Charcoal spits out a flame at the Fearow as Char mixes his Flamethrower in it and the two defeat the shadow with the team attack.
Char: Very well done you two! I think you're starting to get the hang of team attacks. Do you have any questions?

Everyone continues on as Char tells the two more about exploring.
Char: There's more to exploring than just fighting though. You need to know how to use your surroundings to your advantage.
As they walk, five Shadow Litleo jump out of the grass.
Char: This is a great chance to show you! Alright, I want you to light the grass, Charcoal, and I want you to carry him up in the air to avoid the combustion, Clyde. Don't worry about us big guys, we'll be alright.

Clyde carries Charcoal up into the air as the grass is ignited, causing fire to blaze through the area, wiping out the shadows. Char flies up in the air carrying Saur as Blast douses the flames around himself. Blast then performs a mystical dance as it rains, causing the fire to go out.
Char: Nice work out there! I can tell a powerful shadow is ahead. I want you to use everything you've learned. Don't worry, we'll be here if it gets out of hand.
Clyde and Charcoal continue on to a clearing in the grass. There, a large Boulder sits as a Shadow Pyroar stares down the two, glaring at them.
Char: A good setup will always help too. This rain weakens Pyroar, so you don't have to worry about taking too much damage.

Okay, I think I'm good. Clyde will use Minimize and float around Pyroar like a wasp.

Clyde flies around Pyroar like a wasp after using Minimize and Charcoal uses a simple Ember attack, but Pyroar uses Flamethrower, blazing through the small Drifloon and hitting Charcoal as well. Clyde ends up with a little more than half of his health gauge on the badge, but Charcoal only loses about a fourth.
Char: You're going to have to work together on this. Seperate attacks won't do as well on Pyroar. Use the tactica we taught you!
(This is actually something I'm implementing in harder zones. Using only a basic attack without certain strategies or tactics in place will lead them to be pretty much unaffected.)

I don't know any "tactica" bruh
Clyde will attempt to flank Pyroar and use Constrict on its hind legs, allowing Charcoal to deal some damage while it's wrapped up.

Clyde float to the side of Pyroar, tangling himself around it's legs as it effectively trips him. Charcoal then takes this chance to scratch Pyroar a few times before Pyroar shakes off Clyde blasts Charcoal back with another Flamethrower. Charcoal's gauge falls to yellow.
