---Sunday, Day 1--- Tight DanYour school project acceptation came in this morning with some very peculiar information... Your school will be built near an old west town, which is protected as a tourist area. You drive past the town in question and get to your destination 10 minutes after passing the historical attraction. The area looks like an empty wasteland, but there's 2 picnic tables. On the first one, there's what looks like a business man with a funky mustache and a top hat... He fits the description you had of THE DIRECTOR. On the second table sits a man with brown hair tied into a ponytail, a poorly shaved beard and glasses a bit too big for his face. He's wearing a leather jacket with a black shirt under it and some jeans with what looks like paint stains of various colors. THE DIRECTOR stands up, walks to you and shakes your hand. "Welcome, Sheriff Deadeye! You must have so many questions... Thankfully for you, I had to pick you as the one I'd meet myself... More on that later. For now, I'll let you decide if you want to start with the paperwork and sit with me, or sit with Stainberg and have your school built in front of your face first. Or maybe you want to get rid of THOSE guys?" He points towards a truck in the distance. You can read "THE HERO" on it. It seems to be a camera crew, preparing themselves. Journalists, probably. |

Deadeye's easy smile drops for a moment as he notices the journalists adjusting his hat as he replies "Well I reckon if the point of this endeavor is to restore the public's trust we'll need the press on our side I'll go chat wit em be back in a giffy and we can get down to business" he says before making his way over to the truck.
Deadeye flashes the camera a smile as he approaches "Why heelo there fine folks of the 'Ero welcome to the future sight of a fine place of learning headed by yours truly this initiative is our community taking steps so future grand protectors can be kept from the cruel fate of becoming the monsters they fight so hard to protect you fine folks from" he says solemnly taking a moment for his words to set in before changing tone "But I was talking about the future so let me make myself clear while you are more then welcome to be here for now I don't want to find any of y'all snooping around when the students get here they're coming to learn not to be interrogated" He accentuates this last point by idly spinning the chamber on his holstered revolver
Deadeye's nods self-confirming "Now you folks got me fer another..... 10 minutes so if yous got any further queries now would be the time"

As Deadeye approaches the car, he can see the preparation team get nervous. They go in and out of the news van, trying to set everything up as fast as they can.
A black man with shaved hair, sunglasses and a fancy white buttoned shirt signals them to slow down, as he takes a notebook and a pen out of his shirt pocket.
"It's fine guys, no need for the mic. I'll write down the important."
The preparation team drop everything and start the one camera that is ready, just in time for Deadeye to smile at it.

The journalist glances at the revolver in a disapproving fashion, but doesn't make much of it, as the weapon is not pointed at anyone.
"Well, I'm glad to meet you. You are mister Deadeye I suppose? Let me present myself. Darion Shays, journalist. I would have a lot of question for you, but let's talk about the elephant in the room you just created..."
He writes something in his notebook, probably the speech you just gave when you arrived.
"From what I understand you want to teach self-control right? I can understand that your students are powered individuals, but are you really gonna teach self-control with a gun visibly holstered to your belt?"

Shays writes down Deadeye's response while he talks, nodding to acknowledge he is listening. "Well... Wether you're right or not will be the public's discussion... But I wasn't really here to talk about firearms... The opening of your school has caused a mass arrival of time travelers, whose goals are to attend this school. People are blaming you for this massive time fluctuation, which according to specialists will unleash a Time Beast upon us soon. Now, from my understanding, you've dealt with those before, considering your nemesis is usually the cause of them appearing. However, also from my understanding, the only time you'll be allowed to do hero stuff now is on saturdays. Which means that you will only be able to deal with the oncoming Time Beast if it appears on Saturday. Do you have anything to say on the subject to our population?" |

Deadeyes spits in the dirt "Yeah I herd somtin along dem lines and the people should know I'm better equipped than evr to wrangle them time beasties trust me I'm going to be running a hands on curriculum" He says adjustin his hat "If there's anyon who knows a thing or two about securing our futur it's me and no one's graduatin this school without havin the experience, skills, and values needed to make sure though the timeline may ben it'll nevr break, that's a Deadeyes guarantee"

Jeremiah ponders the question taking a long glance behind at the picnic tables before answering "Well it's a lot of things really a precau'tion, a prom'ise, a legacy but, most of all it's a way forward for a long time ther ain't never been places wher people like me can lern saftly so we took to ourselves what the folks at home may not understand is that we'rer not just compatriots who fight for the same creed we're a community an just like any community sometimes we get stuc in our ways but, thats about to change there will always be a place for home-grown talent and prodigies but, here an in other schools jus like it we're gonna nurture a new type of hero a better prepared kind a kind that will show the people we seek to protect that they can still trust us because without trust were all doomd" He replies
