Rishan is barely paying attention to the bug hunt taking the opportunity to instead familiarize themselves better with the woods and also get in target practice with Telekinetic Shot

Selfless searches for more bugs, once again struggling to locate anything in the forest of note to capture. Eventually, after a use of telekinetic shot bounces from a tree, Selfless turns to Rishan.
"Is that not a tactical error, which scares away the insects?" Selfless asks. "Are you not here to enjoy youth?"

Rishan shakes their head "Of course not you see bugs are quite adept at hiding so are easy to just pass by if you let them but, they also aren't very intelligent or brave so will be easily lured out of hiding if one is careful with their timing"

Selfless takes a long pause, gazing off into the horizon. "It seems that there are fewer insects present than the humidity and abundance of flora would indicate. Perhaps it is related even to the controlled use of magic. This is sub-optimal for 'enjoyment of youth'."
Selfless does not wait to continue trudging along, digging through the grass and upturning a rock planted in the soil.
"Nothing. Moving on."

Rishan walks along bemused "My friend do you not think that you are going about this the wrong way? I believe that it is not the actual catching of the bugs that you are supposed to find enjoyment in but, the frivolous nature of the hunt which is supposed to be fun in and of itself" They begin juggling the discarded rock with consecutive uses of telekinetic shot

Selfless comes to a dead stop, hooded head tilting for a moment.
After a long pause, Selfless speaks with a harsher tone. "Frivolty... Frivolty is enjoyment of youth? Rishan frivolously uses magic. Practice is not frivolous, but overuse of magic drains the body and soul. Overuse of magic is dangerous. Those who overuse magic will be eliminated, one way or another. Refrain from doing that further."

Rishan's expression shifts grimly, they lean forward and flick Selfless's forehead "I am well aware of the drain of magic that's why I'm here and" They gesture to the additional stones that have joined the original in it's rotation "Is me practicing control so please don't get all mysteri-serious on me and let's get back to figuring out how to get you to enjoy yourself"

"Enjoy... 'yourself'?" Selfless asks, confused. "Enjoyment... Of youth. Yes. The staff have equated this to bug-catching. There is a shortage of insects in this area. Therefore... Other frivolous action may suffice?"
Selfless ponders this for a moment. Then kneels down. Then starts digging. Via hand.

Rishan hums to themselves enjoying the clean air for a few minutes.
After Awhile they send the rocks flying over the horizon and kneel down to watch Selfless' hole digging "So are you having fun"

Selfless finishes digging, places the rock inside the newly made hole, and begins scooping the mound of dirt back into place.
"That is the intent."
