Awkward pours salty water on the sand, making it into something close to mud. He then eats the wet sand. It tastes bland and makes you feel dried out and sick.

Just: Nope, sorry. That helicopter had today's supplies on it, so no food for today. Not unless you want something I can get from one of my trophies. Looks like all they got is tea, pineapples, and turnips though. Maybe you could make a soup or something.
Awkward eats more sand. Not very filling or refreshing. You feel heavy...

The figure that you can't see properly grabs you by the shoulder, helping you up before dragging you to the casino by the collar and kicking you face first into the casino floor. Pain shoots through you as you collapse on the ground. The unknown figure talks to you, but you still feel dizzy and can't get up.
