We start with a nice shot of the stars somewhere far-off in the universe. Slowly we zoom in and the camera fades in closer and closer to the planet known as Earth, then to a continent known as North America, a country known as the United States, and finally into one of the states. There we focus on a neighborhood of houses all painted approximately the same ambiguous color. From there we zoom into one house and into the bedroom of a particular youth.
Today, the 9th of July happens to be this young (1)____'s 16th birthday! It was three years ago on this day that this young person was given their name, inscribed on a stone placronym. The placronym clearly reads the name (2)____ as it sits on the corner of their desk. Your room appropriately represents your various interests that you have acquired in your 16 years of life including (3)_____, (4)______, (5)______, and of course your all time favorite hobby (6)_____! Ah, how you love that hobby. That's why your room is so VERY decorated to establish to ANY onlooker that the hobby is your PASSION.
As it is your birthday, you are wearing you FAVORITE shirt (which you coincidentally have multiple of because DAMN you love it) which is basically a plain white T-shirt with (7)______ on it. Today also happens to be the release of an EXTREMELY mysterious computer game that one of your internet pals brought to your attention. They were so excited for this EXTREMELY mysterious game that they even pre-ordered you and your other compadres a copy, all of which should arrive in the mail today. The mail isn't due to arrive for a few hours though and your parental guardian is currently off on some adulty shenanigans as per usual, though you can only assume that these particular adulty shenanigans are birthday related.

Ah yes, you're JACK DARROW. Yes, yes, you've definitely been made fun of for the similarities between your name and a certain swashbuckler's. Good lord you despise Pirates for that very reason. But this pertains to the things you LOVE not the things you HATE. And since you love FOOTBALL, COMIC BOOKS, and CARPENTRY, your room decor reflects these interests. You have several comics about a young aspiring football star who also happens to enjoy carpentry. the series is one of your all time favorites because of it's relate-able themes of being caught between two extremely different interests that you equally enjoy. Of course, the series comes second only to your favorite SCI-FI comic. Your ALL TIME FAVORITE edition of both comic series is the crossover of the two, where the young football playing carpenter is sent into the future and meets the protagonist of the SCI-FI comic and the two go on an insanely AWESOME adventure using their combined skills to save the universe and send the young man back to the past. Ah yes. Your shirt also pertains to this EXTREMELY RARE LIMITED EDITION CROSSOVER COMIC since it has the SCIENTIFIC HAMMERTRON on it. Which is to say, a futuristic looking hammer that the two protagonists created by fusing their weapons through some overly complex crafting system.
Of course, besides the multitude of comics strewn about there are your various SCI-FI movie posters, with classics such as War of The Worlds, Star Wars AND Star Trek which you appreciate equally, Back to the Future, Robot Jocks, and several other more obscure posters that you won't bother listing off for time's sake. Also so the reader can infer whatever they want for the other posters.
You own a carpentry kit whose contents are in various spots of your room. There's wooden planks leaning in one corner, your trusty hammer on your desk, and probably some nails on the floor where you'll find them later in the MOST painful way possible. Next to your hammer is your imitation ray gun, which is silver and styled like most SCI-FI ray guns. It's so RAD and SCIENTIFIC. Is what you tell yourself and all your friends even though it actually just makes a sound and lights up a bit. Or it would if it wasn't out of damn batteries.
There's of course your laptop sitting atop your somewhat crowded desk. Should probably check that at some point. Lastly, there's your white chest in the fourth corner of your room. It appropriately has footballs and football helmets on it. You don't actually remember what's inside as you haven't opened it in awhile.
Seems like there's some time to kill before the mail arrives. What will you do? (Open option)

You put out your arms, look to the sky(really just your ceiling), and open your mouth wide, letting out a "Wahhhhhhhhhhh!" as you spin around like a COMPLETE BAFOON because your favorite meme character did not make it into a popular platform fighting game. This is what the gaming community has become.
After venting your frustrations for a few minutes, and that's the absolute vaguest and nicest way to describe your IDIOTIC and CHILDISH behavior, you decide to retrieve your arms from your war chest as well as scavenge for some batteries while you're at it.
You walk the few steps over to your MASSIVE chest and... open it? But... if you don't have arms then how can you open ANYTHING? This is a conundrum for the ages! A truly stumping philosophical question that not even the lost scholars can- Oh.
You slap yourself at the realization that you do in face possess the standard human reaching and groping appendages, but the artist simply chooses not to render them for WHATEVER reason. Of course, there is no artist and you have no clue what you're even talking about since this game is TEXT-BASED. And TEXT-BASED games have no artist. You sigh at this endless cycle of stupidity and open the chest.
Inside your chest is your carpenter's belt, a few smaller ray guns that lack the luxurious features of your larger ones, a light saber whose color can be changed with the press of a button, a football and helmet, and a pair of battery-operated wearable fake arms. You spot no batteries out in the open, but if you're really determined to continue on this quest then it might be possible to scavenge some from something else. What will you do?
