I won't be able to actually write a real letter. If I did, it would say something about how every job in town is important and we need her, but unless you want to wait until Friday, I can't give you the letter because I can't use my computer. Have Tye sell his things real quickly just before the store closes, hand Richard the letter, and run home to get some sleep.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh Why must you do this justtttttt Okay, I'll give you a bye for now, but next time a letter needs to be written, you gotta write it just baby.
Tye heads to Nook's Homes and hands Tom Nook 14 Oranges to sell. He stops by Richard's house to drop off the letter. Richard and the pelican from before are relaxing on the beach as Tye walks up and hands Richard the letter. "Oh wow, you actually did it! Thanks, Tye. Pelly can't deny something like this!" "Well, working for your town would be way better than working for the city, so I'm rooting for this to work too. ...And Phyllis will come with Pelly, right?" "No doubt in my mind, Pete. Those sisters are surprisingly inseparable. The only reason I didn't write Phyllis a letter is because I'm pretty sure she hates my guts..." "Phew..." The pelican lets out a sigh of relief. He then practically runs into Tye and vigorously hugs him. "Thanks, buddy! You saved my job AND my friends' jobs!" He takes the letter from Richard, then flies off. "There's a lot of important jobs that a town has, Tye. But a town is nothing without its residents. Sometimes, it seems like the residents have the most important job of all. Good night, Tye." Richard waves Tye goodbye as he enters his house.

And so, another day passes.
...Wow, for a town with six people, last night was pretty noisy. Whatever. Vitch and Tye rise up to another morning in Origin.

Stretch out arms and flop out of bed. Time for a new day! The will go pick up his bells from Tom and look around Main Street. He remembers there was construction yesterday.

Fitch will get up and stroll around outside. Fitch? Who's Fitch? No one tells me anything around here! Anyways... Vitch strolls around town. As he wanders, he can spot some new things. There's now a Bulletin Board near the Train Station, there's two new houses near the plaza, and Vitch could have sworn he saw Richard passed out on the beach, but maybe that's just him. Tye heads to Main Street to pick up his Bells and WHOA IS IT DIFFERENT NOW. It looks like Main Street's been almost doubled in size. The area behind Nook's Homes has been cleared out, and the stone path leads to another street. Near Nook's Homes, the building being constructed now turns out to be a shoddy shack called Nooklings' Junction. On the second street, you can see a new, wooden building. It has a red roof, with an insignia of a letter on the front of the building next to the door. You can actually see a lot of construction workers and equipment still around. Tye heads to Nook's Homes to pick up his Bells. "...In total, after everything, you'll receive 3,360 Bells. Nice work. Now, you won't have to sell me your goods anymore, Tye. If you're going to sell things, sell them at Nooklings' Junction. You'll also instantly get paid, and there's no service fee, so it works out for everyone, hmm? As for me, I'll still be running real estate here, so don't worry about me. We can also talk about expanding your house, if you want. Have a good day, Tye."

Tye decides to shop at Origin's first store. How exciting! Move on to the Nooklings' Junction thread to shop.

Tye decides to leave the Post Office and heads home for a good night's rest. TGC, when you're ready to move in, post something here saying something like "John wakes up."
Another day, another morning.

I mostly base this game off the philosophy of the original's box art. It's time to move into Animal Crossing, the real-life game that's happening every second of every day, whether you're there or not! However, there really won't be any punishment for failing to respond. You'll just lose out on a day of progress.

Can I do stuff now? Let's go fishing! It's a new day and the sun is shining! Probably. Will it ever rain?

Nah, you have to unlock rain in this game.
...
That was a joke. Get it? It's supposed to be funny... Tye heads out of his home with fishing rod in hand. Where should he go fishing, he wonders...

Let's try the river today. Maybe we'll see someone new.
Do we have to unlock snow too? It must be a pretty hard side quest.
