The long fields feel rather hot as the sun beats down upon all who are there. The Pokemon signed up for the mission are already starting to sweat. They were told that in this place, sometimes the tall grass combusts because of the heat. That's where the name comes from!
Team Trio waits there. They don't seem to notice the Pokemon since their way smaller than Team Trio. There's a Venusaur, a Blastoise, and...their leader, Charizard.

Clyde will float up to their faces.
"Hmm... You all look rather experienced.

The Charizard looks over at Clyde a moment before bursting out into laughter.
Char: Hahahaha! You're a cute little guy! We didn't miss you, we were just a little busy. If you take a moment to look out at the Mystery Zone before charging into it, you might do a better job of exploring it. Anyway, my name is Char. That's Blast and Saur. We're Team Trio and we'll be showing you some ways to expertly explore Mystery Zones. Are you ready?
Charcoal: Yeah, I'm ready. Let's just get to the fighting already.

Char: This place is very hot. Mostly fire type Pokemon and Pokemon that like heat are here, but there have been Shadow Pokemon spotted here recently. Our job is get them out of here. The source should be in the center of the field. Be careful though, this grass is known to catch on fire if it gets too hot. This zone will usually damage any non fire type Pokemon caught in the flaming grass. It shouldn't end up doing that as long as we avoid using fire type moves though. If that event does occur, I'd suggest you fly up away from the ground, okay? Any other questions?
Charcoal: No more questions! I wanna get training already!

The group ventures on into the tall grass, watching carefully for opponents. Shortly after walking through, they see a couple of Fearow flying nearby. They aren't ordinary Fearow either. They're Shadow Fearow. The two seem to be searching the field for something overhead when they notice the explorers. The two Fearow fly down, prepared to fight!
Char: Now is a good time to teach you two about team attacks. These are when you combine moves together to make them stronger. I'll let Blast and Saur show you.
The Blastoise and Venusaur step toward the Fearow. Blast fires water from their cannons at the Fearow as Saur unleashes a Poison Powder withing the water. When the attack hits the Fearow, it's both damaged and poisoned at the same time with stronger effects.
Char: See? That's just one form of a combination attack though. Why don't you try it out with your friend?

Clyde and Charcoal charge toward the Fearow as Clyde wraps around Charcoal. Charcoal leaps up and scratches at the Fearow as Clyde holds Charcoal up in the air. The Fearow is defeated from the attack and dissolves. Then Saur knocks up the other Fearow into the air.
Char: Alright, now finish off that last Fearow with a fire type attack! Since it's up in the air, the grass should be safe.
