Sign-Ups for Dandy Dance are simple all we need is name to call you by and when that get's stuffy pronouns to use instead their used to be a third thing but, that didn't really take off and in retrospect was a silly idea. That's how you sign-up but, why would you? Well in this game you take on the role of Natives of A!U! the Universe which sits atop the swirling chaos which created the multiverse. As beings unique to this universe you are born with an innate desire to be woven within the fabric of the multiverse. How do you accomplish such a task? Well by being thirsty as hell of course! By binding yourself to those already spread throughout all possible worlds you link their tales with yours. Will you be able to charm any of the eligible bachelor/ettes before the crucible of the Dandy Dance stands as the moment of your ascension? Play to find out.
OK, that sounds interesting and all but, how do I play? Good Question well the Game is broken into three basic phases the vocation phase where you choose an area to improve your stats at afterwards a random event will happen where you'll need to use the aforementioned stats to navigate a wacky scenario succeed and gain more stats and connect with your classmates fail and suffer the consequences. When in the vocation phase it is important to remember both your stats and the character(s) which you are trying to please plans will become harder and easier by playing to your strengths and audience and harder by steering away from them. Next up is a social phase on odd days these are extracurriculars open form events where having a good knowledge of the attendees will help you stick to whoever it is you're pursuing this is also the best time to acquire Pledge Items but, we'll discuss those more later. On even days players will compete to determine the order in which they choose seats at the cafeteria during which LIs often bicker easing you easy points with your preferred partner, or stop by the pop-up Tala-Mart, or maybe spend some time with one of your less datable buddies and scope up some stats. The last phase is the facility's phase during which you can use any one of the many fine facilities set up around A!U! to prepare for the next day or recover from the one you just had.
During your time at A!U! you will collect a wide variety of items these come in a few types Mementoes which unlock new routes both with new romantic options (Phillia Mementos) and new perspectives on the main cast (Eccentric Mementos), Phillia Mementos let the associated character appear in all phases as if they were part of the main cast and Eccentric Mementos may be used repeatedly to trigger a specific series of events with a LI. Pledge items which each have unique effects but, must be recharged/activated by interacting with the associated character(s). Dorm items which can be used in between phases to benefit from their effects in the next phase but, only one per phase and once per day for each (per player). And Date Items which you may use once per week to invite a character out on a date during the vocation phase trading stat gain for major romantic progression.
Descriptions of Individual Stats, Vocations, and Facilities can be found in Launch Part 2 or the Old Sign-Ups or you can just take a gander at the topics for the location you are interested in. This topic will also serve as a constant AMA between the development team and you our loyal fans thank you for all the support and we hope to deliver an enjoyable experience.
