"What is the meaning of this Juluis?" Gabrielle asked worryingly. "Ha ha ha ha you fool,". "Your such a fool Gabrielle,". "I had you from the moment the first signs of darkness,". "Now then you are mine to command however I dam please," Juluis mocks Gabrielle. "But how?". "Why?". "Doesn't matter if your dead," Gabrielle tries to reach for his sword. Gabrielle can only stare in horror as he is unable to move his arm. In fact Gabrielle is hardly able to move a muscle on his own. "Oh silly silly Gabrielle,". "I guess I can tell you the truth while you still have some of your puny brain left,". "You see I was once an angel like yourself,". "I served under that wench Minivera,". "You see unlike the rest of her obedient sheep that followed her every word,". "I was a bit how you say rebel," Juluis says taking a seat next to Gabrielle. "Turns out little old stick in the mud Minivera didn't like I was doing,". "You see I am a granter of wishes,". "So I went behind Minivera's back and started granting the selfish wishes of those inferior insects,". "You know power, wealth, status, you name it I granted it, much like I granted your wish today,". "All it took was some pretty words and a handshake,". "Oh the way these mortals destroy themselves isn't it delightful," Juluis laughs with glee. "But why?" Gabrielle asks weakly. "Why you ask?". "Well to put it bluntly because I could,". "I was bored and it was fun watching these mortals tare each other apart,". "I did it for kicks,". "Besides is there any other reason why I should,". "I am entertained, and enjoying the show that's all there is to it," Juluis comments nonchalantly. "You you you demon,". "No right angel call," Gabrielle says. "Yes yes curse me while your ever dwindling free will leaves your body,". "Oh right, Ms. party popper wasn't exactly thrilled that I was stirring the pot,". "Apparently she frowned on that type of behavior,". "So what does she do,". "The little wench banishes me to this pitiful realm,". "On top of that she even had the nerves to seal away most of my powers the nerve," Juluis says with much laughter. "What did mortals ever do to you?". "Why do you hate them so?" Gabrielle asked. "How rude of you to interrupt someone when there mid story,". "Oh well manners are one thing we will have to work on,". "Oh right so she sealed away most of my powers but not all of them,". "I still kept my slow aging process, apperently she thinks it's some type of punishment,". "The other thing which is important and you should really listen,". "The ability to make and grant deals,". "You see I kept that little ability for myself,". "The only thing is I need the victim to be willing to accept the deal,". "They need to come to me, and make a wish, then just shake my hands,". "I believe it's called the power of a contract," Juluis muses. While Juluis is busy speaking to Gabrielle, the darkness has already consumed almost half of his body. "Now then oh right why I do it?". "You my pet need to listen,". "I already told you,". "These inferior pests are my play things,". "I have no complex or nuisanced reason,". "I was just bored and mortals were the perfect source of entertainment,". "Sometimes all you need to do is give them a little push, then just sit back and watch the show," Juluis states. Gabrielle wants to say something in return but his strength is slowly leaving him. "So after I was banished I was still making deals down here on Earth,". "But alas these mortals provide only the most brief of powers,". "Sadly they are useless as slaves so I just collect them,". "They do make nice collectables,". "In fact take a look at this photo album,". "Oh you should see the collection I have going,". "Don't worry I have big plans for you though," Juluis hands Gabrielle a pretty thick album. Gabrielle opens it and is shocked at what he sees. Gabrielle sees pages and pages full of people tapped in cards. From of the page and back of the page are full of people trapped in cards. They all are in various poses of defeat, terror, and horror. Gabrielle slams the book shut and tosses it to the ground. "Aww you didn't like what you saw,". "Oh well that to will change in time,". "You see by using the power of the contract,". "As long as the victim comes to me personally and asks,". "My power is able to return to me depending on the individuals power,". "Humans are weak, small, and fragile so my power returns for maybe at most 5 minutes,". "Oh but you but you my sad little pet,". "Your the angle that's second in command,". "The only thing better would have been to corrupt the goddess herself,". "But even my powers can't stop a dead man from dying,". "But a heart broken lover, who never confessed his feelings,". "Feelings of jealousy and envy,". "Well then baby that all me," Juluis says with much glee. "You didn't kill John did you?" Gabrielle asked. "Oh that would have been a nice twist,". "But sadly no,". "I just let father Time take care of him,". "I needed you my precious pet at just the right moment,". "I also needed Ms. Minivera at her lowest,". "You see if you never shock my hand,". "I would be powerless to really do anything,". "Your sword could have easily pierced me and finished me for good,". "Would have saved everyone a lot of heart ache honestly,". "But because of you, I finally have the strength to pay back Minivera," Juluis says. "What are you going to do?" Gabrielle asks by now most of his body is covered in darkness. "You mean what are we going to do?". "Glad you asked,". "We are going to seal away Minivera and then banish her to Earth,". "Oh but we wouldn't dare of sending her to Earth next to her brat and his lovely family,". "Oh no we are going to seal Minivera nice and tight and then send her far far away where no one can ever find her,". "Then we will take care of that son hers,". "Oh and those two grandkids of her could be a nuisance," Juluis says to Gabrielle. "Why her son and Grandkids?" Gabrielle asked. "Why because they could ruin my fun?". "Even though the half breed is half human, some of her power still courses through him,". "Then he had to go and pass that power on to his kids,". "The nerve of some people I tell you,". "I am over here just trying to have fun and live my life,". "Then they have to go and get themselves involved in my Business,". "I tell you sowing chaos and mayhem is so hard,". "But after they been utterly defeated they too shall be sealed away,". "I can't have even the tiniest amount of interference," Juluis says. "Your demented," Gabrielle says. "No I am Juluis,". "Don't worry your almost completely under my control,". "You had no idea how long I had to wait,". "Close to a hundred years,". "I had to wait for you to get jealous of John,". "I had to wait for that darkness of yours to start to grow,". "Had to wait for your envy to get a hold of you,". "Then I decided to speed the process a bit by giving you my card,". "But now everything is coming up Juluis,". "Playing the waiting game was so worth it," Juluis says with much glee. "Minivera....I....am.....sorry.....please...forgive..... me," Gabrielle said with the last bit of strength he said. "Even to the very end you ask for her forgiveness,". "It matters not,". "The age of Minivera is about to come to an end," Juluis replies. The darkness completely engulfs Gabrielle and begins to change him. Gabrielle's white wings begin to a jet Black. The armor he was wearing went from a shiny gold color to a blood red. A couple of black horns begin to grow on Gabrielle head. Finally, his voice takes on a deeper more demonic tone. "What are your first order master," Gabrielle asks. "Hmm for now sit and wait loyal servent Gabi....no we need a new name for you,". "Oh how about Damien?". "That has a nice ring to it," Juluis asks. "From hence forth I shall be known as Damien," Damien replied. |

When Minivera first arrived in her realm she was shocked to see the current state. The realm was covered in darkness and everything was in ruined. A bunch of angels were found lying face down on the ground. They were covered in brutal wounds and most of them have already perished. Minivera found one that was barely holding on.
"What happened here?". "What happened to Gabrielle?". "Who did this?" Minivera asked the dying angel.
"It was Gabe and a jester,". "Gabe isn't Gabe,". "Goes by Dame now,". "Overpowering darkness,". "Flee Goddess flee," The Angel pleads with Minivera. The Angel passes away in the arms of Minivera.
"Hello there my dear friend Minivera,". "My it's been a really long time,". "You look just as beautiful as the day,". "As the day as you banished me to that despicable realm,". "But you see what doesn't break you just makes you stranger," Juluis says to Minivera.
Juluis was laying upon Minivera's throne his feet dangling over the arms. Juluis had what looked like an ornament Staff in his hands. Juluis appeared to be alone and he was eating some grapes.
"What are you doing here?". "There should have been no way you could get in here,". "The barrier should have prevented you from entering,". "Also how are you sitting on that throne,". "It's protected by powerful divine magic,". "It should have destroyed you, upon touching it," Minivera demanded from Juluis.
"Oh your worried about all of those small details,". "Yeah that barrier was pretty pesky but nothing my new friend couldn't handle,". "He's also the reason why I was able to make myself so comfy on this pretty sweet chair," Juluis says while playing with the specter.
"It doesn't matter,". "I shall strike you down just like I did before,". "Only this time I wouldn't make the same mistake,". "I will end you right here and right now," Minivera says readying her blade.
"Your more then welcome to try,". "All you have to do is make it past my new friend,". "Surprised you didn't ask about your good friend Gabrielle,". "My my my, and he was only your closest advisor to,". "Such a shame really," Juluis says to Minivera.
"What did you do to him you monster?" Minivera demanded.
"Oh now you ask about him,". "My my my,". "What did I do to him?". "The real question is what did you do to him," Juluis replied to Minivera.
"What are you getting at?" Minivera asked.
"What am I getting at?". "Nothing, just that you my dear goddess, neglected poor poor Gabrielle's feelings,". "All he ever do was love you and have feelings for you,". "And what do you do in response,". "You stabbed him right in the heart,". "You just had to go and fall in love with a mortal,". "Then you had to go and raise a family,". "My the poor fellow was practically devastated,". "Poor Gabrielle came to me and wish I would take away his pain," Juluis says with much glee.
Minivera was in complete shock at what she heard. Minivera never knew how Gabrielle felt about her. The fact that Gabrielle was in such pain that he was driven to make a deal with Juluis. Minivera began to doubt herself thinking that she should have been there for Gabrielle.
"Oh right you asked to see Gabrielle so let me summon him,". "Oh right I should tell you,". "That I did grant him his wish,". "Now Gabrielle is no longer in any pain,". "In fact you could say Gabrielle is no more,". "He has been reborn in a glorious new form,". "Allow me to introduce you to the artist formally know as Gabrielle," Juluis says as a figure from behind approached the throne.
The figure had purple skin, Blood red armor, black wings, and a pair of horns on his head. The figure stood next to Juluis completely motionless. His eyes were a pitch Black and they were just staring into the distance. Minivera could only look in on horror at what she was seeing. Minivera could only drop to her knees and stare in shock at what she was seeing.
"No no no it can't be," Minivera said in shock.
"Minivera allow me to introduce you to Dame," Juluis says as Dame just stands by his side.

"No no no how could you?" Minivera asks Juluis. "Oh it was simple really,". "All I had to do was wait for the first signs of darkness to appear,". "Then watch as the darkness grew inside of him.,". ", Conveniently bump into him while he strolling around the mortal realm,". "Then just sit back and wait for him to come to me,". "Like I said it was really simple," Juluis replies casually to Minivera. "Why though?" Minivera asks. "Well if I was to regain my true power,". "Come into your realm,". "Then proceed to take it over,". "Well I needed the extra muscle,". "Besides what better way to have my revenge against you," Juluis says. "You did all of this to get back at me,". "You destroyed my realm,". "You killed my subjects,". "You corrupted my best friend al for some petty revenge," Minivera said to Juluis. Juluis begins to clap while sitting on the throne. Juluis begins to clap faster and faster almost like he's obsessed with clapping. Juluis the sits up properly, on the throne while clapping. "Give the goddess a prize,". "It wasn't just for simple revenge though,". "Truth be told I was always trying to find a way to take over,". "This plan just worked out for the best,". "Oh and revenge was a nice bonus ok top of everything," Juluis says to Minivera. Minivera looks on with a mixture of sadness, anger, and doubt swirling around in her head. "Oh that look your giving me is so priceless,". "In fact let me give you a reward for showing me such a priceless face,". "I am going to tell you how to defeat me,". "Pretty simple really," Juluis tells Minivera. "You jest,". "You don't think I trust a word coming from your lieing lips,". "Why should I believe you?" Minivera demanded of Juluis. "My dear all I wanted to do was give you some advice,". "Whether you heed it or not, is of little use to me,". "It will all end the same in the end," Juluis says reclining in the throne. Minivera just gives Juluis a dirty glare and begins to stare a hole from him. "Anyways my dear Minnie, in order to defeat me is simple,". "You see unless I have a willing victim, my powers are worthless to me,". "So in order to defeat all you have to do is strike down Dame I mean old Gabe over here,". "Once my host is dead I will lose all connections to my power,". "I will be no more powerful to those play things you call mortals," Juluis taunts Minivera. "No there has to be another way,". "I have to kill Gabe in order to defeat you,". "No I refuse to believe it," Minivera cries out to Juluis. "Hey that's how it works,". "Your good pet Gabe could have ended me before,". "But alas he hesitated and now look at him,". "I wonder will you hesitate just like him, or will you have the courage to back up your words," Juluis says to Minivera. Minivera draws her blade and clutches it. Her hands are trembling and she's shaking while holding it. Minivera is filled with guilt and self doubt about doing what she has to. "Oh afraid I made him to strong for you Minnie,". "Tell you what since your friend is under my control,". "I can just let you strike him down right here, right now,". "You will then weaken me significantly and then strike me down,". "Come now Dame stand between me and Minivera and don't move a muscle," Juluis commanded Dame to do. Dame without questions or hesitation marched right in front of Juluis. Dame stood right in the middle of Juluis and Minivera. Dame then placed his arms behind his back and stood there completely motionless. "Your sick,". "Your a sick sick demented fiend," Minivera growled towards Juluis. "My this is so much fun,". "Almost as fun as me granting wishes and watching the toys below fight themselves,". "Now then it's Juluis you need to learn to listen,". "So goddess what will it be strike down Dame to save the world and for you get your revenge,". "Is one life really worth the life of all those inferior insects,". "Or will you hesitate just like he did," Juluis taunts Minivera. Minivera grips her sword and just stands there holding it. Minivera feels weak and her body feels like it's unable to move. Minivera begins to tremble all over and tears could be seen coming down her face. "Come on Minnie make your choice all ready,". "We might age slowly but my patience isn't as fortunate,". "Now then make your choice now,". "Otherwise I will not hesitate to send Dame down below to deal with your son and his family," Juluis shouts out. Minivera closed her eyes and ready her blade she knew what she had to do. Minivera then began to move and she began to charge towards Dame. The last second she changed her direction and began to charge Juluis instead. "Oh you think your clever,". "But do you really think I didn't plan for this,". "Dame subdue this menace," Juluis says to Dame. Dame grabbed his own sword and began to make a bee line for Minivera. Minivera tried to close in on Julius but just before she could reach him. Dame came from behind and slammed the blunt edge of his sword on Minivera's back. Minivera crashed to the ground hard and was in intense pain. "Oh you should have taken me off on my offer,". "But you just had to go and spit it back in my face,". "Oh well let's try this offer then," Juluis says to Minivera. Dame then grabbed Minivera as she was lieing in front of Juluis. Dame began to then toss Minivera towards one of the fountains. Before Minivera could catch her breath or even attempt to stand. Dame came flying towards her and then struck her as hard as he could in the chest. Minivera would start to gasp having a hard time breathing even coughing up golden colored blood. Dame then place his foot on Minivera who was unable to stand. Gabe had his blade drawn and placed it close to her throat. "Traitor,". "You have been charged with treason of the highest order,". "You willingly sided with those mortals over the gods and your servants,". "The punishment for treason is death," Dame told Minivera in a cold and icy tone. "Or there is another option,". "I can spare you but then do the same thing you did to me,". "I can do the same thing you did to me,". "I can seal you away but in return I promise not to harm your family below,". "On my word me or Dame will not lay a hand on them," Juluis says to Minivera. Minivera looks on with contempt towards Juluis. "Or I can have our friend drive his blade through through your throat,". "Then with you dead and gone,". "Nothing will stop me from destroying your son and his family apart,". "This is my one and only offer,". "I would offer you a wish, but we know your above that type of stuff," Juluis tells Minivera. Minivera knows she is done for but at least she still has one more play. While Juluis wasn't paying attention Minivera gathered up the last of her powers and formed a ball of light. Minivera then placed her hand on the grounds and shot the ball of light towards the ground. "Ferdinand, Gabe, John everyone please forgive me,". "I couldn't do what had to be done,". "With this ball of light I transfer a piece of me to the ground below,". "That's all I can do now,". "I have to make a choice that I don't want to,". "But if it means protecting my son and his family,". "So be it," Minivera thought to herself."I accept your offer," Minivera cried out weally. "Oh look who's finally come to her senses," Juluis says with much glee. |

Juluis then takes out a bottle that contains a grey and dark liquid. "You see this bottle here,". "This is stone bottle,". "Whoever is exposed to the liquid inside will turn into stone,". "Normally it's a moderate chance and it wouldn't work on Goddesses or Gods,". "But if the person drinks it and after I added a little bit of my special ingredient,". "Well then your about to find out," Juluis taunts Minivera. Minivera takes the bottle from Juluis and begins to drink the entire contents. Minivera could feel the potion starting to work as a stiff feeling starting at her toes began to work it's way up. Minivera could only watch as the stone started at her toes and quickly started spreading throughout her body. Minivera laid against the ground while she still could. Minivera placed her arms over her chest just as the stone was making it's way towards her. Finally, Minivera closed her eyes and smiled as the stone finally covered her completely. "Ah such a lovely pose,". "You know I was going to send you to the realm below,". "But I have another idea,". "I shall hang you in your very throne room,". "I wouldn't want you to miss a single moment of the action,". "Plus give you the best seat in the house,". "Oh and I did promise me or Dame wouldn't harm your family,". "I never said anything about my other minions," Juluis says with laughter. Dame picked up the stone body of Minivera and began to make his way back to the throne room. A manic laughter could be hear ringing throughout Juluis's domain. Juluis them started to inform Dame of their plans. It was looking grim for Minivera but she was still able to play her last card. Minivera transfered a portion of her self into a ball of light. The ball of light made it's way to an open field. The light then transformed into a baby girl that was wrapped up in a blanket. The baby girl is all that remained of Minivera as she used her powers to reincarnate into a baby girl. A curious Chocobo came across the baby girl and poked around. The baby girl was fast asleep. The Chocobo picked up the basket gently in its beak and made it's way back to the farm. An older man was seeing the Chocobo's in when he noticed one of them was holding something strange. The older man walked to the Chocobo holding a basket with a baby in it. The older man was curious as to where this baby came from. "Now then how did you end up all the way here,". Gerald asked himself. Gerald then noticed a card in the basket. When Gerald went to reach for it, only one thing was written on it. The name Mera was written on the card that was with the baby. "Mera, what a purddy name you got there,". "You poor thing you must have been in the middle of the field all alone,". "Don't worry baby Mera,". "Your safe now, me, the Mrs and the kids will look over you,". "Now how to explain to the wife that one of my Chocobos found you in the field," Gerald said as he cradled baby Mera in his arms.
Mera then let lose a tiny smile as she was in the arms of Gerald.

Location: Claire's house
"Oh wow,". "I don't even know you been through so much,". "So do you even know?" Claire asked Ferdinand.
"No I don't know,". "I don't know if Cindy is still alive,". "Charlotte and Katie are probably still alive,". "They have the blood of the goddess running through them so they would age slowly as well,". "My mom is a statue being held prisoner by Juluis," Ferdinand told Claire.
"Wow you poor thing,". "I didn't realize you been through so much,". "Do you remember how you obtained the seal?" Claire asked.
"Yes it happened about 10 years after my mom left for her realm,". "We haven't received word from her, we just assumed she was busy in her realm,". "While she was away we noticed there was an increased presence in monsters,". "Also we would hear reports of once peaceful leaders acting strangely,". "For the time Me and Cindy decided to keep to ourselves,". "We taught Charlotte and Katie how to weird different weapons and different forms of magic to protect themselves,". "Of course they carried the jewelry I gave to them close," Ferdinand told Clair.
"Oh right you have Minivera's Ring and Necklace still right,". "Yeah I was going to give the ring to my son to be born son,". "But fate had other plans," Ferdinand said to Claire.
"Wait you have a third child out there?" Claire asked.
"Yes, but I never got a chance to meet him,". "In fact my daughters and son think I am probably dead at best,". "At worst they probably think I abandoned them,". "If only I could have seen them at least once," Ferdinand said to Claire.
"What do you mean?" Claire asked.
"It's because of Juluis that's why I didn't see them,". "Some one I never met before but who knew all about me,". "I remember what happened that day," Ferdinand told Claire.
Ferdinand then began to tell him what happened with him on that day long ago.

Location: Ferdinand's and Cindy's house
It was just a day like any other, the sun was out and the birds were singing. Ferdinand had just got done with his training session with Katie and Charlotte. Cindy was home resting, she was pregnant with a baby boy. Cindy wanted to be out there with Ferdinand and her daughters. Ferdinand was doing his best to persuade her to rest. Cindy eventually, gave up and decided to take it easy and rest.
Ferdinand was about to head inside with his daughters and clean up. When an Angel, appeared in front of him. The Angel informed Ferdinand that he was a servant of his mom and that they needed his help. The Angel informed Ferdinand that his mom was in grave danger and needed his help. The angel could guide Ferdinand to his mother's realm but no further.
Ferdinand was unsure what to do at this time. He had a wife that was due any minute now and his own daughters he had to think of. Yet, if what this angel was saying was true he couldn't abandon his mom.
"Honey you need to go,". "I know how much you want to stay but your mom needs you,". "Me and the girls will be fine,". "We have the gifts your mom left us and we have the forest to protect us,". "The spirit of the forest has promised to protect us," Cindy reaffirmed Ferdinand.
"Thank you Cindy,". "I promise to be careful,". "As soon as I am done I will return,". Ferdinand told Cindy.
"That's a promise then," Cindy said.
"Remember whatever happens I love you with all my heart," Ferdinand told Cindy.
"I know,". "I love you to Ferdinand,". "Please return to us safely," Cindy said to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand took off with this angel not knowing this would be the last time he ever see his wife and kids.

Location: Minivera's realm
The angel as promised led Ferdinand to what once was Minivera's domain. Yet as soon as they arrived he took off before Ferdinand could speak. Ferdinand shook his head and then took in his surrounding. The area was now covered in a dark cloud. Ferdinand just a got feeling of dread and unease hanging over him. In front of Ferdinand was an eerie looking Castle the doors in front of him opened up on there own. It's almost like who ever was there knew Ferdinand was there and was inviting him in.
Ferdinand knew it was obvious trap but with no other options he decided to move forward. When he was inside the castle, the doors slammed shut and a row of candles lit up in front of Ferdinand. Ferdinand followed where the candles led him, all the while a feeling of dread hung over him. Finally, the door at the top of the steps opened up on their own again.
"Come now Ferdinand you wouldn't want to keep your mom waiting," a voice calls out to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand gathered his courage and marched through the door not knowing what he was in for. The room was completely dark saved for a couple of things that were lot. The first thing Ferdinand saw was a throne turned away from him. A statue of Minivera was hanging over the throne. The darkness inside the room made it hard to see anything else.
"Oh your not even going to say hi to your mother,". "Geez and I even made sure to put her front and center,". "Such a shame really,". "But I guess she was too busy to teach her son manners," an unfamiliar voice says to Ferdinand.
"Who are you?". "Where are you?". "What have you done to mother?" Ferdinand called out.
"Wow you like to throw out multiple questions at once too,". "Geez take it easy half breed,". "First off I am right in front of you, sitting right in this lovely throne,". "Second my name is Juluis Von Duncan, I was once a faithful servant of your mom,". "She then had the nerve to banish me, all because I like to cause troubles for her precious mortals," Juluis says to Ferdinand.
Juluis then turns around in the throne and faces Ferdinand. He seems to have a big grin on his face. Juluis then stands and takes a bow.
"Well now a pleasure to make your aquatintace Ferdinand,". "What an honor to see Minivera's half breed son face to face,". "Oh right your final question where your mom is,". "Just look above you,". "She's right above you,". "Doesn't she look wonderful," Juluis says to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand looked above and saw the statue of Minivera staring down at her. Ferdinand took a second to put two and two together. Finally, the realization washed over him what happened to his mom.
"You didn't," Ferdinand said.
"Oh your right I didn't,". "She did it herself,". "Took the potion out of my hands and drank it in one sip,". "In return I couldn't lay a hand on you or her precious family," Juluis says.
"Mom why you didn't have to," Ferdinand said.
"Your right I gave her chance to defeat me,". "But she instead threw the offer back in my face,". "Talk about rude,". "So then I made her an offer she couldn't refused,". "Well you see for self what she chose," Juluis tells Ferdinand in a mocking tone.
"You release her at once," Ferdinand demanded.
"Oh you want me to free her,". "I am afraid that's beyond my power,". "You see she willingly took the potion and willingly became stone,". "I am afraid no magic or item can cure her,". "Plus I added a little bit of darkness just to ensure the petrification potion would work," Juluis says to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand took his fist and punched Juluis as hard he could. Juluis didn't bother to dodge and took the punch directly to his face. Juluis stumbled a bit and grabbed his face and pretended it hurt. Only for Juluis to laugh and walked towards Ferdinand.
"Oh now got some fight in you,". "I like that,". "You may prove some entertainment after all,". "As much as I would love to teach you a lesson,". "I have a deal I have to honor,". "But as a reward for having some fight let me tell you how to free her," Juluis said with a huge grin.
Ferdinand seemed weary of what Juluis had to say but listened none the less.
"You see if I were somehow to perish,". "Surely the magic coursing threw her would weaken,". "You may ask but Mr. Juluis how could I defeat such a strong and powerful being as yourself,". "Glad you asked, allow me to introduce you to your mom's trusted advisor Gabe,". "Oh wait your mom's former most trusted advisor Dame," Juluis says.
Juluis motioned for Dame to join him. Dame once again in his usual appearance before Juluis. Dame stood firm next to Juluis and seemed like he was waiting for his orders.
"Now then this fellow here used to be an obedient servant to your mom,". "Oh he was her most trusted advisor and she could trust him with anything,". "In fact you could say he loved her,". "But alas your mom fell in love with a disgusting mortal,". "So you see if only your mom never met you pathetic mortal dad,". "You would be living a carefree life," Julius says to Ferdinand.
"Still your tongue you fiend,". "My mom and dad loved one another,". "My dad being a mortal has nothing to do with this,". "My family has nothing to do with this,". "Even Gabe had nothing to do with this,". "No it was because of you and your need for petty revenge that you ruined so many lives,". Ferdinand said clutching his fists.
"Glad you feel that way,". "Now will you be able to do what your mom couldn't do,". "If I am not attached to a host, I am powerless,". "My powers are directly connected to whoever I made a contract with,". "So all you have to do is slay this fellow Dame here,". "Then poof no more powers then your free to strike me down," Juluis tells Ferdinand.
"That's what you want me to do,". "You want me to strike him down then what,". "Then you stab me in the back,". "Then you just move on to the next host,". "No I refuse to strike him down," Ferdinand said to Juluis.
At that moment the statue of Minivera began to shine brightly. A bright life engulfed Ferdinand where his mom approached him. She appeared to be in all her glory and had a warm smile on her face.

"My how you grown my son,". "I am sorry for everything,". "I hope you and your family can forgive me,". "I just couldn't strike down someone who was so close toe,". "That fiend knew that and took advantage.of it," Minivera said to Ferdinand.
"There is a way to save Gabe and to weaken Juluis,". "It's very risky but it may just work,". "Allow me to pass on this technique to you,". "Use it to seal the darkness inside of a suitable host,". "I am sorry it has come to this but please accomplish what I could not," Minivera said to Ferdinand.
A light passes into Ferdinand as he learned the Evil's Bane seal.
"Goodbye my son,". "And please continue to look after the world me and your dad loved," Minivera said as she faded.
"That cheeky goddess holding on to that little bit of light,". "Well whatever,". "It doesn't matter one way or another now then make your choice half breed," Juluis tells Ferdinand in a mocking tone.
"I made my decision and this is my choice," Ferdinand said. Ferdinand's hand began to glow with a holy light as he rushed towards Dame.
"No no no no no,". "When did she?". "So that's what she did," Juluis says in terror.
Ferdinand placed his hands on Dame's chest and the darkness inside of him began to flow into Ferdinand.
"You fool do you know what you done,". "Your body wouldn't be able to handle all that darkness,". "No mortal can possibly handle all that darkness," Juluis screams out.
"You forget I am also half divinity,". "My mom gave me the power to defeat you without slaying anyone,". "Your about to pay for everything you did," Ferdinand grunted.
Dame's body began to slowly turn into stone as the darkness was being absorbed into Ferdinand. Ferdinand was grunting as he absorbed more darkness. The process was beginning to get to him. Yet Ferdinand remained determined to see this through.
"Curse you Minivera,". "After years of precious planning,". "Years of scheming and manipulating,". "Years of just waiting,". "Biding my time and you dare ruin it," Juluis cries out as his power slowly drains.
Dame just stood there as the seal was draining him of the darkness. As the last bit of darkness was drained from Dame, a smile could be seen on his face. Almost like Gabe was thanking Ferdinand for freeing him. Dame turned into stone as the darkness was drained from him into Ferdinand.
The darkenss was drained from Dame into Ferdinand. The seal activated as a giant complex seal appeared on Ferdinand's back. Ferdinand was completely drained and was severely exhausted from the process. Juluis was weakened from having Gabe's darkness drained from him.
"Hahahahahahahaha,". "You think you won,". "You think that I will fall,". "Oh you silly silly fool,". "You think I wouldn't have a back up plan in place," Juluis screams out.
Ferdinand barely had the power to stand on his own. Let alone actually face or defeat Juluis.
"Oh that's right I can't harm you or touch you,". "Ha ha ha ha ha ha,". "So allow me to give you a gift of my own for making it this far," Juluis says slamming the septeter into the ground.
A dark circle formed underneath Ferdinand. Ferdinand tried his best to get away but his body refused to move. Suddenly, a hand reached out from the portal and grabbed Ferdinand. Another hand and then another hand appeared and grabbed onto Ferdinand. Ferdinand could feel himself being dragged into the dark circle.
"Oh relax you will remain unharmed all right,". "You will remained unharmed for all time in the void,". "There shall you wander forever lost in total darkness and oblivion,". "The best part is that no one will know what happen to you,". "Your precious wife will think you left her,". "Your kids will forget about you,". "So in the end I win," Juluis mocks Ferdinand.
Ferdinand felt his body being dragged below. He tried his best to resist but his body was way to weak. The more Ferdinand struggled the tighter the hands would grip him.
"Cindy I am sorry,". "Everyone forgive me," Ferdinand spoke as he was dragged into the dark circle.
"Great just great,". "Now I have to start all over again,". "Oh well at least he didn't get all the darkness,". "See even as a statue my dear Gabe,". "Now then to start the rebuild Juluis said to himself.

Location: Claire's cabin
"Oh wow just like that?". "You didn't even get a chance to say goodbye,". "You don't even know what happened do you," Claire said to Ferdinand in a gentle tone.
"That's the worse part,". "They could still be alive for all I know,". "They could still be looking or they could have forgotten about me,". "Not knowing is the worse feeling," Ferdinand said to Claire.
"Wait how were you able to escape that place," Claire asked Ferdinand.
"I don't even know myself,". "I heard a voice call out to me,". "I don't know who's it was,". "Yet they were saying my job wasn't done,". "Next thing you know a light appeared and I found myself in town" Ferdinand said.
"Thanks for telling me Ferdinand,". "I at least know what I want to do now," Claire says hugging Ferdinand tight.
"Oh what is that?" Ferdinand asked.
"You silly I want to start a life with you," Claire said to Ferdinand.
"Even after learning everything,". "Even though you might be placing your life in constant danger,". "Even if the darkness one day takes over," Ferdinand asked Claire.
"Hey I am an adult and I been around a while,". "I want to go on this journey with you,". "I know the risks involved and I don't care,". "Unless you don't want me to," Claire says to Ferdinand.
A giant smile appeared on Ferdinand as he pulled Claire into his embrace. "Nothing would make me happier,". "I never thought I could feel this way again,". "Of course I want you to be a part of my life," Ferdinand said to Claire.
Claire and Ferdinand exchanged a long passionate kiss cementing there new life and love for one another.

Ferdinand and Claire would eventually wed within the year. Claire would continue to tend to the house and watch over Ferdinand. Ferdinand became a well know figure within town. His popularity continued to grow and eventually he would become the towns leader.
Claire and Ferdinand would also be blessed with twins of their own. The couple had a son named Ferdinand Jr. and a daughter named Shanon. Ferdinand would give the necklace he had to Shanon and the ring to Ferdinand Jr. Claire would settle into watching over the kids and Ferdinand while Ferdinand performed his duties.
Many years would pass and Ferdinand Jr. and Shannon would eventually grow up. Ferdinand Jr. decided to go on a journey across the globe. He took a few possessions and left for his journey. Ferdinand Jr. made sure to write regularly and to inform his parents how everything was going. One day Ferdinand Jr. decided to settle down and start his own town. The town would start off small, a couple of houses a couple of shops but over time would grow.
Shannon on the other hand met a young man in town. A local healer who was just starting his apprenticeship. The two would start as friends then eventually, lovers. The two would have a daughter of their own named Anna. Shannon would pass on the necklace to Anna.
Claire loved to see her grandkid and was thrilled to have Anna around. Claire would teach Anna various things and even how to handle a bow. Anna was a quick study and took to the bow quite easily. Another thing Anna showed an apptiude for was for selling wares and making deals. Anna when she was older would eventually open up her own shop in Ferdinand's town. Anna had a knack for finding the greatest deals, acquiring information, and finding rare and expensive goods.
Ferdinand was enjoying his time and was beginning to enjoy his new life. Yet the thoughts of his daughters and Son from his previous life would continue to nag in the back of his mind. One day a letter appeared on Ferdinand's desk that would change his life forever.
Hopefully, this reaches you Ferdinand I mean dad. This is Katie and well I don't know who to turn to. I can't tell you where I am right now. But me, Char Char, and Barry need you.

Ferdinand looked shocked at what he saw. No way could a letter from Katie make to his desk after all this time. Yet if the letter was really written by Katie. Ferdinand realize that this could mean his daughters and son were still alive. Ferdinand had so many questions and thoughts. That evening Ferdinand called a meeting with Claire, Shannon, and Anna who at the time was pregnant with a daughter of her own.
"What do you ladies think?" Ferdinand asked.
"Well it seems like an obvious trap to me," Anna said.
"I don't know what to think?". "It could be a trap meant for you,". "But if it is legit,". "Then that means our big sister and big brother are in trouble,".Shannon added.
"I think you need to go,". "Yes it could very obviously be a trap sent by that Juluis or one of his followers,". "I know that if you don't call then it will continue to bother you,". "We all know what will happen if you don't go,". "You need to find out for yourself," Claire says to Ferdinand.
"Don't worry we will hold down everything here dad," Shannon tells her dad.
"Yeah gramps don't worry I will keep an eye on the town," Anna says to her grandfather.
"Thanks everyone,". "Your right I have to find out the truth,". "I am sad that I have to leave you guys,". Ferdinand relented.
"Go my love,". "Please return to us just safely,". "We will be here waiting for you," Claire said.
Ferdinand made sure his affairs were in order. He made sure Anna was okay with all the inner workings of the town. Anna knew more or less what to do seeing how the town operated by watching from her shop. Finally, Ferdinand said his good byes to Claire before running off into the night.

Time: Current Time
"It's been almost 20 years since anyone has heard of Ferdinand,". "The town has seen a gradual decline,". "With the recent spike in monsters, strange creatures appearing, and growing tension between the lords and nobels,". "People just don't travel as much,". "Well that's all to my tale," Adelle told the traveler.
"Oh wow you know so much,". "Are we like related or something,". "This is the first time I heard the tale turned so accurately," the traveler asked Adelle.
"Oh that well,". "When you been in the game as long as I have,". "You have your ways of finding out all sorts of tasty morsels of story,". "Wait what do you mean by completely accurate?". "How would you know if this tale is true?" Adelle asked the traveler.
"Oh that's because I heard the same story from my great grandma,". "In fact I just got done visiting with the greatest of great grandma Claire,". "The tale you just told me was about the greatest of great grandfathers Kirby,". "Oh right allow me to introduce my self," the traveller said removing there hood.
The traveller removed her hood and revealed her long golden hair in a braid. The traveler had slightly pointed ears, piercing blue eyes, and the fairest of skin. The traveler had a wooden bow across her back, a beaten up sword on her waist, and finally a beautiful necklace around her neck.
"Nice to meet you Ms. Adelle,". "My name is Christina Lightbringer,". "And I am on a journey to become the world's bestest hero and to find the greatest of great grandfather Kirby," Christina says to Adelle
Adelle seemed to be shocked that she was speaking with Ferdinand's great granddaughter this entire time. "Wait so that means?" Adelle stammered.
"Yup Anna the person currently running the town is my mom,". "Shanon is my grandma and Claire is my greatest of great grandma,". "This necklace contains granny Minivera's power,". "As you said it seems to activate randomly or in times of need," Christina says to Adelle.
Christina stretches and takes a look at the time.
"Whoops look like I have to get going,". "It's getting late and mom wouldn't like it if I am late,". "Well Addy nice meeting you here take this," Christina says tossing a small coin purse onto the counter.
Christina then leaves the tavern and poses before taking off.
"Wow why I never,". "Hmm I wonder," Adelle says opening the coin purse. Adelle's eyes widen as she saw all the gold inside of the coin purse.
"Wow what a generous lass,". "Christina you said your name was,". "Wow your certainly one peculiar girl,". "But your certainly someone to keep an eye on," Adelle said to herself.
