TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! You both hurry along, through the passageway, towards the TOTEM LATHE.
2 minutes 5 seconds... 4 seconds... 3 seconds...
The passageways are winding and interesting, becoming narrower and wider at different points. You believe you're almost there, the passage is wide when...
IT'S your GREAT UNCLE! He's standing in your way. He seems confused, but irritated. Uh oh... Gotta think fast...
A)STRIFE! You can beat him quickly! B)Get your Sprite to cause a distraction! C)STRIFE! while your sprite gets the totem carved. D) Try to run past! E) Run away! F) Other

You look to your Sprite and are about to convey the message. They hold up a hand to you though.
CORAUNTSprite: Wi know ewactwy what to wo CORAUNTSprite: Make haste, my wear
With that, your sprite floats in front of your GREAT UNCLE. His face is thoroughly perplexed. He cocks his head from side to side. He seems to try and shuffle past, but your sprite blocks him, winking at you. This is your chance.
You make a MAD DASH towards the exit. Your GREAT UNCLE appears too confused to process and simply watches you go by. Ugh, you can only imagine the lecture you'll have to endure when this is all over. But alas, you've no time for the old man's lectures. You sprint out of the passageway and towards the Totem Lathe, which you find quickly. You slam the Pre-punched card into the machine, as well as place the totem. The machine comes to life, but its leisurely speed makes you nervous. You feel the ground shake again, this time much more violently. You hear glass shattering in another room.
You look out the nearest window. All you can see is a horizon of flames, closing in rather quickly. In fact, the sea of fire is already beginning to engulf the manor's base. You anxiety heightens.
As soon as the Totem Lathe comes to a stop, you grab the now carved Totem and sprint for the... uh.... what was it again...? Damnit, you never cave under pressure! Come on, what machine did you need to get to next....?
1 minute 14 seconds... 13 seconds...
A)Alchemiter, duh! Go through the manor! B)Alchemiter! Risk another encounter in the passageways. C)Back to the Crux Truder! Through the manor! D) Get to the Crux Truder via the passages! E) Stay here and ummm, do nothing? F) To your room! Time to hide in the blankets and cry. G) Other

It's the Alchemiter, but... uh... going through the currently becoming on fire manor seems less good than using the passages, probably. So B.

As you feel the atmosphere intensify with heat and pressure, you make a dash back for the tunnels.
You don't see your sprite or guardian where you left them. You head towards the Alchemiter... you think...? Damn it. You forgot that you don't actually know the tunnels that well! Still, you do your best, dashing through the passageways, though some of the areas are a bit too narrow to go fast. You find yourself peaking out of an exit more than once, trying to find the Alchemiter. You notice during one of your attempts that the outer bits of the manor are now ablaze with raging flames. You can feel time tick away...
Finally, you find it, the one. You sprint at your top speed to the Alchemiter and shove in the card, activating it. Your anxiety is unfathomable as you wait those precious seconds, hoping that it's not too late...
Then, upon the Alchemiter platform appears a sky blue, ethereal-looking... plushie...
You instantly know what must be done...
You leap, grabbing the plush into a STRONG embrace and practically suffocating the poor thing. Your eyes are clenched closed in stress... then peace.
You don't feel anything as the manor and everything in it, as well as the surrounding ground, is engulfed in light.
