Okay so FEC is meant as a sister series for MKC. The two are related but not related. So even if you don't follow MKC you shouldn't be lost with FEC.
For those of you unfamiliar with MKC. MKC (Mushroom Kingdom Chronicles) is about a young woman bird laguz named Sophie and her friends and various people of the Mushroom Kingdom trying to stop a group of villains and to find Mario.
FEC is meant to be everything that's happening over in the Fire Emblem universe. So this in a sense is the same type of story but told from a different perspective. There might be some crossover but not enough to alienate someone who hasn't followed MKC.
The plan is to have the two stories mix up with one another as a grand finale but thats later on down the road.
So far any questions or comments or suggestions?

So some mechanics while I am waiting for some more votes.
Stats
So the numbers representing each stats are more place holders and less actual meaning.
For ex.) Mage has Hp: 1.
That doesn't mean they only have 1 hp. It means that they have next to no health and that any form of heavy damage could KO them. Pretty much don't expect them to sit there and soak of damage.
Like in any RPG. there will be equipment, items, and skills to increase these numbers.
Skills[/u]
Okay so skills will work differently from the usual FE style. Skills will not be ripped exactly from any guides or word from word from a class guide. Instead they will be custom based while also relating to the class. So don't expect someone who's a fighter to have magic based skills.
Skills will be voted upon the group on what type of skill. Skills will usually fall into one of the following categories:
Offensive: Any skills either actively or passively that enhance your offensive capabilities.
Defensive: Any skills that offensively or Defensively actively or passively increase your defensive capabilities.
Passive: Skills that have a passive effect on your abilities. (Ex. Increases movement.)
Healing: Some type of restorative effect on the unit.
Other: Can be custom based as long as it fits within the characters class.
KO[/b]
Just to get this out of the way there is no Permadeath in the game. Even though death isn't permanent it doesn't mean that this is FE casual or that there is no consequence.
So when a character faints they are out of the current battle and are out at least for the remaining chapter. They can only be revived in between chapters and at camps.
A fallen unit is unable to participate in any battles or support events. They will be unable to gain exp or support points.
In theory you can chose to leave a unit KO for the rest of the game. But that unit will be in the state it was when KO.
Now in order to revive a unit you need a special item or you need to pay a fee to revive them. If your characters constantly keep on getting KO then it could hamper you when it comes to upgrading your equipment.

Some things I might have missed.
Combo Attacks
When a unit reaches either S or A+ rank with another unit, they will perform a combo attack. A combo attack are special attacks that deal a great deal of damage and have additional effects depending on who is involved in the combo attacks. These attacks are very powerful with the only downside being is that the characters who use them use there action for that turn.
Duels
These type of encounters are different from the usual battles. (In fact the prolunge encounter is a duel.) Theses are usually one on one battles but can include any combination of combatants. Instead of inputing a move or an action duels take place in a more open environment and the participants are free to move around.
Usually stats play less of a role in duels because it's more based off of the players input then actual over powering the foe. Any actions (as long as they are within reason) are acceptable and sometimes thinking outside the box can have surprising results. Having said that don't expect the input to have the expectant results. Learn to use your environment to your advantage. Also keep an eye out for certain clues or tells because it could give you a clue on what they are planning to do.
Finally, if you ever need a more detailed explanation of the situation just ask. They don't use an action and anything info you might need I will be happy to give (w/in reason of course).
Levels
Most classes have a level cap at level 20. That includes both there basic class and there advanced class. Certain unique classes will have a higher level cap then others. Those classes will be revealed as they are discovered.
Input
As anyone who's read Mushroom Kingdom Chronicles (MKC) know I am very much open to input of any kind. If there's a character you want to appear just ask. If there's a quest or something you want to see in FEC just ask and it will happen. These Cyoas are meant to be as interactive as possible. If there's an idea or something you want don't hesitate to ask.

Okay so remember how I mentioned that this is a sister cyoa to MKC.
Well it's still is to an extent.
The reboot still has a lot in common with the older cyoa so it will still sync up with most of the key moments will still sync up.
