What is this game?: This game is an interactive open world. You incarnate a character of your choice (Can be anything, real or fictional. Can even be a character you create or a character already on Vitcon) trying to survive the shenanigans of the being known as "The Master". There is no precise goal or story. The game will adapt on how your character reacts and what his objectives are. Note that the is no level and no stats. In the end, the game is simple: you do whatever you want to do and the story will advance accordingly.
But how do I win?: You can't really win, this is just a fun game to play. The goal of the game is to have as least deaths as possible. You respawn when you die, but your deaths will be counted and characters will be ranked depending on how many deaths they have. The character with the least death will be considered the best character by The Master's characters (NPCs). A good way to make the other players have more death than you is killing their characters.
About killing: There's no PVP battle mechanics planned for this game, so you can't blatantly attack someone. Be creative and find other ways. I'll give a few examples:
-Go on a roof with a sniper and attack anyone that didn't see you
-Assassinate someone who has his back turned
-Sabotage something in their home when they are not there
-etc.
You can attack the characters of The Master as much as you want though.
Reputation: There is a reputation system. If you reach +10, you'll become a hero, in which case anyone who is not an antagonist will lose any will to kill you. If you reach -10, you'll become an antagonist, in which case you can attack heroes. If you become an antagonist though, everyone will hate you and know you are dangerous, so you'll become everyone's target.
The day cycle: There's a day cycle, which is not in real time. Days are divided in 3 parts and only The Master can decide when the day advances:
-Morning: In the morning, you should move around trying to know what are the events of the day.
-Afternoon: At the start of the afternoon, you will pick an objective and start working to complete that objective.
-Night: At night, things get concluded. Your objective should be completed or failed at night.
Objectives: You choose your objective. It can be in link with the events of the day, but it can also be something simple like: Don't die today/Join X guild/collect X money/Kill X people/etc.
Topics: Every player will have his own topic. You are only allowed in your own topic where you choose your actions. There is also the common topic where you go to get information on which characters are present today, get system messages, interact with other players, etc. More info will be put in the first post of each topic.
