Velvet Room (Vitpuppy's Home base)

Poulter pup enters the room where Vitpuppy is fast asleep. Vitpuppy warned everyone not to wake him unless absolutely necessary. He's not very pleasant when he first awakens. Vitpuppy is also a very heavy sleeper and only certain things can rouse him from his sleep.

Poulterpup was one of those things that could wake him easily. Poulterpup is also a very good boy and is one of the few people who can wake Vitpuppy. Poultrrpup knows exactly how to wake him and proceeds to give him a big old lick across his face.

"Five more minutes please,"

Vitpuppy mumbles before tossing over in his sleep. Vitpuppy has the unique ability to understand Poulterpup. While everyone else would hear varouis puppy and dog noises. Vitpuppy can understand what he is trying to say.

"(Hey Master time to wake up),". "(Ball thing all glowy),". "(You said wake you when it glows),". "(Come on get up),". "(Come on, Come on)," Poulterpup tells Vitpuppy.

Vitpuppy turns over to face his true self Poulter and looks at him. The room is still dark so it's hard to see what Vitpuppy looks like. One thing is that the hood he wears disguises his voice to make him sound like Igor (from the Persona series). When he isn't wearing his hood he sounds like a normal human male. His voice may be a bit deeper then most but nothing that someone would describe as odd.

"Sigh so it's already that time huh,". "Guess I have to go get the big lug,". "Hey can you fetch me my stuff?" Vitpuppy asks Poulterpup.

"(Huh why so da Master)?". "(Bowser already knows your true identity),". "(Not like you have to hide who you are)," Poulterpup says with a confused look.

"You know I have to be careful with who see's me,". "I can't even reveal my identity to our guest,". "Well not right away yet,". "They need to prove themselves first,". "Besides, even when I was asleep I could sense their movements,". "It wouldn't be long now before our foes make their move,". "I can already tell they found out where I buried that thing," Vitpuppy tells his loyal pup.

"(Oh okay),". "(So should I tell Anna and Eve to get ready)?" Poulterpup asks.

"Yeah I will be right their just have to take care of Bowser first," Vitpuppy replies.

Poulterpup fetches his masters cloak and hood that he wears plus the gauntlet he wears over his left hand and arm. The hood hides the face of Poulterpup and disguises his voice. The cloak covers him from head to toe and cloaks his fluffy tail (picture him with the tail of Eevee). Underneath his cloak he just wears a basic T shirt and a pair of jeans plus a pair of sneakers. Finally Vitpuppy wears what looks like a blue gauntlet over his left arm.

The gauntlet is used to protect the wrappings around his arm which keeps his Left Hand covered. Vitpuppy was experimenting with different technology when an unfortunate accident happened. Vitpuppy's left hand now has a tiny black hole in the center of his palm. Anything caught in it becomes encased in an egg which he can then launch at his foes. Unfortunately the black hole can also suck in allies to. One day when Vitpuppy was out and about he encountered someone who could seal the black hole. A blue cloth is wrapped around his left arm along with a pair of beads that criss cross over his hand.

"Welp thank you Poulterpup,". "Before I go whose a good boy,". "Whose a good boy," Vitpuppy begins rubbing the belly of Poulterpup.

Poulterpup begins to kick his back legs. Vitpuppy finishes petting Poulterpup before getting ready. Vitpuppy puts on his cloak, gauntlet, and finally he puts on his hood.

"Well my loyal friend it's almost showtime," Vitpuppy tells Poulterpup.

Vitpuppy summons what looks like a Blue door in his room. Vitpuppy steps through the door which leads to the entrance of Bowser's castle. Poulterpup proceeds to go back to the room where Anna and Eve are.

"Is this thing on?".

Vitpuppy asks tapping the crystal ball twice. Anna joins Vitpuppy on his right side. Poulterpup is on one side of the orb and he's looking towards something. Eve the Eevee is on the other side of the orb and seems to be looking in the same direction. Vitpuppy takes sometime to clear his throat and makes sure his hood is up.

"Why hello their,". "My name is Vitpuppy and this here is my humble base The Velvet Room,". "The Velvet Room is a place between mind and matter,". "A place between mind and matter,". "Only those that are destined to enter into a Vitcontract may enter this room,".

Vitpuppy seems to be making a gesture towards you.

"Oh yes where are my matters I am Vitpuppy,". "You could say I am the ruler of this world,". "Yet ruler seems way to formal,". "So instead let's just say I am the GM of this world,". "My job is to aid those that have entered into a Vitcontract and help guide them on their journey,". "Who knows maybe you are the ones that can help me to save the world?". "But alas time will tell,"

Vitpuppy rubs his head almost like he seems like he is forgetting to mention something.

"Eevee vee ve ve Eve Ve ve," Eve tells Vitpuppy.

"Oh right I guess should explain Vircontracts and all that stuff," Vitpuppy then moves his hand over the crystal ball.

Vitpuppy notices some sparks upon his crystal ball. He almost seems surprised that some of the sparks are showing up. Almost like he wasn't expecting them to show up.

"Hmm most interesting,". "It seems like some of you have already acquired your orbs,". "Most interesting indeed,". "I planned on giving to you after our little trial,". "Most strange indeed,". "Even I am unsure what this could mean but worry not,". "I wonder does this mean,".

Vitpuppy starts to trail off almost like he is thinking of something.

"Oh nevermind me,". "I just had a thought,". "Sorry about that,".

Vitpuppy then grabs what looks like an orb but it seems to shine in the color of the Rainbow.

"Well as some of you already have aquired,". "This here is an orb and in a sense it's your connection to the world of Vitquest,". "Not only will this hold any items you aquire on your journey,". "But it will also hold items you aquire from something called a vending machine,". "At first the inventory space for vending machines will be limited,". "But over time that capacity will increase,".

"Also by acquiring these orbs you have also gain access to certain abilities,". "Whether they are natural born or acquired from the orb,". "These are what we will call your starting abilites,". "Now then as you continue on your journey you may find ways to make your abilites more powerful or aquire even new abilities,".

"Finally, these orbs will be how you contact one another,". "Any NPCs that you been friendly with,". "With any of the Anna's in your base,". "More on that later,". "Or with yours truly," Vitpuppy chuckles at that last statement.

Vitpuppy seems awfully pleased about what he has said so far. Vitpuppy then holds up his orb and it seems to be focusing on it. Upon closer inspection the orb although it's whole. The orb seems to be lacking something.

"Now then as far as your quest,". "You see these orbs were once vibrant and full of light,". "Yet due to the world constantly setting and resetting,". "The orbs have gradually lost their luster,". "Now they appear to be whole but in fact shards of their powers have been scatter through out this world,". "By acquiring these shards of power for your orb,". "You will not only help restore power to your orb,". "But you will be able to aquire new abilities and your ability to store more items fron the vending machine will also increase,".

Vitpuppy then places his orb away and motions towards Anna, Poulterpup, and Eve.

"Now then a quick break if you will then I shall explain the roles of everyone you see here," Vitpuppy says.

Vitpuppy having started the trials of each individual Vitcontract members. Vitpuppy is watching how the trials going through the crystal ball. When he notices, something completely wrong with two of the trials.

"How did they?". "No one other then me and the individual Orb holder are suppose to know,". "Yet how did Chlorltes and Him get in their,". "This isn't good at all,". "If I don't do something quickly,".

Vitpuppy seems to be highly concerned about what is going on. Vitpuppy snaps his fingers and a door appears in the Velvet Room. As he is about to get up Anna is quick to stop him.

"You can't go,". "No matter how dire the situation seems,". "You can't interfere in the trials," Anna warns him.

"But I can't have the Hat dood go against Sephirtoh of all people,". "Plus Vance is going against Fawful's number one General,". "They were not suppose to be their,". "At least with the others I have control of the visions they see,". "Even with Bowser I placed restrictions on him plus he is my partner,". "But Chlortles and Sephiroth they are beyond my control," Vitpuppy tells Anna.

Anna remains firm in not letting Vitpuppy leave the Velvet Room.

"It's for that reason you can't leave,". "If you leave now,". "Who knows what will happen to the others?". "They could be trapped in an eternal slumber from which they would never awaken,". "Plus the visions their facing could gain a will of their own,". "The results could be catastrophic for everyone," Anna reminds Vitpuppy.

Vitpuppy slams his fist onto the table in frustration. He knows that Anna is right and like it or not he can't leave. Vitpuppy can't even send Bowser to go aid in the fight. Since Bowser is in the middle of an encounter of his own.

"Dam it I should have known,". "I thought it was odd that some of them got their orbs early,". "I should have know he was behind it,". "It's probably how Sephirtoh and Chlortles were able to find them,". "What about you Anna can you go?" Vitpuppy asks Anna.

"Sorry boss no can do,". "If I was to reveal myself it could only,". "Well let's say it would only complicate matters,". "Besides my powers haven't completely awaken yet," Anna tells Vitpuppy.

"Sigh it would be bad if I sent you without being in full strength,". "Since he would sense you right away,". "At least Bowser is completely awakened,". "Plus I don't think he try to make any moves unless both you and Bowser were present and vulnerable,". "Dammit,". "It sucks I can't go to save those Vit contract holders without putting everyone in danger," Vitpuppy sighs.

Vitpuppy seems visibly upset and Eve and Poulter pup seem to pick up on it.

"Ve Vee Eve Eev,". "Eevee ve ve,". "Vee, Eve, Eev, Eevee Eve," Eve tells Vitpuppy.

"(Well couldn't you always send in their partners to assist them?)". "(They already share their fate with them),". "(Plus it may not necessarily throw off the balance)," Poulterpup suggests.

Vitpuppy seems to perk up a bit at the suggestion.

"What was that?" Anna asks.

"Poulter pup just gave me a great idea," Vitpuppy replies.

"Huh it just sounded like he was barking and making dog noises to me," Anna says.

"You forget I can understand him,". "To me he was talking just as clearly as me and you,". "He might have solved our current dilemma," Vitpuppy says to Anna.

"Right completely forgot,". "So what did he suggest?" Anna asks.

"As you know their are others that share the same fate,". "These individuals share the same destiny as those that sign the contracts,". "So by summoning them to aid in their trials,". "It wouldn't necessarily upset the balance,". "But that plan also comes with risks,".

"Summoning the orbs and Eve's Brother or Sister to aid them is one thing,". "They are connected to me so summoning them is really easy,". "Plus they can appear whenever because they are a part of me in a sense,". "But summoning someone outside of my control is a bit more difficult,". "The process would be longer and it would require more concentration,". "Plus well I am unsure if I can summon an assist character,". "But it could be our only course of action,".

Vitpuppy seems to be deep in thought thinking about what to do.

Eve seems concerned about Vitpuppy but then she notices the crystal ball shine again.

"Eevee eve ve vee eev ve ev ev vee," Eve barks towards Vitpuppy.

"Huh so we have another that's entered into a Vitcontract,". "Hmm well first things first,". "I need to set up this individual with a trial of his own,". "When his trial starts I need to begin the process of sending Vance and Hat dood their partners," Vitpuppy seems awfully focused.

"I will lend you whatever strength I can sir," Anna replied.

"Thanks Anna,". "Geez this is going to be a long evening,". "Of course when I first woke up to,". "Sometimes this is such a drag," Vitpuppy laments.

"What no no no no that's really bad,".

Vitpuppy is just observing what happened with Dan and Kamoshidaman.

"I was afraid of this happening,". "But I just had to,". "Why is this happening?".

Vitpuppy is clutching his head and everyone else in the Velvet Room is taking notice.

"I am such a fool,". "Now those three are suffering because of my negligence,". "If only," Vitpuppy is having a hard talking.

Vitpuppies voice is starting to shift from his disguise voice. Instead of sounding like Igor (from Persona 3 and 4) his voice is starting to return to normal. Yet his voice is starting to become darker, almost sinister in a sense. A very slight dark aura is can be sense forming within Vitpuppy.

"Eve, Vitpuppy you know what to do," Anna tells the two.

Eve and Vitpuppy hop into action almost like they were trained for this situation. Eve begins by jumping right into Vitpuppy almost as to knock the air out of him. Ghoul the Poulter pup goes ahead and gives Vitpuppy a nice big lick across his face.

Vitpuppy is still unsure oh what's gotten into Eve and Ghoul. Ana takes the opportunity to summon a tiny ball of light and sends straight into Vitpuppy. Vitpuppy feels the light spread throughout him and he's instantly calmed down.

"It was happening again wasn't it?" Vitpuppy shamefully asks Anna.

"Yeah it was very faint but I could tell,". "You have to get a hold of yourself,". "Not only because your in direct control of these trials and it can have dire consequences,". "But you know what happened if you allow that darkness to become too powerful or to unchecked,".

Anna seems to be warning Vitpuppy in a firm but friendly matter.

"It's a good thing Eve and Ghoul here know what to do to distract you long enough," Anna tells Vitpuppy.

"Sorry guys," Vitpuppy seems to be remorseful.

"Well Dan may be in a rough situation but something big is going to happen,". "You have the stuff ready right?" Anna asks Vitpuppy.

"Oh right yeah get Eevee and his orb ready for summoning,". "I don't know how much more he can hang on,". "But I hope he can hold out just a bit longer,". "Huh what's she doing here,". "Wait a moment huh?". "Oh it seems like Lord Hyness'es interference created a miracle of sorts,".

Vitpuupy seems to be almost pleased by the turn of events.

"Phew that was a close one guys,". "We have to keep an eye on him,". "If those negative emotions get the best of him,". "The entire multiverse is doomed if that happens," Anna says to Eve and Ghoul.
