Fuzz's thread

Whistle takes a moment to try to reflect on the strangely vivid dream he had before deciding he can worry about it later. Today's the big day he's heading out on his own, and he needs to get ready. After getting dressed he opens the chest with his belongings and takes out what he'll need. A hip-worn scabbard with a sword, a journal for copying interesting written information, some money, and a hurdy-gurdy. In particular the instrument was given to him last night as a parting gift when he said he wanted to leave, but as he looks at it he begins to have second thoughts. Eventually those too are pushed aside as he hooks the instrument onto himself, rotating the strap so that it rest on his back out of the way as he approaches the door. Still, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to wait until his mentor gets back so he can say goodbye, would it?

Whistle nods, a little sad but eager to leave all the same. He reaches out with one hand, offering his mentor a parting handshake.
(Question, is exact amount of money tracked or just a general "you have money/you don't have money" thing? If it's the former, how much do I have?)
