Originating in a galaxy on the edge of the Virgo Supercluster. The Unionian race gained their name in the ancient past during the creation of the Unknown Union. During which they established an empire that spans over sixty-thousand galaxies. The exact story as to why they chose this name and why their union was formed is unknown. Hence why they call their civilization the "Unknown Union". Their society is fairly flexible, with only a few laws that enforce the basic moral code, in addition to a volunteer military. They are asexual, reproducing in a way similar to how a starfish does. As they age, parts of their body decay, fall off and then grow into a separate, unique individual. In addition to this, they developed overtime a way to achieve practical immortality. Genetically engineering themselves thousands of years ago to a point where their bodies recycle all energy they take in. Therefore they have become immune to the effects of age, only a random act of violence can kill them now...
