Knight Academy

Mars finds himself wandering about the academy campus, looking around for the school itself. With the help of his map, he somehow makes his way to the school itself. The large school has multiple classrooms and a large field where sports most likely take place. Walking through the large school, Mars finds his way past multiple rooms and eventually finds the auditorium. As he enters, he's ushered to his seat by one of the teachers. Taking a seat among the flood of students, Mars can see a knight standing on the stage, addressing the new students. She speaks into the microphone calmly. "Welcome, all of you, to the Knight Academy. You've all been accepted as members of the Hero's Sun guild. Here you will be taught how to become an effective Conductor. There will be a series of important events to follow."

This speech is going on for so long...Zzzz...

Oops! It seems Mars dozed off for a bit. When he comes to, the woman seems to have finished her speech. "So to begin with, I'd like you all to start off by awakening your first Note Beast. If you would all exit in an orderly fashion to the field, you will find that the awakening ceremony will begin there. I hope to see you all there." The knight leaves at that, leading the students out to the field. There, Mars didn't notice it before, but there's a glowing, stone alter. The students are all called up one by one by the knight to receive their first Note Beasts. Mars seems to get a hang of it by the time it comes around to him. He walks up to the alter and can feel his heart pounding. It's kind of nerve wracking to do this in front of all these people. "When you are ready, Mars. Place the note on the alter and play a song with your standard issue harp." Mars gains a standard issue Harp!

Mars plays his song on the harp, starting as just him as the note on the alter bounces to the beat. Eventually, Mars can hear more than just himself playing. It's almost as if a whole orchestra is with him as he plays. The note pulsates a powerful force of life and Mars can feel the force flow through him and everything around him. It's strange that he never noticed this when the others were awakening their monsters. Could it be only he can see this? Hear this? Feel this? The song surrounds him as the rest of the world melts away. He and the note are left floating together, alone. The wind picks up as a gust of leaves surround the note. The storm of leaves from the ground cover the note entirely and grows to become larger. As the song starts to come to an end, the leaves slow down and float into the harp, seeming to be absorbed into it. Where the storm once was, now it seems a swordswoman stands. She stands with her eyes closed as her dark hair flows in the wind. As she opens her eyes, the green color seems almost unnaturally bright. She turns her gaze up to Mars. With her sword at her side, she seems a powerful warrior. She wears a kimono and wooden sandals, but despite that, moves perfectly fine. The woman moves toward Mars and smiles at him.

"Hello, Conductor. It seems I was summoned to be your first Note Beast." Her speech is formal, but she keeps a straight face, showing no emotion.

"An unusual first Note Beast..." The knight beside you seems shocked. It's then you return to the world around you as everyone stares at you and your Note Beast. "Well, you will be needing to name her. Here, this is your compendium. It is where you can keep details on the things you come across in your journeys. A paper detailing your first Note Beast's information is inside." Mars receives the compendium and information. "Well, next please." Mars stands off to the side as another student starts the awakening. Now might be a good time to fill out this info.

"That is fine. It is but a name." The woman stays close by you. It's kind of weird to be the only one here with a human Note Beast. Well, you think she's human. She LOOKS like one. As you finish filling in the information, you notice the students around you have shifted their focus toward you. Everyone's still watching you and Ayane. After a moment of uncomfortable staring, the last Note Beast is summoned and the knight speaks up.

"You all successfully completed the awakening. Congratulations." A round of applause sounds through the crowd and the woman speaks again. "Now, we will be moving on to some battle training. If you would all please head to the training grounds, I believe a few Training Dummies will be set up for you to fight." The group is moved along as usual until coming across the training grounds. Each student has their own Training Dummy set up to practice on. "Do not forget that Conductors can battle as well as your Note Beasts. Just keep in mind that if you fall in battle, so will your Note Beasts." With that the woman leaves you all to practice battling.

"Huh, I could make some adjustments here to accommodate myself..."

Mars will get the basics set; a bed, a bookshelf, a desk with some stationary. That's really all he needs... Oh, and try to get the room to feel like a cabin as much as possible.

"Thank you!" Mars says down the hall at the lady.
"Well, this looks appetizing."
Mars will take the food to his table and proceed to eat.
"...Ayana, let's talk. How are you? Do Note Beasts like you need to eat? I still need to learn about you guys... I could give you this plate of food, if you'd like."

"Well... Thanks, Ayane."
Mars will eat the plate of food then.

"...Agh, I need to get you some food too, Ayane... I'll head out and find something. For food, something always comes along."
Mars will head out and find some grub for Ayane.
