"You're correct for the most part. Sine, Cosine, and Tangent are functions we use to find angles and sides of triangles." Mars' intelligence went up slightly! The class continues on as usual and you go throughout the day until school ends. Ayane lets out a sigh of relief as classes are over and walks over to you.

"I was worried this would never end. I think I remember hearing students in your classes talking about after school clubs and sports teams taking up new members. Did you wish to partake in these mysterious events? I heard you sign up at the office." You take into account Ayane's words, but in the end it's up to you how to spend the afternoon.

Mars and Ayane head to the office and check the listings of clubs and sports. Wow, there are a lot. There's typical stuff like photography club and an acting club. You could also check out some of the sports they have. It looks like the openings are mostly in soccer, basketball, and the track team. Of course, you'll have to try out to get in. Back to the clubs, there are some more interesting ones like the Note Beast breeding club or the compendium club. What exactly are those...?

Mars decides to take up the track team. He takes one of the forms, filling it out with health information and signing some stuff. After a little paperwork, he heads out to the field to see how this whole thing works out. It seems the track team is one of the few sports teams that don't actually require you to try out and pass some sort of test. How lucky! Mars heads out to the field where the team is getting ready for the first meet of the year. The coach gives this super long and boring speech everyone zones out on. Once he finishes up, he hands everyone their new sports clothes things. Yeah, it's a Track Team Uniform. This is actually...better than your current equipment battle wise. That's sad. After the group changes out, there's a simple day of basically running around on the track today. They started simple since things are new. As you run along the track with Ayane, one of the members come running up to you. He runs alongside you with his wolf Note Beast. Both him and the wolf have white hair and light blue eyes. "Hey, you're that guy that got the girl as his Note Beast, aren't you? Is that her there? Nice to meet you both. My name's Wilrez, but most people just call me Wil. This is my Note Beast, Waru."

"So why'd you pick track team? Do you just like running or was it something else?"

"Well, I thought I'd join one of the teams because I don't really know anyone at the school. It seemed like a good way to get to know people. It seemed the easiest of all the clubs and sports. Half of those clubs didn't make any sense at all. The compendium club?"

"Like...computers?"

"Yeah, probably. They aren't that strange. Most wealthy people have them."
