone. "Hello, Master. My name is Auri. I will be functioning as your guide. You seem lost. Is there something I can help you with?"
You look away and inspect the area a bit closer with your eyes. You feel like you saw something moving in the water, but...
"I'm picking up traces of a demon in your area. Proceed with caution, Master."

"This is... very strange." His voice has a distinct Spanish accent. He cautiously moved in the water, keeping close to the wall and looking for a way out.

You keep close to the wall, watching the water as you move forward. Moving along through the sewers, it doesn't take long for you to determine that the water is DEFINITELY moving.
The water splashes upward as a strange creature launches itself up on the dry land in front of you, blocking your path. A humanoid, scaley fish creature. It has webbed hands and feet and a light hanging from its forehead complete with sharp teeth. This is...something out of a nightmare. How could this be real? "Give it to me...Give me your flesh!" The strange creature lets out an inhuman screech.
The phone from before speaks to you again. "Be careful, Master! You can't physically defeat this kind of demon. You'll have to survive by negotiating with it. If you slip up, it could mean your life."

"I am not your friend! You are my prey! Now hold still...this will only take a minute!" The monster bares its sharp fangs, looking as if it will lunge at you!

The monster lunges at you, baring its sharp, deadly fangs!
"Loading..."
Before the creature's fangs can touch you, it stops just inches from your face.
...
"Your data has been loaded."
You find yourself only moments before the creature lunged at you. You have to act quickly!

You jolt to the left, going into a dodge roll as the fish monster leaps at you from above. He flies past you, landing on all fours behind you as you start to dash down the sewers. The sahagin lets out a gurgling shout. It looks like you're going to get away!
...Oh crap. It jumps into the sewer water running beside you and rapidly swims in your direction! That thing is going to catch up to you in no time! Luckily, it looks like there's a fork in the path up ahead. You can either continue down the large tube with space between the sewer water and platforms you're walking on or go down a small side tube with shallow water up to your ankles and not much maneuverable space.
"Master, it seems that there is an incredibly powerful demon signature in the area. Be careful!"

You run down the narrow tube, crouching down and continuing to shuffle your way through. The fish jumps out of the water and gives chase, but can't swim in this shallow water. It seems the playing field is evened as you continue down the tunnel together. "Stop running! All I need is FOOD! RAAAAAAGH!"
"Master, the demon is about to attack you with highly pressurized water. Such a blast will easily cut through your skin and can lead to dismemberment."
You continue to move down the narrow passage and notice the exit not far from here. Do you risk a dodge or try running for it? Or maybe there's a better way to do this...

You quickly move to the side, narrowly evading a blast of pressurized water. It grazes your arm, leaving a small cut on it, before you charge toward the exit with all haste. Finally, a ladder out of here! It goes straight up to the surface, but it's covered by a manhole.
You look behind you as you grab onto the ladder, seeing the strange sea creature still chasing after you down the hall. You'll have to think fast here.
"Your data has been saved."

Fernando looks around quickly and nervously. He takes a deep breath and climbs full force upwards, seeing if he can take off the manhole easily.

You quickly climb up the ladder, grabbing ahold of the manhole cover.
"Loading..." A bright flash of light suddenly blinds you.
You find yourself back at the bottom of the ladder, but holding a very heavy manhole cover. You look up, seeing that the cover is no longer blocking the exit. It seems that when you travel through time, items in your possession travel with you and replace the old ones.
Your arm is still injured and you notice the fish monster still chasing after you from behind.
