Well, the point is to win the trial. You've reached rank A and, well, the casino owner would like to test your strength. If you can win, there are some pretty nice rewards.

I don't like rewards. I haven't been rewarded at all during this, asides from the trophies I create and apparently 5 coins.

Well, after an hour or so of impatient waiting, Awkward can finally see a big, black, scaled, sharp toothed, big jawed dragon flying toward him. Oh, yes, and someone is riding on it. Paper Mario seems excited about their arrival. It's hard to tell who is riding the dragon though. The sun is glaring in Awkward's eyes.
