It's been a while since we did one of those, but I wanna if people are even interested in this. So, this is based on the original version of THE MASTER, which I call The First World now.
In the first world, it wasn't simply about characters fighting each other. It was about guilds made of various characters formed by a theme, each guild trying to accomplish the daily objective. That daily objective could range from "be the first to find X item", to "get the highest kill count today" or even "be the guild that defeats Virus (the main villain)". So yeah, manage your town, find ways to collect equipment to help working towards the daily objective, recruit guildless newcomers, etc.
I do not want to have this be a THE MASTER game though. I don't even know if I'll have even have an overarching in-game GM figure or if I'll even have a main villain at all. But here are the details I want to keep:
Once all players have signed-up, they'll have to decide 2 things: the name of the player guild, as well as what their home is. Is it a town? A military base? A spaceship? Houses built inside and around a gargantuan dead dinosaur? Anything the players end up agreeing upon.
Now, what I really wanna know is if you guys want the characters to be already existing fictional characters or Vitcon characters (The Anything Goes option of the poll) or new characters all together (The New Original Characters only option of the poll). Note that Anything Goes option will still allow you to play as a new OC. I made the vote be only 1 possible vote. Anyway, more detais.
What you need to expect from Anything Goes are franchises or new games that I know I experienced after my last attempt at THE MASTER. Monster Hunter World, Stories 2, Rise. Federation Force and Dread. DOOM. Probably a lot of Jojo. And more. Will probably still use some I know I had implemented in THE MASTER, but I feel ended up never really using like Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.

- If I implement gaining new abilities, I probably will, this would give Daily Struggle something different to THE MASTER
- If I actively try to have players lose a day, which means I'd have to implement a consequence system
- Some form of relationship system. Not romance, cause I know it could get weird fast and at least one user doesn't want to involve their characters in romance. But just a "oh, you're actively seeking out to work with this NPC a lot, they're definitely used to work with you so they'll be stronger when paired with you now".
