Welcome to the Hordes of Vitcon, first edition. In this limited time event, you choose a hero to represent you and survive the waves of enemies as long as he can. If he reaches the end of the event, you get as much Vitcoins as the number of waves completed. There's nothing much more to it, so let's go to the rules:
1.Of course, you control the character you pick. This character will be who you play as for the duration of the event.
2.The first wave of enemies start on October 1st. Whichever wave is ongoing on December 12th will be the last wave. If that last wave hasn't ended around Christmas (December 23rd, 24th or 25th), Santa Claus will arrive and kill all the remaining enemies.
3.If you die, you can come back at the end of every waves, but you lose the privilege to use Vitcon's Vending Machine. If every players die on the same wave, the event is over and you get your Vitcoins. Of course, if you die on the last wave, you're dead for good. Surviving the last wave nets you 10 additional Vitcoins.
4.Every wave has 1 to 10 enemies.
5.You can use the Vitcon Vending Machine once between every waves, by putting something the enemies left behind inside it. The item you receive from the machine will only be usable for that wave. Enemy loot can only be used to be inserted into the machine. It cannot be used by your character.
6.If you don't use the machine, you can use any support/trap/non-offensive ability your character has between every wave, but only once before the wave starts.
7.The Vending Machine cannot be used during waves.
8.All playable characters have unlimited mana/stamina/PP/etc., unless they decide to limit themselves as a challenge.
9.Every wave ending in a "7" have very powerful enemies with various boosts. In other waves, some enemies might have a single boost.
10.Enemies will always do as much actions in one turn as the player who did the most actions in one post.
11.Because of the unlimited mana rule, if any player has healing capabilities, characters will not be healed between waves. If no player can heal, players will be healed at the end of each waves.
12.Rule specific to Pokemons: If a player play as a Pokemon, he has only 4 moves, but can change those 4 moves between each waves.
13.It is possible for certain enemies to show up multiple times during the event, wether in the same wave or not.
14.I do like Date Battles, but it or any mechanic similar to it is banned from this event
15.This is the first version of Hordes of Vitcon. If there are future versions, I might implement RP/Diplomacy, but for now, it is only combat based.
