I've been thinking for a minute ya'll, I just wanted to talk about how certain games have had life changing experiences on me. There's only been a few rare games that I doubt I will probably ever forget... Dark souls (The first one), LISA, Soma and Amnesia, just to name a few. I mean, sure I've played a lot of games in my life, and a lot of them were awesome. I loved playing them, But only a select few games have left me with such a shell shocked feeling at the end. I've always wondered why that is, and I came to the conclusion that it was because they were incredibly genuine. I'm not really sure why. Sometimes the characters were so meaningful in a such a simple way that they were easy to connect with on a deeper level, or maybe the journey has had a spiritual impact on you in some way that you hadn't expected or even asked for, yet experienced anyway. I don't know. It's difficult to place an emotion like that.
Anyway, What games have you guys played that still sit in your soul today and have had life changing experiences on you? Why do you think that is.

You can really tell if a game has effort and love put behind it. It registers with you. For me, Suda51 games all tend to have that effect on me, especially his earlier stuff.
