Pretty sure most people already know about the recent announcement but just to be on the safe side.
What do you guys think about Joker (persona 5 protag) being announced as one of the DLC fighters?

I'm happy for the people who wanted him, but personally I'm just really, really confused. Unless this is a hint to a Switch port of Persona 5 or they're trying to promote Q2 extremely hard I'm not sure why they'd go with a character who's game is exclusive to the PS4. It also seems weird that the trailer didn't show any gameplay, I wonder exactly how much work they've done on him so far.

I was pleasantly surprise to see Joker announced as a DLC fighter. Even though when he was first announced I thought they were talking about Batman Joker.
Then again I am more use to hearing Joker being referred to as the main Batman villian. I keep on forgetting that's the Persona 5 protag's code name.
I really do hope this means that Persona 5 is coming to the Switch. The PS3 was able to handle it so the Switch should be able to.

He's one of those characters that shouldn't be in Smash, but somehow I'm still less bothered by him than Ryu, Ken and Cloud. |

Do you think the impossible could happen and we get Waluigi as the final DLC announced?
Joker was a pretty big surprise because it came completely out of left field.
Is there anyone left they can add that would be a complete shock on the level of Cloud or Joker?

I do Believe this leak is Fake due to the leaker adding in Dates, as not even Sakurai has access to the information on when they are announcing the DLC.

Erdrick and Ryu are plausible imo.
Steve and Doom Guy are too "meme of the moment" to be believable at the moment though.
They're Grinch-level bs
