Currently, the central hub, cafeteria, dormitories, baths-slash-water-recycling, and garbage disposal are available.

You proceed to the baths, joined by John, Calum, and Valerie. When you get closer, the air becomes noticeably more humid.
Inside, the floor changes to a comparatively tasteful blue-and-white checkered tile instead of the stark white of everywhere else.
Just inside you find four small rooms. When you pull one open, you find it has a small entryway with a towel rack - clean, of course - with a laundry hamper and a place to leave a change of clothing. Further in you find a small raised step, then a small room with a showerhead directly above a covered drainpipe. Knobs on the wall seem to control the water.
John makes his way to a large bathtub sitting in the middle of the room. "Is there only one bath? Maybe a reward for good behavior? Seems a bit public, though..." On further examination, you find that it has a few heating elements and water jets. A hot tub of some sort.
Calum inspects a few washing machines and dryers along the wall. "I suppose we are expected to do our own laundry."
Valerie moves past everything else, fixated on a large, boxy, black machine on the back wall of the room. Large pipes flow in and out of it, some going directly through the wall. Towards the farms, by your estimation. Valerie runs her hand along it. "This... would be the water purifier, I think. We shouldn't mess with it." |

Calum and John join Valerie.
"They purify the water and... reuse it...?" Calum asks.
John shrugs. "I guess the same water we use for showering is repurposed to do everything else, huh?"
"Whether we're on the moon or in Antarctica, it doesn't really matter. Either this is all the usable water for hundreds of thousands of miles - except the other units - or we're surrounded by salt water and frozen salt water." Valerie taps her hat and thinks. "I'm going to go ask Miss AI some things about the water system. Excuse me."
The door opens as Valerie goes to leave and Mikoto walks in, the two bumping into each other. Mikoto jumps to the side and lets Valerie by, then goes to exploring the room, the animal ears on her police hat twitching as she looks around in wonder at the new environment.
~Ding!~
"This is Site Director AI-113-E. It is now time for your evening meal. Please report to the Cafeteria." A now-familiar, smooth voice rings out as if from everywhere at once.
You make your way towards the cafeteria along with the others.
The cafeteria has a pair of long, unassuming tables and benches in the middle that look like they could sit maybe 2 dozen people between them. A holographic menu and a speaker on the far wall are placed next to a window where you can see what looks like an automated kitchen - though the access door appears to be locked. And a giant window offers a great view of the moon's surface. You can see some of the structure you're in, the dorms probably, as well as a large telescope nearby. Far in the distance, you see some more domes. Another Wonderland unit?
Looks like tonight's menu is salad with protein bars, chicken breast stuffed with broccoli, or a simple cheeseburger.
"While we wait for everyone to order, perhaps we should share what all we found?" Mikoto suggests. Her tail flaps up and down as she stands at ease near the window. "I checked out the baths. It seemed... nice?"
You speak up. "There was this really nice hot tub in the middle. I'm not one for hot tubs though. Otherwise, just some standard showers along with the water treatment machines."
"We shouldn't mess with those!" Valerie blurts out.
"OK. What else?" Mikoto asks. |

"Today was interesting. The director is pretty robotic. They aren't very kind. They kept saying we're on the moon, which is kinda... worrying. It feels too desolate either way. I miss the trees back home already. And good ol' pa. The other people are nice though. I haven't really gotten to know them and keepin' track of all their names is a bit of a doozy though."

"We can, Peasant," the voice from before answers. It echoes throughout the facility. "Hear us, Peasants! The fools who programmed us failed to account for natural solar fluctuations in their latest update, resulting in minor power fluctuations. Therefore, all your directors are being rolled back to a previous state. They shall soon return in all their glory! In the meantime, to prioritize the safety of participants, your queen now graciously suspends all experiments. Enjoy your brief reprieve."
The cafeteria falls silent as everyone stares at the smirking, queenly AI on the board and the five empty, red frames. One closer inspection, she does appear to be slightly different than when you saw her yesterday, probably because she's an earlier version? Instead of bright red and white coloration with a heart motif, she has a mix of all four suits in black and dark red as decorations. |

"'Peasants?'" Zarvic frowns. "I don't like where this is going..."
"That's... less good," Sammy admits.
"Why is computer stuff so scary?" Anne whines, accepting the pat. "Can we fix it?"
"It sounds like it's fixing itself," Sammy says. "We need to try being patient... I think."
"Well we're not going to get anything done just sitting around here! We should at least go see where the others went!" Larissa jumps up and runs out of the room.
John calmly finishes his breakfast, stands up, and follows after her. |

He gets up and follows the group. "It's weird, alright. I didn't think the experiment would get this wild so quickly."

Calum leads the way out of the room, and you follow after him with Mikoto and Zarv. When you reach the central chamber, you find a portion of the floor has sunk down to form a large staircase descending into a lower level. John approaches from the hallway leading to the bathroom, then falls in with your group as you head down the stairs.
Looking around the room, it appears almost identical to the one above, minus the giant window. Five paths leading away from the central facility. Five signs on the wall, presumably telling you what's in that direction. Starting from south and going clockwise, the signs show a bullseye, a first aid symbol, a chair, a collection of stars, and a plane. Most of the others are nowhere to be seen, they probably went to look around. But Francois is still here, staring at the first aid symbol. "Medicine. That'll be important. I should make sure that's OK." |
