Then again, Square is being so stingy I would be shocked if they added anything else, besides maybe Geno (Which probably came with Cloud back when they made a deal in the Smash 4 days).

Chrono echo of Cloud first. I was going to say that I don't see how this would work, but now that I think about it a lot of Cloud's specials could be made into Crono's techs without too much trouble. Blade Beam = Wind Slash Cross Slash = Frenzy Climhazzard = Cleave And Limit Charge would be a little tougher. Maybe focusing lightning into his weapon as a reference to how many Dual Techs consist of casting a spell on someone's weapon, or perhaps giving his weapon a rainbow colored glow as a reference to his ultimate weapon while explaining the powered-up specials as a critical hit while ignoring that techs can't crit? Either way, while it's a heck of a lot weaker in-game Cyclone is probably the closest thing to Finishing Touch. Lastly, while a barrage of slashes could fit as his Final Smash with his emphasis on speed I'd rather see something with Luminaire. Chrom has Ike's Aether despite being an echo of Roy. They could swap out the limit mechanic for anything else (although...probably a counter if they're lazy). |

Yeah, it's not like AC is some under-performing series that gets characters because of Sakurias. It's a crucial system seller, and one which will continue to push Switch units going into 2019.

TBH I could never really get into AC. I tried to but the whole if you aren't playing it the game will remember and move on type thing. So yeah the game moving on type thing never really did much.
But I guess Isabella isn't a bad choice (even though Tom Nook would have been a better choice).
At least it wasn't generic blue hair swordsman and his infinite number of clones from generic waifu simulator disguised as a strategy RPG.
Advance Wars deserved better.

Apparently a photo from a publicity company (so they make ads), in which the complete "everyone is here" banner was shown, as well as a never-before-seen pic of battlefield, and unrelated also never-before-seen promo material for the upcoming Grinch movie. Supposed final roster includes: Ken, Shadow, Isaac, Mach Rider, Chorus Kids, Geno, and Banjo & Kazooie. IMO, meh. |

Ken, Shadow, Issac, Geno, and Banjo and Kazooie makes sense. as all of these guys are heavily requested and possible. but those 2 oddballs makes me suspect this. |
