I'm seriously thinking about making another war game, but instead of controlling an army, You control a mercenary group, a small group of powwrful units. Rather than engage in wars, players will be able to take on missions for valauble loot as well as challenging each other to battles and participating in gladatior and tornament style battles.

Eh, depends on the implementation. I'm not really a fan of war games anyways, although I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

Implementation can pertain to a lot of things. Like storyline.

Honestly, I think we have far too many take a mission beat a mission get a stuff games. I want to encourage you to find something brand new and unique. Not with a mission board, but also taking certain elements from wars games and this game you've gathered an idea of.

Yeah. That wasn't what I was thinking. While soldiers and resources won't play a part in the game, You'll still need to do projects to increase your hero mercs abilities as well as gain new merc units.
Plus there will be stores that reqiure currency, and missions will be the only way to get said currency.
I can assure you that there will be plenty of pvp and even a storyline type thing that will pit players against each other.
Also, there will be no mission board, players will choose a difficulty, and then the moderator will create the mission.

Once again, it depends on the implementation of everything. I'm personally not too sold on the idea, especially since you're just throwing out concepts right now, but I'm willing to try it if it looks fun and original.
