I was thinking of doing a character that was mostly human but had cybernetic enchantments.
There right arm was injured in an accident so they got a new robotic, swiss army like right arm.
Could something like that work?
Nevermind?
I was thinking of doing a Swords woman type class? Melee focused?

Two Characters of the same class can play completely different.
Also I know I said this would start today but work has held me by the neck.

You can do whatever for basoc attacks as long as it fits the class. and I give you options for special attacks or skills as they are called, based on your race, class, and a option for a skill for the two combined.

One last question (or two, but both about the same thing). Do summoners call in something to do one attack and then leave, or call in a summon that stays to fight alongside them? Similarly, is the summoner entirely helpless on their own or do they have abilities of their own to use as well, possibly with an emphasis on supporting their summon assuming the summon is in fact more than a one and done attack? Depending on the answers I’m probably going with either a Summoner or an Arcane Mage, with Arcane as the elemental bias either way. Actually, I can get the rest of the signup done as soon as I come up with a good name.

Actually, I can get the rest of the signup done as soon as I come up with a good name. That would depend on how you want to build a summoner. Some summoner have Weapons more fit for other classes to cover weaknesses. while other decide to min-max the summon minions. The way you want summons to work again depends on the playstyle. some summons like Pokemon or terraria summons(The class itself is inspired by the latter) for example stay in the fight while other summons only show up for one attack simular to final fantasy summons.

Summoner it is then with summons that stay in the fight, I’ll try to have his own spells focus mainly on healing and support while leaving the damage primarily to the summons but with some damage dealing spells of his own so he’s not completely defenseless (although the damage dealing ones should probably be at least a little weaker to compensate for having a pet) and has something to do when no heals or buffs are needed. His weapon is a staff. Incoming signup.

Username: Idhrenor Gender: Male Race: Arcane Elf (fairly standard fantasy elf, but with glowing lines of magic flowing across their bodies. These lines glow a dim white most of the time, but glow brightly along with their eyes when casting magic). Appearance: Not much is actually visible about Idhrenor’s character due to the blue robe with gold trim that he wears. From what can be seen under the hood he has blue eyes, a few of the aforementioned glowing lines on his face, and no visible hair except a short gray beard. He carries a walking staff with him which doubles as his weapon. Element Bias: Arcane Class: Summoner What are you: Player
