Everyone seemed to be having a normal day of playing SAO when they were all transported here. It seems that almost all 10,000 players that got their copy of SAO are here. Everyone is just kind of standing around. There are others talking there as well. "Hey, what's going on?"
"Maybe this is part of the opening ceremony?" It doesn't seem like anyone knows what's going on. Everyone looks around confused as a red light begins flashing in the sky. It says in large letters WARNING. That can't be good. Soon the whole sky goes red with warning signs as some kind of stream of blood flows down from the sky and forms into some strange robed giant. You cannot see their face as it is hidden from their hood.
The giant speaks. "Greetings players of SAO. I am the creator of this world and Aincrad itself. I have an important announcement to make. As you may know, there is something important missing from the main menu." The robed figure pulls open a large menu and moves over through the main menu. "The log out button is missing. This is not a mistake, nor is it a glitch. In the game of SAO, you cannot log out. Any attempts at taking the player's Nerve Gear off has resulted in the players death. Another thing, in the game of SAO, when you're avatar's HP hits zero, you will die as well. The avatar will be deleted from the system and the Nerve Gear will fry your brain. The only way to get out of SAO is to climb all 100 floors until you reach the top and defeat the final boss. The news has already stopped people from taking the Nerve Gear off of players as 213 players have already died in that way. I hope this brings you a small amount of calmness as you try to clear the game. Players will only have ten minutes to revive defeated players after they have died before it is too late. That is all. Good luck." The figure starts to fall apart as an earsplitting screech is emitted. Soon the figure is gone and the warnings are gone. There's something new in everyone's inventory. A mirror...
