Okay, so just a bit of forewarning before hand. As I said before this comes form a previously built universe that I have been nurturing personally for many years. This is actually pretty big for a presentation. Like it's huge. A lot of stuff won't make sense. That because it's a lot of stuff is hinted at but not explained her for obvious reason.
Anyway this is my BEST VITCON
FANFICTION E3 TRAILER EVER. So let me down gently if it sucks. Ima baby. Also please ignore spelling errors and awkward (No not the guy) sentence structure I tried to edit but I suck
Please feel free to ask questions.

A frail man hurried down a set of crumbling stairs, a palid young man hurried after him. They could hear a deep pulsing that steadily grew louder.
“What is that noise, Doctor?!” The young man yelled as best he could.
“It doesn’t matter. We don’t have time! This way!” The old man wheezed, crashing through an unlocked door.
The boy followed him quickly. “Oh my…” He gasped as he set his eyes on the great stone obelisk that stood before him. A polished carving of a humanoid figure, if face was featureless, and dozens upon dozens of arms sprouted from it’s torso. Each arm wrapped around its body where it’s fingers splayed out, connected to taught stone lines that ended at the walls.
A great deal of machinery had been set up around the obelisk. “This way boy! Do as I say, quickly!” He commanded while tinkering with switches, wires and levers.
Without saying a word he took instructions and helped the old man complete his creation.
“ATTACH THE TRANSMITTER!” The old man screamed over the now deafening pulse of their encroaching foe. “THEY ARE ALMOST HERE! THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE!”
Not having to be told twice, the young man rushed to a huge black box and hooked a power cord and multiple smaller wired up to it before pulling a huge lever.
The old man struggled to turn a huge hand crank and for a moment the pulsing seemed to stop.
Then the young man saw what they had been fleeing from. Something passed through the wall to his left. A humanoid shadow that hovered off the ground. The very light around it dimmed as it hovered towards them.
The shadow let out a high pitched wail that seemed to daze both the young boy and the old doctor. The doctor struggled to stand up. “Young man… the crank… you must activate the device…” He gasped.
The boy stumbled towards the hand crank and weekly turned at it. The fiend lazily hovered towards the doctor. It stared into the doctor eyes and he grew translucent, and a clear liquid began to seep out of the the human and into the dark eyes of the shadow.
Fear gripped his very being, and the young man put every ounce of strength he had left into pulling the crank. He heard a click. And the machine buzzed to life. Gears turned and servos whirred and a huge wavering beam of light pulsed out of the statue, hitting the shadow
The doctor was saved! His body seemed to return to normal. The Shadow Let out a crazed wail before it dispersed.
“Doctor, is everything okay?” The young man cried as he ran towards the elderly human.
“Who… who are you… How did I get here?”
“Doctor, what do you mean?!” The young man asked, but he had already fallen unconscious. “What do I do know?” He asked himself.
He sat the doctor down as close to the statue as he could before noticing the doctors electronic field journal. He activated it.
The most recent entry read
“This is Doctor Jensen. This will likely be my last journal entry. My assistant and I will be heading to the Shrine of the Shapeless in the Timeless. I do not know the device is ready yet. If everything goes according to plan, this Obelisk will awaken and we will be able to summon the Shapeless to help us.
The Proto Machina have sabotaged all of our ships. The Yhovikt are rising from the crematoriums and gravewells thanks to the efforts of their masters, the Selts-Taaba. There is no way off world and the Hjuuntus Yppx has its disciples everywhere.
If anyone can save us… it is the Shapeless.”
As the young man read that final word, an audible crack echoed through the room. He looked up at the obelisk and saw a single crack had appeared on it’s featureless face, and it oozed some sort of pulsing clear liquid.
=====
Somewhere, in the distance away from the safety of the shrine and the scared assistant, who was currently wondering what he had gotten himself into, another shrine came to life. Cracks spread across it’s body, each crack bled a clear liquid that oozed to the ground.
It pooled in a shallow indenture in the ground before it began to take shape. A humanoid figure for a moment. It’s body took on a dark green, veiny appearance, a single hole sat in the center of it’s “Head”.
It looked about curiously, before it left the room. Not sure what to do, it began to wander aimlessly about the city. Then it came upon a grate, not unlike the ones that would cover the entrances to prison or sewers.
IT could see a pale head with two tired eyes staring at him. “Oh. You aren’t like the others I’ve seen. There’s something different about you, isn’t there? I haven’t seen one of your kind in ages. You are shapeless, a lost being, a traveler in the dark. You and I are kindred souls.”
The Shapeless stared curiously at the pale creature. “Oh me? I am the last of Oborundr. If you’re curious, it means Those Without Shelter. You may simply call me Oborund. Once, we had great power, but we squandered.”
The shapeless creature seemed to stare at him for a moment longer. “Oh, if you would stay and listen… I will tell you something important. It has been quite a time since I’ve had anyone to talk to. This world… is dying. Once it was a paradise, a great world for humans, but the Hjuuntus Yppx devours all. And this world… he always comes back to this place…”
As the shapeless began to walk away, thoughts swirling through its head.
“Don’t worry about me… I will stay here where it is safe, and dark and cool. However… You are in much danger… You must carve your path through this world… You should try to find the humans… I’m sure they could use your power…”
As the shapeless moves away, Oborund seems to look straight at you. “Ah yes… You… You don’t understand what you’ve gotten yourself into do you? Great powers converge on this world. Hjuuntus Yppx covets the power of the strings, the shapeless walk the land once again, and shadows rise from empty vessels of man. Even their loyal machines turn against them, smiting their masters as they to covet Shelter and even the agony of being alive.”
“But you alone can stop them… if you so choose to… or maybe you will choose to find Shelter like I have, and await the end of the world in somewhere dark, safe and cool…”
=======
At the center of the timeless city a huge battle rages. Another shapeless fights against The Sheltered. The unnamed Shapeless speeds around a gray structure. This shapeless is black and gray, it’s body splotchy and solid. It’s head is bird like and it’s hands feature many misshapen digits.
A extraordinarily pale creature with six arms, each one holding a charred organ walks with inhuman speed around the side of the structure. It’s luminescent amber eyes lock onto the shapeless. It says something unrecognizable, it’s deep voice reverberating through the city.
The shapeless barely manages to roll out of the way before the ground suddenly caves in with explosive force. The pale monster quickly follows. It begins to utter another string of what sounds like gibberish before the shapeless lets loose a volley of pulsating blue tendrils from it’s chest. A few of them penetrates it’s targets body. But the creature is unfazed as it continues its rumbling.
It’s lets out one final syllable before the poor shapeless is crushed into a blivion, along with the ground beneath its feet. The shapeless looks up at the palid beast for a few moments, it’s vision wavering, as it’s very body boils and evaporates.
The beast moves away faster than one could comprehend while letting out more of it’s deep droning speech.
The shapeless sees darkness for a time. Then a golden arm reaches out of the darkness to grip it, disturbing the darkness and sending ripples through it. Then another. Then another, then another. And before long a million perfectly golden arms gripping onto every inch of its Existence.
It had witnessed this scene a million times, again and again.
Before the lost traveler in the dark knew what was happening, it was alive once more, the shadow a faceless obelisk watching over him.
“Once we had great power, but we lost our shelter and our purpose, and we became shapeless. So, in times long past, we arose to fight those who would devour the unstoppable power of The Strings, and use them to shape the very being of the universe. These creatures, like so many others, would die out. And the shapeless, having found a purpose, ceased to be shapeless. They aged and died like the rest. We left these great obelisks to remind Those of great Shelter that we would be ever watching.
The world was pure… for a time. The shapeless disappeared from the minds of all those who were meant to exist. Dissenters worshipped us at our great obelisks. Then, the fabric of reality began to rot once again, and the shapeless would wonder the universe, lost, and a great and powerful being, The Hjuuntus Yppx, rose from the shadow of its own soul. It intertwined with the core of existence and set out to devour The Strings.
The shapeless rise once again. We are separate from the power of the strings, and derive our ever growing strength from pure existence alone, and we alone can fight the power of the Hjuuntus Yppx, who even as we speak leaves entire realities and timelines devoid of life in it’s lust for ultimate power.
But there is one thing I could never understand
Why is it always this planet? Why always this place? We all converge here in the end. We all die and fight again and again here. For what? Maybe this universe… it isn’t worth saving again.”
For a moment the screen is black. Then in the deep amber color of the Hjuuntus Yppx, two single words can be seen.
VIKARUS SYNDROME
=====
Okay, same name as a previous game I tried to do. BUT NOT A REBOOT. It's a universal overhaul. I promise. This is a completely different thing and I have a whole universe with lore and direction.
