Jasper tries desperately to get a handle on himself, fughting a full-on panic attack.
He struggles for air, his breathing ragged. He grips his hand to his chest, and then his arm. It takes a few minutes, but he gets a hold on his breathing, and stops shaking to a degree. Still, he looks worried and exasperated at the events unfolding arround him.

Somewhere
As he was walking down the hallway, Joshua blinked. Suddenly, he was no longer indoors. He paused briefly before dropping the documents he was carrying, pulling knives out of his sleeves, and moving to a defensive position in anticipation for some kind of attack of sorts.
Nothing.
He gradually became more at-ease as nothing seemed to attack. Observing his surroundings, he seemed to be in a rocky grassland of sorts. Still not completely off guard, he quietly approached the nearby boulders and looked behind them to make sure there was no one lying in wait. After making absolute sure that he was alone, he finally stood back upright.
...Where the hell am I, and why do I feel this is somehow Nelson's fault?
Putting his knives away, he reached for his belt to call out his Pokemon. He felt something that was most definitely not a Pokeball and looked down to see that he was carrying a gun and Protect Generator; two things he did not have with him prior to appearing here. Sure enough, he checked and he even had his smoke bombs in their usual compartments and his mask in his inner coat pocket.
Curiouser and curiouser...
He sent out all five of his Pokemon. He noticed his Cosmic Drive had to be turned on again, despite not turning it off prior to all this.
"Dammit Josh, can't you go turn in some documents without getting into trouble?!" exclaimed Grinn.
"If this is my fault, I assure you it was completely an accident", said Joshua.
"Maybe Mewtwo got high and teleported us to who-knows-where", commented Zoroark.
"I don't know", said Rotom. "If the leaders did this, it's more like Benga's doing."
"Is Mewtwo even capable of intoxication?" Ditto wondered aloud.
Joshua thought a bit. "Ditto, can you Transform into Yancy's Golurk and... I don't know, scan the database for our location or something?"
"I have not yet mastered that form in particular, but I shall try."
Ditto trailed away a bit to give himself some space as he transformed into the ancient robot. He looked around for some time.
"...I cannot find any data of it. Though I confess I'm uncertain whether this is due to my inexperience with doing such an act, or if this location truly is unknown."
"Makes you wish we had the real deal here, eh?" said Zoroark.
Manaphy looked at Joshua and noticed something at the corner of her eye. She hovered behind him. "Daddy! There's something glowing in your back pocket!"
Joshua brought his hand to where Manaphy was pointing and felt something there. He pulled it out and began examining. Manaphy and Rotom hovered behind his shoulder for a better look.
There are... cards?
"Look!" said Rotom. "It's mama!"
Joshua looked over at the first card in his "deck". Just as Rotom said, an image of Yancy looking forward was printed on the card, with her Pokemon taking up separate icons beneath her image. He looked through the rest of the deck.
"Yancy, Riley, and... Three other people I don't recognize.... But..."
"What about those others in yer hand?" inquired Grinn.
"Blank", said Joshua, showing one of them to Grinn. "They're not glowing like the others, either."
"But what are they for?" asked Manaphy.
"Good question", said Joshua.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think I got send to a world where card games are a major thing... But none of these have stats, for one.
"...Well, one thing's for sure", said Zoroark, "we still gotta find out where we are."
"Quite right", said Ditto, having reverted back to normal. "Might I suggest we search for the nearest batch of civilization and inquire further there?"
"Best option we got", said Joshua. He looked back at his deck, pausing ever-so-slightly to admire Yancy's card, and put it away. He held out his mask towards Rotom. "Who knows whether we might get attacked. All of you do your thing."
All of them nodded. Rotom entered the mask, which Joshua began to wear. Grinn slipped into Joshua shadow. Ditto wrapped itself around his wrist. Zoroark used the power of illusion to make himself and Manaphy invisible to any other onlooker as they walked (or hovered in Manaphy's case) alongside him.
Checking one last time to see his handgun was loaded, John Doe looked around.
"Let's go... that way."
Northern Oz
General Jonathan Sterling really didn't feel like working today.
It's not like he didn't want to do this whole "life-saving" thing, he wasn't going to turn their back on them even if no negative consequences would come of it, but... he simply didn't really like the people he was saving. Not enough to want them to die or anything, but enough for him to have to force himself to be lying prone on top of the hill looking down the sights of a sniper rifle along with an Angelo spotter on loan from Viola's forces, the thick blanket of leafs, grass, and tree branches camouflaging them just adding even more onto the heat.
He cursed his luck at seeing Mason leading the charge. His eardrums were not in the mood, nor did he prepare earplugs.
"That village isn't going to last long," said Captain Obvious. That is, the spotter Sterling brought with him. Captain Obvious probably wasn't his real name, but it fit him like a glove, so that's what Sterling named him in his head.
"Waiting for a shot," Sterling muttered. "I ain't takin' chances with Mason, I want a decisive strike here, and at this distance, that's difficult when the varmint won't stand still."
"I'm just saying, their civilian evacuation would appreciate help, quickly."
In all honesty, Sterling wouldn't have minded if they got slapped around a bit. Not killed, but maybe getting their high-horse killed. See, it's a settlement inside an ages-old fort, consisting mainly of Dalish elves. Not the good elves that are a bit naive but eager to learn about the world outside their isolationist lives, but arrogant ones that think they're better than everyone else at that. Wouldn't give most of the other Yuleian soldiers the time of day despite looking like they've been dragged through the mud, and allegedly acted 'like pompous assholes with brooms shoved up there' to the merchant caravan Sterling sent their way. Sterling didn't even want to bother showing his face to them, since his kind are treated... unpleasantly by people like them. He had enough headaches to deal with.
Sterling heard something high-pitched from behind him, somewhere off in the distance. "The hell was that?" Sterling asked, not diverting his gaze from the Ephesian army.
"What the... General, in the fort, by the central flagpost!" Sterling glanced over. A white pillar of light shove from above before dissipating. A scrawny-looking guy stumbled out of it, looking around in confusion.
"...Wait a sec," Sterling muttered. "Ain't today supposed to be...
Oh you've gotta be kiddin' me. Barry!"
"It's Larry!" protested the spotter.
"Whatever, gimme your radio!"
Dalish Settlement
Grant didn't know what had happened in the span between now and half a second ago. All he knew is that he suddenly wasn't in Realgam, Meridia was gone, and a couple of explosions over there were way too close for comfort.
"Wha--?!"
"Hide!"
Grant looked around for a bit before running into a building by a tear through the wall. Identifying the building as some kind of cafeteria, Grant dived over the counter and crouched for cover.
"What happened?!"
"You tell me! The only thing on my mind until now was food!"
It was only then that Grant became aware of a weight on his back. He reached over, feeling a shield. He also noticed a sword at his hip.
"Wait, I thought I left these back in my room."
"Well, it sounds like we'll need them. Anything useful in your pockets we can use?"
"Uhh..." Grant winced at the sound of something crumbling nearby. "Y-Ymir and Morrigan! I have their Pokeballs!"
"Turtwig and Murkrow, right?"
Grant peeked out overhead. He saw some uniformed legs running outside. He could hear steel clanging against steel, gunshots, and yelling, though he couldn't make out anything of what they were saying.
"If I didn't have this scrawny little body, I'd just run out guns blazing, knowing that I could beat everyone down, but..."
"Yeah okay, sure," Grant said sarcastically. "We're Flying away on Morrigan. We'll get out of here before trying to figure out where we are."
"That's out best bet. Watch for an opening. I'll take over if we need to."
Grant nodded. "Alright."
I just wanted breakfast with Meridia...
Erebus Station Square
Meridia didn't know what had happened in the span between now and half a second ago. All she knew is that he suddenly wasn't in Realgam, Grant was gone, and an ear-piercing wail of an electric guitar filled her ears.
Crying out in pain and surprise, Meridia covered her ears as she ducked down. Wincing, she looked up at her surroundings. An audience. A guitarist. A stage. Oversized novelty speakers.
W-What? A rock concert?! Where--?!
She didn't see the roadies coming as she was tackled offstage.
Perimeter Wall
Another Kalidah was launched off the wall by a decisive blow from Leonard, slamming into a few unfortunate Monkeys. Although by the point the swarm around the perimeter consisted mostly of stragglers, the chaos hardly relented. The number of Kalidah had dropped off significantly thanks to the general, but they've been especially persistent, the other abominations seem to have an indefinite supply of reinforcements ready to take their place when one of them falls, and the Yuleian soldiers with their dwindling numbers have no such luxury.
"Come on!!" Leonard bellowed, tossing an injured Winkle off the wall. "I can shoulder everything the world tosses at me! The Witch is supposed to be the wrath of Oz?!" He balled his hands overhead before hammering it down upon a Flying Monkey's head, slamming them down and breaking a hole into the brick floor on impact. "You're all a disgrace!" A Monkey pounced onto his shoulders. He pulled it off as it clawed at him and slammed it down in front of him. "Give me a damn challenge already!" Leonard walked over the monkey. He stomped on it's head as he was getting off. "Fight like you mean it!"
A winkle jumped at him intending to stab him through the face, which Leonard caught just inches from his face. The machine used this time to dig sharp objects into his shoulders and arms with its other limbs. In the brief struggle before Leonard pried it off him, another Kalidah covered with Winkle mounts took notice of him and charged. Leonard only had time to turn his head before the beast impacted him.
"Oof!"
Leonard dug his feels into the floor, but it was too late -- The beast pushed Leonard crashing through the brick fortification behind him. Gravity did the rest, as he descended several meters down into the grassland below.
Ngh! Good thing I'm Leonard Skaar, or else that would have actually hurt me!
Meanwhile, back on the wall, the Kalidah attempted to balance itself on its hind legs as their upper body tilted over the air. It failed to pull itself to safety and it toppled over, a Winkles still clinging onto it as it fell right on top of the Yuleian general.
Then the winkles' cores began to heat up before exploding in an exaggerated manner.
......Ow...
Ritual Room
Cia laid on the floor. Something went horribly wrong. It felt as if an outside force had interfered and halted the ritual. The incomplete spell fell apart. Worse of all, the Witch noticed, and by the sounds of it, is more determined than ever to destroy the Palace where it stands. Fight as they might, it is only a matter of time before the Yuleians and Outlanders are all overwhelmed... Before her homeland finally falls.
Did I fail? Is this... how it ends?
Cia balled up a fist.
...No. I won't allow it!
Everything hurt, but Cia still forced herself to crawl over to her fallen staff. Her body trembled as she pulled herself up.
Lana. Glinda. I didn't intend for it to be this way, but...
Alvis pushed a massive gust of air into the entranceway, pushing the horde back among itself for a few seconds. The beasts at the front fell and were trampled by their brethren as Alvis looked backward. He saw Cia holding her staff, the snake's eyes glowing golden. "Cia, what are you..."
"It won't... End this way," Cia muttered. She stood tall before raising her staff upward. "Even if I have to sacrifice myself, I will not allow Yuleia to fall!!"
The staff hissed. A great serpent of light rose upward.
"Sacred Serpent's Wake!!"
The snake's light intensified into a brilliant supernova, magnifying in size until becoming a beam of energy that consumed the room. The Sacred Serpent roared as the light swallowed the room, ascending the stairway, quickly passing through and enveloping the palace, disintegrating the abominations in radiant heat while the Outlanders and Yuleians were left untouched. The serpent expanded further still, coiling around the palace and devouring the foes above the city and over the walls. Once the last of the Witchspawn has been destroyed the Serpent slithered up into the sky, dissipating in a portal of light.
Glinda lowered the arms she held to shield herself from the light. The guards with her had drawn their weapons again, but the abominations pestering them had all vanished. The damages to the environment were the only evidence that remained of their existence.
The queen took a moment to process what had happened before turning pale.
Cia. You didn't...!
She bolted down the hall.
Ritual Room
The soldiers were all looking around, getting their bearings. All of them were injured in varying degrees, but none of them were killed by the hoard. The ones with lesser injuries went to assist the ones most in need of medical attention, with a pair turning to the Outlanders to ask if they required assistance of their own.
Alvis shook his head as he sat up on the ground. He saw Cia breathing heavily in the middle of the room.
"It... is done..." she panted. Her staff suddenly fell to the ground while her knees buckled. "Now... I'm..."
The sorceress collapsed.

June realizes she's still shielding Jasper and takes a few steps away. She grabs her horse by the reins and stands at his side. "Who are you people? Where are we? What were those things?" She glances down at Cia. "Is she OK?"

Ritual Rooms
After the light fades from the room Sonic takes a couple of seconds to regain his bearings. Sonic takes a couple of seconds to make sure the Chaos Emerald is still in his possession.
Sophie's Aura is starting to fade signaling her Phoenix stone is reaching it's limit.
Sophie uses the last of her powers to create a fire dome around the center of the room. "Quick anyone who's injured get inside the flames,". "These flames can help to soothe those that are injured,". Sophie after creating the dome returns to her normal form as her power has exhausted.
Bowser just lumbers towards the flames and just grumbles. Bowser also looks surprised that Kamek is still here. "Hey aren't you suppose to just puff away now," Bowser asked.
"Well usually yes,". "But you see you used my magic wand to summon me sire,". "By the way what are you doing with my wand you didn't steal it from me did you?" Kamek asked.
"Don't know it just kinda of appeared in my hand when I arrived here," Bowser said.
"So you say," Kamek said to Bowser suspiciously.
Yuliean Town Square
The only thing Mario could remember was one moment he was at Peach's castle. The next moment Mario was falling from the sky before he face planted into the fountain. Before Mario could get his bearings and figure out where he was Starlow popped him on the head. "(Hey where are we?)" Mario asked Starlow.
"I don't know but this could be the place that was causing the Star Rod to go crazy," Starlow told Mario.
Starlow and Mario took a moment to take in the scene around him. The sky's were alight with flying monkeys and other weird monstrosities. They appear to be heading towards a large building in the distance. Meanwhile around them most people are either staring at the sky and fleeing to there home. Some of the other Citizens were looking at Mario and Starlow wondering who or what they are. The rest of the Citizens were out in about just minding there own business.
Before Mario and Starlow could make an attempt to move. Another person lands right on top of Mario. "Dammit all I all wanted to do was go on a date with my girlfriend,". the young woman said.
The young woman who just arrived was looking around to see where she was. Her carefully done makeup was beginning to run and her hair was a mess. A strange yellow blob starts floating around the young woman. "Umm hello miss, umm you kinda of landed on top of my friend," Starlow said to the young lady.
Morgan was looking at the strange yellow creature then noticed air bubbles beneath her. "Oh I am so sorry," Morgan said. Morgan moved aside so that Mario could get up. "I am so sorry sir," Morgan said to Mario.
"(No problem Ms. at least I was able to provide a soft landing spot,)". Mario said to the young lady.
Morgan looks confused at the man. Morgan certainly heard the language before she's familiar with the Italian language. Yet she never heard someone speak it so fast.
"Umm right I think," Morgan tells the strange man confusingly.
"Sorry about that Miss,". "Most of the people where we come from are use to the way he talks,". "Oh yeah my name is Starlow," Starlow introduced herself.
"Hello there Starlow my name is Morgan," Morgan said to Starlow.
"It's a me Mariiiii Oh no," Mario was in the middle introducing himself when another person lands on top of him.
"Wow didn't know people just fell from the sky here,". "This is an awfully strange world we arrived in," Starlow said.
"Umm where are we?" the young woman with Pink, Pointed ears and a Pink Tail asked.
"Hmm must been where that strange voice dropped us off Catie," a talking Black Cat told Catie.
"I guess Sam but where exactly are we," Catie asked Sam.
"Umm Catie and Sam could you get off of Mario for a moment," Starlow asked them both.
Catie was confused until she saw the air bubbles and helped him up.
The three strangers were staring at one another unsure of where they were.

Ephesus Throne Room
The assembled consortium gasped at the towering mechanical marvel that suddenly emerged from the light. Most faces held varying mixes of resigned failure and fear, and many hands were tracing habitual religious superstitions in the air.
Esdeath's face and hands were not among the many. She was poised to neutralize threats instead. She was also poised to examine the masterwork of engineering before her, but that could come after neutralization. When the voice within the machine asked a question, Esdeath was ready as usual to be her kingdom's mouthpiece, but the echoing voice of the Emperor answered first. In her respect, she instead silently motioned for the other mages to depart. She would brief them afterwards. The Emperor's commanding visage and golden glow subsided slightly as he drifted down from his post above.
"Welcome to our world, dear Outlanders. This is Ephesus, Kingdom of the Chosen People, and I am it's Emperor." The Emperor spoke in conversational tones, though his voice was everyone at once. "Our apologies, but your presence here was not our intent. As best our intelligence had gathered, an enemy faction sought to summon warriors from another world to assist them in their war against us. Our attempts to dispel the summoning failed, and instead merely brought you to us instead of them. No doubt there are others less fortunate than you, who have been plucked from their homes and scattered out into the chaos of this world."
As the mages made their exit, Esdeath grabbed one of her higher ranking colleagues. She instructed her to put a word out to the legions and look for "Outlanders". Her attention then shifted back to the Outlander who's appearance was not so obvious; the winged woman who had stayed silent.
The Emperor continued. "Until we find a way to return you home, you will be our guests. Is there anything else we can answer for you?"
Erebus Station Square
In another land, from another time, there is a mythological class of warriors who operate in the shadows. These warriors pay homage to those vital performers who act behind the scenes in stage plays, dressed in all black and wreathed in silence as to act invisibly upon the stage, beyond notice of the watching audience. These people were called Ninjas.
The Galahad's royal ninjas leapt upon the intruder. It was a rapid flurry of restraints, grapples, stuffing of a body into a bag, and a swift departure from the stage. A trapdoor closed behind them and the sounds of thunder and lightning were reduced to dull rumbles
"Where did she come from?" One ninja said to the other.
"Who knows, but she's going in the dirt." Came the reply..
The sound of hasty steps approaching , and the a third voice, higher in pitch. "Hold on. There was a disturbance in the air, separate from His Holy Performance. This may be the work of some greater magic."
"That's sacrilegious!"
"In which case perhaps The Galahad would have to question her in person."
"..."
"Question her now?"
"Now."
Blindfold off, gag out, the intruder was bound to a chair. In a dimly lit office room, the Outlander sat before two men and a women dressed in all black.
"Do you know where you are?" The woman started.

Espheus Ritual Room
Dr. Eggman having been addressed by the emperor seemed a little more at ease.
"Hmm I I should have realised the Chaos Emeralds were acting up,". "Alas what done is done,". "Anyways it seems like I will be your guest for a while,". "Chances are though if this was a summoning then that blasted Hedgehog is also here,". "Also if I have one Chaos Emerald then chances are the other seven are here,". "This could be my chance to get all seven," Dr. Eggman thought.
"So we are to be guest in your kingdom then,". "Your gesture is far to kind my lord,". "Oh right maybe I should introduce myself first,". "My name is Dr. Ivan "Eggman" Robotic,". Dr. Eggman said.
"These two here are some of my greastest creations, the Death Egg Robot and Metal Sonic,". "I will keep Metal Sonic with me, but if you have a place where I can keep the Death Egg Robot then it would be most appreciated,". "Of course of I am to be a guest your welcome to study it as long as in return I can study your technology,". Dr. Eggman said.
"I do have one question though,". "Something very precious from my world was also summoned along with me,". "What I have to say is very sensitive," Dr. Eggman said clutching the Emerald.
"Before I say anything about this emerald here I need to know how much you trust your general and if they can be trusted with this info?" Dr. Eggman asked the Emperor.

Field Outside Ephesus
Fawful having woken up from his slumber began to look around. "Stupid contraption when I get back I shall have the words with Anna(?) and Dimento," Fawful grumbled.
"Anyway where did that thing send me anyways, this certainly isnt the kingdom of Mushrooms,". "Security is much better,". "I guess taking a look around couldn't do the hurting," Fawful said taking off on his helmet.
Fawful was about to take to the air when he's suddenly tackled to the ground.
"There you are now we can end this," a fat man dressed in yellow and purple told Fawful.
"Who ever did the tackling shall feel the full force of my fury," Fawful said to the tackler.
"Oh it's you the red one's lap dog Wario," Fawful told Wario.
"You got a lot of nerve green bean,". "You take my treasure and then try to sic that diamond on me,". "Oh and also trying to destroy my company yeah that,". "I been waiting for this moment," Wario said cracking his knuckles.
"The only thing worse then your brains is your smell,". "I shall have fun raining the fury upon your garlic like head," Fawful told Wario. Fawful began to glow all of a sudden as he was surrounded in a dark aura. When the dark light faded Fawful's cloak was a darker red, and he was wearing Black pants and cloths instead of his usual red.
"You shall the pleasure of having your Chlortles beaten in by my new darkness form,". Dark Fawful told Wario.
"Soooo that's how it's going to be well two can play at that game,". Wario said taking out a clove of garlic. Wario tossed it in the air and was about to catch it when a Blue light surrounded it.
"Huh that usually doesn't happen," Wario said in confusion.
A weird bipedal fox like creature is seen in a nearby hill also surrounded by a weird blue light. The fox like creature is joined by a mouse dressed up as a scientist and a weirdly unusually happy shadow like ghost.
Wario was growing impatient and was getting ready to just charge Fawful head on. When all of a sudden the mouse creature appeared out of no where right between the two. Before Fawful or Wario could react the strange Yellow mouse scientist yelled Pikachuuuuuuuu and electrcity flew from the mouse into Wario and Fawful. Wario and Fawful were unable to move after being stuck by the lighting and just kinda of stood there growling at one another.
Pixy looked confused as to why they were growling at one another and waited for Fen Fen and Chlortles to join her.

Not Realgam Tower Meridia's world spun after getting tackled, hitting her head on the floor, and getting hit some more. She was only barely aware of what happened afterward, only really noticing something going in and then out of her mouth. A rag? She shook her head. She was in a dimly lit room. Head still hurt like crazy, but slowly regaining focus. That was when she realized she was tied to a chair; wrists tied to the arms, ankles to the legs. Her eyes darted across the room. Three people in front of her asked something but she didn't quite catch what it was.
Oh no... no, no no! O-Okay, deep breath, Meridia. Deep breaths. This is all... just a bad dream. Just a dream. Calm down. Just calm down. Calm down. [/i][/div] "Who are you?" Meridia asked. She tried to sound stern, but he voice cracked slightly nonetheless. "Where am I? What do you want?"
Yuleian Ritual Room Alvis dashed over to where Cia laid, turning her so that she laid face-up. He placed a finger on her neck. A pulse. Breathing too. Good. At least the worst case scenario hadn't occurred. "Yes... A proper explanation is owed to all of you." Alvis glanced around. Blood, spent ammunition, and structural damages everywhere. "But... Let us relocate to a more inviting location. I think... yes, the throne room would do well. I will send medics to assist with your wounds, or tend to other needs." He signaled to the guards, who saluted. "They shall escort you there. I am terribly sorry for the... less-than-ideal welcoming." Alvis stepped to the side as the guards and the Outlanders each trudged out of the room. One he and the unconscious sorceress were alone, Alvis slouched against the wall, sighing heavily in exhaustion.
A number of the Outlanders tripped and fell down the stairs, suddenly disappearing into the wind. Nobody notices this happen, nor will they ever notice that they ever went missing.
Glinda and her guards stopped in front of the Ritual Room. The front entrance was charred and ruined by some kind of massive blast, and the ground was littered with ashen footsteps. Two corpses of soldiers laid on the ground.
Glinda was about to charge in when a party of individuals escorted by her guards walked up the stairs to the room. Glinda panted and stood up straight, not needing to be told who these people were.
"A-Ah. Greetings," Glinda panted before raising a hand to her heart and bowing slightly. "P-Pardon me, but there was... a woman dressed in white within that room, correct? What has happened to her?"

(Feel free to correct me if Glinda isn't actually referring to Cia) Mog simply stared at the new woman for a moment before answering. "As far as I can tell she cast a powerful spell beyond her capabilities. You'll have to ask this man what her current state is, kupo."

June leads her horse into the throne room with complete abandon for any social decorum, giving anyone who even looks like they might say something about it a sharp glare.
She nods to the floating, fluffy white creature's answer. "Yes, she was... unconscious, at least," June says as she stares at the two corpses. The angel continues to hover a few inches above the ground, wings motionless. She holds her gaze on the king himself. A slit appears on her shoulder, then snaps open to reveal an eye, staring back at Esdeath. Then another, and another, and another open up across her body until one is fixed on each person in the room. "Yes. I have one question. These... children's playing cards. What is it, and why is it in my possession?"
She produces a set of cards from her pocket. Two are blank, but the last shows a picture of an elderly woman in a black and white outfit.

Just Outside the Ritual Room
Glinda's breath sharpened, but she tried keeping a calm demeanor. "I see..." She turned to one guard. "Bring a stretcher from the medical wing." She then gestured to another pair. "Make arrangements to collect the deceased for a burial... Make sure their families are informed..."
The instructed soldiers saluted and marched off. The rest remained with Glinda.
"Ah... pardon us."
Glinda nodded apologetically before stepping to the side of the Outlander group and hurrying down the stairs with her bodyguards in tow.
The instant Alvis heard footsteps, he stood right back up at attention, an arm behind his back. He relaxed ever-so-slightly when the queen was the one who emerged from the doors, but not enough to show how fatigued he really was.
"Cia!" The queen dashed over to kneel at the unconscious sorceress's side.
"I imagine what she did would have been seen for miles," Alvis commented. "She's physically stable, at least. What I am worried for, however, is her energy levels. A magic strike of this magnitude must've used most of her ether energy. If I may be blunt, I wouldn't be surprised if she barely has enough to survive. She may not be dead, but if I'm correct, then she may be left comatose for... an indefinite period of time..."
"That would be no better than death!" Glinda exclaimed. She reached down to hold the sorceress's hand, blinking rapidly to hold back tears. "There... There must be some way to..."
Alvis hesitated. "I have... one theory, but I expect that Cia would know more than I. There is still time. I will procure a Morpheo Stone for you. Right now, I suggest you return to the throne room. There will be Outlanders there who deserve an explanation."
Glinda dearly wished she could refuse as she held her best friend's hand. Instead she gave one last look at her before standing back up. She took a deep breath, briefly bringing a hand up to wipe her eyes, before speaking seriously. "Y-You are right... Very well... I will see her shortly after I am finished."
Glinda turned back to the stairway, trying not to make her inner feelings visible as she blinked the tears away.
Oh gods, Cia... This is all my fault! What am I supposed to tell Lana?!
Throne Room
"Please, sir!" protested the guard. Just because you're not 'leakin'', doesn't mean that your wounds are fully treated! If left unattended, it could lead to infection!"
The Outlanders -- as the weirdly-dressed folk around them had taken to calling them -- had assembled in the large and spacious throne room. Some of them were conversing amongst themselves. Some were talking to some soldiers and staff, willing to cater to any needs that they may require at present. Some just waited silently. Irving wanted to do the last action, but one soldier was extremely persistent on giving him medical attention, whether Irving wanted it or not.
"Oh god, shuuuuut uuuuup already!" Irving exclaimed. "Even if somethin' like this would kill me, that doesn't mean I'm givin' ya that contents to do whatever you want!"
The soldier paused for a few seconds. "...You mean consent?"
"What I'm saying is this." Irving leaned in. "Don't." He leaned in further. "Touch me." He leaned in again. The soldier leaned back in response. "Got it?!"
The soldier glared back at Irving before storming away. Irving groaned. "Ugh. Today's been a shitty enough day as-is."

Safe House
Lana was escorted to the safe house before the witch's force could attack the palace.
Lana wasn't too happy and was mostly silent until a familiar voice greeted her.
"Hey Lana took you long enough," a German Shepard with a scar over his left eye greeted her.
Lana looked over to the source of the voice and saw it was her trusted companion Charlie. The guards led Lana into the safehouse and informed her that if she needed anything they would be outside. Lana nodded and went towards Charlie.
"Oh hey Charlie," Lana said in a defeated tone.
"Let me guess they are going through with the ritual of there,". Charlie said to Lana.
"Yeah and I just have a really bad feeling,". "I tried to tell mom about how much of a bad idea it was,". "But of course she doesn't listen and I get banished here," Lana sighed.
"Well that sucks but well your mom must have a good reason to go through with it," Charlie told Lana. Charlie went over to where Lana was sitting and placed his head on her lap.
"Well I guess but this is an Oz promblem,". "We shouldn't be putting our trust in outsiders who may chose to make our lives worst,". "La sigh I wish there I was something I could do though,". "It sucks I have to sit here and wait while mom and Cia are risking there life," Lana bemoaned.
"Yeah if someone only knew how to create portals,". "Yeah too bad the only person who knows how to do that is your mom," Charlie said to Lana.
Lana looked towards Charlie and a metaphorical light bulb went off. Lana went to her room and began looking for a cloak of some type to cover her face and skin. Lana then went ahead and placed her ruby necklace on.
Lana placed the cloak next to Charlie and went to adress the guards. "Hey guys I am really tired so I am about to head to sleep," Lana addressed the guards.
"Okay princess we will do our best to make sure no one comes inside to interrupt your sleep," the guards said to Lana.
"Thank you for all your hard work," Lana said to the guards.
Lana grabbed her cloak and went to her room along with Charlie. She then set up her pillows to appear like she is sleeping in her bed as to not arouse any suspicion.
Lana placed on her cloak and then grasped her necklace causing a portal into town appear. Lana and Charlie crossed the portal and went into the middle of town.

Yuliean Throne Room
Sophie is still getting use to her surroundings and is feeling a bit exhausted. Having gone into Phoenix mode shortly after being summoned to this land drained her quicker then usual.
Bowser was just huffing, puffing, and glaring at anyone and everyone. Bowser was behaving himself at Princess Peach's Party and he didn't deserve this treatment.
Kamek was just floating next to Bowser observing the situation.
Sonic arrived and decided to be the first one to break the silence. "Nice place you have here queen,". "I can really dig the decor and everything," Sonic said awfully impressed.
"I take it being the queen your the one in charge around here,". "Now then what I am about to tell you is very important," Sonic tells everyone present. Sonic takes out the Chaos Emerald he was summoned with and holds it so everyone can see it.
"This here might look like an ordinary emerald, but this here is a very special Emerald from my world,". "This is called a Chaos Emerald and this Emerald here contains limitless power and energy,". "It can control time and space, turn thoughts into power, and has the ability to act as a limitless power source,". "Of course only a few people from my world really know or understand how it really works,". "Lucky for you guys I am one of those people,".
Sonic goes ahead and goes a little more in depth (so basically now they understand all there is I might have missed with the Chaos Emeralds). "If any of you guys come across this Emerald please be on high aleart,". "There's no telling how they can be influencing the people or the places they happened to land," Sonic tells everyone in the throne room.

Sonic looks at the guy who's bleeding heavily.
"Really I just told you about emeralds that can control time and space,". "And the fact that I am talking is the biggest shock,". "What you never seen a talking anthropomorphic hedgehog before?" Sonic asks the guy.
