Welcome to the arena! Here, we pit fighters against difficult challenges and you can bet Arena Coins for prizes. You can even join in on the arena! The rules vary depending on what game mode you're playing, but they shouldn't be too complicated. Before you start reading, please keep in mind that there are no sign ups and that your characters will not die. Let's start with Boss Arena.
Boss Arena
In the Boss Arena, players will fight bosses they have faced in their past. Bets cannot be placed in this mode, but more than one player can participate. You may challenge any boss with any character, but the amount of coins won may vary depending on difficulty. In order to sign up for a match against a boss, you must fill in a form at the Boss Arena Registration. A limit of four characters per boss fight is used to keep players from flooding the arena to battle. If you wish to take on a boss with another player, please speak with them in the Recruitment Center. Once your set up is complete, you'll be thrown into the boss battle. It's that easy! Afterwards, you can collect your reward from Rain, Flora, or Golem at the Arena Coin Exchange.
Dungeons
In Dungeons, players will go off and explore an area from one of the many games on Vitcon. This is a simple move from the start to the beginning sort of thing and a boss will battle you at the end. Please be aware that bets cannot be placed in this mode. However, this is multiplayer as well. Players can either challenge dungeons cooperatively or competitively. If challenged together, players can explore the dungeon and share the reward equally. If challenged competitively, players will find Arena Coins in chests throughout the dungeon and whoever lands the final blow on the boss receives a large bonus. Players can battle each other in the dungeons to steal coins or even defeat each other, taking them out of the dungeon.
Challenges
In Challenges, players will choose from a list of specific challenges to accept. These range from something simple like defeating a certain amount of enemies or something harder like changing the past of another game. Bets cannot be placed in this mode, but this is also multiplayer. Players can yet again choose cooperative or competitive. In cooperative mode, players can take on a challenge together. Challenges will have their own preset amount of characters allowed. When playing together, the players will split the reward equally, but when playing competitively, players will race to see who can finish the challenge first. Only one of those competing will get the prize, but the prize will be worth double the amount put up.
PvP
In PvP players will be pitted against each other in battle. There are very few limitations on this and the battles will be set up by the players. They get to choose the amount of characters and they choose where the battle takes place. There could be multiple players involved in a battle, but there must be one moderator that can watch over the battle. Players should send in their battle plans via PM. Those not participating can place bets on which player will win as well.
Death Gauntlet
Perhaps the most dangerous and most difficult of all the game modes, but the most rewarding, the Death Gauntlet is a grand free for all where thirty characters enter the arena. Of course, entrances will be somewhat spread out. There will be three groups of entries and each group is ten people. Players may enter a maximum of two characters each. I will always moderate this and there is only one every once in a while, so check often. The characters in the arena must all battle until only one person or team is left standing. These battles can get somewhat hectic as you can imagine, so everyone is released in groups of ten randomly selected. They will each get a theme song as well when entering for dramatic effect. This battle takes place in the Grand Arena. This is a simple arena with a large audience watching and cheering. You can either get out by dying or getting tossed out of the ring. It's rather large, so that may be difficult, but stay on guard! The grand prize is 50 Arena Coins! The prize will be split amongst the surviving members of a team if there is a team that wins. Be warned that max team size is five and you will have to team up in the arena, so it's harder to form a team than it sounds.
Free Battle
In Free Battle mode, you and your characters can create any match up they wish. In fact, you don't even need to play as someone in the databases. You can be anyone you like and battle anyone you like. This is the original battle mode of the first arena made and we hope you enjoy its return! However, to avoid abuse of this new mode, you cannot bet or earn any Arena Coins in this mode. It is purely a mode for fun.
Death Match Arena
Going back to the second arena made, we return an old feature! This is where you may nominate characters to battle from nearly anything you think of. While you can place bets, you will not be able to control the characters. It is purely based on their skill and tactics alone. However, you can interact with the battle in certain ways. Players can control the environment and give each fighter one Assist Trophy to summon an ally for a powerful attack. These extras can be toggled on or off for battle, however. We hope you enjoy the returning modes!
That's all for now. We're working on some new game modes, but we hope you enjoy what we've made so far. Please remember that your characters will not die. When defeated, they will be revived with the latest in Link Cube technology. No matter how badly injured you get, these things can revive you and summon you right back!
