Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem would both be recommended by me before Smash and ORAS. Fire Emblem is a personal favorite of mine and its replayable due to support conversations. Monster Hunter is a really fun multiplayer game even though I don't have it.

If you buy FE or MH4U off the eShop, you'll end up paying a $40 price. That's not necessarily bad, but you could probably get it for cheaper physically.
I still recommend Animal Crossing if it seems like you'd enjoy that style of game. The game is built around replayability, and it's only $30 on the eShop.

Monster hunter is not bad...and i know it is hard...but i dont have very many friends...FE...i was thinking of getting it...ok i think i will get fire emblem awakening

Just so you know ultra, Henry is the best character. If you focus on improving him, you'll win the game.
And make sure Olivia marries him.
