As you awaken, you find yourself in a small courtyard with 4 branching paths, ivory buildings of dozens of different designs arch high into the air, you can hear the wind whistling through them. All is quite, until you notice a pale face peering curiously at you through a barred window at the bottom of the building. His pale face and golden eyes looks uncannily familiar, but you just can't place it, somehow, as you look deep into it's eyes, it's face seems to mirror yours for a single moment. As you try to look away, his face returns to normal. What were you thinking about?
Ah yes, you remember now... The Hjuuntus Yppx, Vikarus... Your sworn duty...
"Ah, so you four have gathered here, before me." A pair of golden eyes and a pale face peaks out from in between the bars of the grate that he hides behind. You don't know what kind of creature he is. Maybe it's better you don't?
"I shall help you as best I can, but this duty is yours, and yours alone."
"First, I shall tell you some simple tricks to help you along the way. You may find yourself at a loss of direction or proper information. If you properly observe your surroundings you can gain more information, you might even gain more information than you ever wanted to know..."

Use them as you will to move forward, there are beasts far darker than you or I could imagine lurking these dark streets..."
"Finally, I will give you a direction. I do not know much more than you, only that you must stop the Hjuuntus Yppx and that you must not perish. We must first gather more information on the Hjuuntus Yppx. to garner this information you will need to uplink to the Global Overmind Defensive Satellite system, or "G.O.D." as the inhabitants of this world once called it. There is only one place that it is possible to send an uplink signal... In the floating mountains of Allae'Alaysiunm. However, matters have been complicated by a world wide power outage. It is not possible to access the mountains without power. The micro-warp simply will not function without it. To turn the power back on, you must traverse the inner workings of this world, the Undercity before you may reach the Geothermal Node, located many miles into the earth, beneath this very city."
He pauses for a moment to think.
"However, I urge you not to leave this city just yet, for there are a few things you will need. I believe a scientist and his young assistant passed by here with the very objects you require. Down the corridor to the left, you will find a shrine of the ancient shapeless, where the two humans currently reside within the watchful eye of the Obelisk. You must head to the shrine and help them immediately."
As if on queue a terrified cry echoed from down the corridor.
