At the Post Office, you can mail letters you wish to send and save letters you have in your possession. There's also an ATM machine, so you can deposit or withdraw Bells in your bank account or pay off your mortgage debt to Tom Nook through the machine if you have a debt.
Tye enters the building. It's a cozy wooden building, with an open space in front and about a quarter of the room behind a counter. Manning the counter, you can see a white pelican, wearing a pink blouse with a white bow, and a purple skirt. Behind her, you can see bags of letters, and a door with the words MAILROOM. Directly to the left, there's a machine that's clearly an ATM.
The pelican sees you enter and welcomes you. "Hello, welcome to Origin's new Post Office. I'm Pelly, and I run the day shift here. Do you need help with anything today?"
