I know I'm voting for a lost cause by picking Resistance, but let me explain why I'm not voting Pokemon.
Is it because I'm salty that it disappointed me since gen 6?
Not, that's not it.
Now, Resistance 2 is in my top 10 games of all time, but I think the first game aged badly and the third game has some tropes I really hate. Yet, I still replay the whole trilogy more or less once a year.
Pokemon though? While I loved the original back in the days, Gen 5 as a whole, Leaf Green and Platinum, I never replayed any Pokemon game ever, excluding Pokemon Snap. I don't know why, I never felt like replaying a Pokemon game... I think I did replay Black or White 2, but I gave up because of Surf backtracking, didn't want to do it.
Anyway, I'm voting Resistance, because they are games I keep replaying again and again, while Pokemon games are one-off experiences for me.
