Christina will use Physcut on one of the the tenticals.

Max and 227 stay back from the enemy. You can hear 227's voice over the comm device. "Analyzing the enemy for weaknesses..." The rogue's mech activates a cloaking device, disappearing among the stars.

Gawain quickly moves into position, a veteran in combat situations like these. He slashes at the creature's center, gathering its attention and moving about in a way to protect his allies from incoming attacks. While the creature is distracted, Eurya quickly flies in and lands a powerful slash across the center with her mech. "Going all out! Full speed ahead!" Lyko charges forward, unleashing a blitz of powerful slashes on the enemy's core with her mech and adding to the damage. "Ow, ow, ow, hot, hot, hot!"

227's voice can be heard again. "It appears Lyko has overheated her mech. It will need time to cool down before it can function again. For now she is defenseless."

"Great..."

Aya and the medic move in to provide cover fire while Christina activates the psychic amplifier on her mech, launching a powerful blade of psychic energy into one of the tentacles and cutting it clean off. "Oh, sweet moves!" Zazel's mech amplifies his magic as steel spears rain down on the creature.

Melfein casts a haunting curse on the creature, causing multiple ghosts to swarm around it, making a horrible, wailing noise. The ranger takes the distraction and unleashes a rain of fire on the enemy.

The mysterious creature lets out another metallic screech as one of the tentacles grabs Gawain and wraps around him. The other two remaining tentacles snatch up Lyko and the medic as well.

227's voice can be heard again. "Scan complete! I cannot identify this creature, but I've noted a few weakpoints. The glowing core is its weakest point and where you'll want to strike, but be wary of the tentacles. They can grab and ensnare you. The best way to avoid this is to cut them off with cyber blades!"

The medic's voice can be heard. "A little help would be appreciated. My mech can't move like this."

227 responds. "They'll also likely be crushed to death if we don't release them."

"Less talking. More cutting."

Christina will maneuver her mech so she can cut loose Lyko with a Physcut blade.

So I'm assuming that I can't do anything while grappled, but as soon as I'm free take up a defensive stance and get ready to cut through incoming tentacles.

Aya moves in closer to the creature, slashing at one of the tentacles holding Gawain. 227 flies in from behind her, finishing the job and cutting clean through the tentacle, releasing Gawain. Once released, the veteran fighter quickly returns to his defensive position, cutting at the tentacle holding the medic. Eurya follows up with a wide slash, cutting the tentacle off and releasing their ally. "Whew, thanks for that. I owe you one." The medic flies back, retreating a bit.

Christina flies in with Zazel close behind. She unleashes another powerful Psycut, slashing through the tentacle while Zazel continues to rain down steel needles. "Thanks for saving me, Chrissy." Lyko's mech is still unable to move, but the medic flies in and moves her back so she can't be hit by any powerful hits during the mech's cooldown period.

Melfien casts a hexing curse on the creature, causing a dark aura to swirl around it. The dark energy can be seen being sapped from it slowly while Melfein becomes stronger. The ranger begins to lock onto the glowing part of the creature's body that 227 labeled as the weakpoint before the rogue suddenly appears behind the creature and slashes into its back, causing it to release a loud screech. You can hear the rogue's distorted voice through the comm. "This creature is much more resilient than anticipated."

227 responds. "Aim for the weakpoint! That will deal the most damage!"

Max continues to stay out of the way, waiting for a chance to repair the broken satellite.

Shield Bash that weak point.
