Tye searches along the river for fish and spots one. He casts his line and waits. He gets a bite pretty quickly and just yanks the rod, easily pulling in a catch. Tye got a Pale Chub! This guy's really tiny... While walking around, Tye did notice some things. There's a lot of new houses in Origin, and a planning site for one. Lloid is still in front of the Town Hall, collecting donations. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be too many people out and about, at least along the river.

Malik walks around the new town he's in, looking for apple trees. However, he doesn't find a single apple tree, only dumb orange trees. While walking around, someone notices him. It's some funky looking dude. He's got a short red buttoned shirt, black dress pants, red sneaks, and a weird rainbow-colored feather in his messy black hair. He runs right at you, then stops and starts talking. "Oh, you must be one of the new residents! Welcome to Origin! My name's Richard, and I'm the Mayor here. ...You okay? You seem a little lost... That's okay, though. We'll get you set up here." Richard pulls out a clipboard and looks at it. "Hmm... So you must be Malik. Nice to meet you! So, Malik, to start living your life here, you'll need a house. I want you to head to Origin's Main Street and into the Nook's Homes building. The real estate agent, Tom Nook, will help you establish your house here. Here's a map." Richard hands you a simple fold-up map of Origin. It's very small, so it won't take up space in your Pockets. vitcon.boards.net/thread/314/origin-town-map"Allrighty then, see you later Malik!" Richard walks off.

Tye starts fishing in the river again. After a bit, he gets another bite. This fish is... Strange. The bobber is flowing along the river as the fish swims away with the hook in its mouth.
Malik heads to Nook's Homes to meet Tom Nook. It's a nice building. Various models are shown in the first floor, showcasing house renovations. A raccoon in a green sweater vest notices Malik and greets. "Oh, hello. You must be Malik, hm? The Mayor's told me to expect you coming. It's very nice to meet you. Now, I know that you need a home to live in. So, let's head out into the town and choose where we want to set up your house, yes yes?" Okay, using the Town Map, choose a location where you want your house to be. Your house takes up a 3x3 square on the grid, and it can be anywhere on the map that's possible and doesn't disrupt anything, like building a house in front of a bridge. With the map, tell me the coordinate of the entrance of your house, like AC42.

Tye pulls the fish out of the water. Tye caught a Sweetfish! What's not so sweet is that the Fishing Rod seems to have taken minor damage from pulling a fish far away against the current. It's still usable, though.

Tye fishes for moar fish in the river. He walks along the river until spotting a small shadow in the water. He sends out his bobber, and the shadow immediately strikes. With a bite on the bobber, the fish swims all over the place with formidable power. How are you gonna pull this one in? If anyone's interested, I RNG a lot of stuff in this game. The fish, the items on sale, the villagers moving in, etc.

"Hm... That's a bit too close to the cliff, but would you be fine with the entrance being located at G42?" Check your map, and if you're fine with your house's location, then tell Tom Nook so.

Take it one step at a time. Switch directions you pull in to prevent breaking and get the fish closer. If the rod has too much strain, lighten up and wait for the fish to slow down for a strong pull.
