In the desolate land where the sky is always dark and the land is but black, craggy rock, you find yourself escorted to the large, black castle. As you're lead through the large doors by the dark knights, you are taken to the center of a large foyer. Above you can see a chandelier containing blue flames and ahead of you, a small, elderly man with seemingly quite the temper hobbles up to you. He inspects you carefully before speaking. "You are the new recruits I see. Whatever your past was no longer matters. If you were our prisoners made slaves or if you willingly joined, I don't care. The point is we need more fire power and the great lord of conquest himself chose you. Be grateful. First off, you must undergo the trial, however. Before then, any questions?"

(you can ignore the first post.)
Three figures appear in a room with a rather old looking man talking to them. "Ehhh...? Ehhhh!? EHHHHHH!? YOU DIDN'T COMPLETE YOUR TASK!?"
"It was a valiant battle! Sword clashed against sword! Sparks were flying! The-"
"Oh, shut up, you useless thing. MERA, give me a report NOW!"
"WHAT!? I CAN'T HEAR YOU, I THINK THE SCREAMING FROM THE TRAIN ALMOST CRASHING MADE ME DEAF!"
"Quiet down, you old hag!"
"HEY! You ain't so young yourself, baldy."
"WHAT!?"
"Everyone knows your bald under that hat! Give up the act!"
"FORGET IT, THE TWO OF YOU ARE USELESS!"
"...Um...Sir, there's still me..."
"EH!? EHHHHHH!? Who are you?"
"...Oh, Zera, reporting for duty, sir. Or maybe not...you always forget I'm here..."
"Maybe he's trying to forget you're here like everyone else."
"Alright, alright, WHAT is the report!?"
"Well...Hurain had a guard with him. A new member...he had a whip and a turtle. And he was really strong...so we failed...oh...and those mercenaries we hired failed their mission too...there was another guild that fought them off..."
"WHAAAAAAAATTT!?!?!? YOU FAILED AND THE GUILDS ARE ALREADY BANDING TOGETHER!? NONONOOOOO! THIS MAKES NO SENSE! The Dark King himself said that this plan would surely work! We will need to find another way to get their altars then. If we take those away, they can no longer summon Note Beasts...eh? What's that?"
"UHHH...What's what? Heheh..."
"That thing you're hiding behind your back!"
"What!? No, give it back! It's the treasure that I, the GREAT hero found!"
"Hmm...this looks like an ancient tome. And it shows how to summon a powerful knight from the dead!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THIS GARBAGE!?"
"This is completely a real book! It will give us the advantage we need! I'll show you! Watch as I summon a powerful and EEVVVIIIILLLL knight from the past!"
"...You're a real idiot. That book is just a FAIRY TALE. IT. IS. NOT. REAL. Now get back to work, you three! ...NOW!"
"Yes, sir."
"Whatever."
"Y-yes, sir..." The old man leaves as the three shadows stay.
"Alright, now to summon that knight!"
"...But he told us not to..."
"He says a lot of things. BUT I AM THE HERO! Now let's see what we can get from this thing! Mera, use your magic to summon the knight!"
"I think you're forgetting to say please."
"What? NO! Just do it!"
"RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!"
"Fine! Please! Summon the knight!"
"Very well..." Mera begins to read the ancient incantation in the tome...you can hear her voice clearer. You no longer feel trapped and can move. Sight comes to you along with movement. It appears your body is physically present and you can move again. Things look a little blurry, but you make out the sight of three people. Or...shadows. There's one that looks like a mage, a thief, and some sort of soldier. They all are looking at you in disbelief. "WHAT THE HELL!? IT WORKED!?"
"...Wow..."
"AW YEAH! Now the boss will really notice my talents. Stand up, undead servant guy! Uh...wait, how do I control this guy?"
"YOU IDIOT! You summoned a bloodthirsty knight without knowing how to control him!? AGH!" These three shadows seem to argue a lot. You have no idea where you are or what is happening. You do feel your power returning to you though. It seems the choices here are either to obey or resist these shadows. The room appears to be a large hallway. There are tall pillars on the sides and two doorways. One clearly leads to an important room while the other is likely going toward the exit. The whole room is like by torches on the pillars to keep the room somewhat dark.

Oblivion moves on, opening the large doors to the next room. There he sees the shadows and someone sitting on a throne. The room is lit by ominously blue torches. "There's a guy in the castle trying to kill everyone! He even beat us..."
"Oh no...he's here."
"DO SOMETHING ALREADY!"
"...Heh." The mysterious man on the throne starts to move as his armor glows blue as well and he stands, walking toward you. "Oblivion, a powerful knight. Not quite as powerful as you think you are though. I think I know what it is you want. But let's make this interesting. What do you say to a little gamble? If I win our fight, you will fight under my army's command. If I lose, you win my soul. Sound good?"

Despite trying your hardest, you somehow failed. But not all is lost. "For a banished knight, your skills aren't that rusty, Commander." Syak reaches out his hand to you to help you up. "You'll make a powerful ally. I'm sure with your help, we can stop them." Do you accept this offer or will you try to escape in your weakened state?

Accepting defeat, you take on the sentence. You now will work for Syak and his army. "Alright then. As Commander, your first duty is to get yourself a Note Beast and train it. Here, we have some spare Notes lying around." Syak gives you the Fire Note. "Place it on the Altar in the back room behind the throne and play a song. Here, take this instrument." Syak hands you the Dark Guitar. "Now go get your Note Beast and report back here for your next mission." Nearby is a mysterious, glowing altar. It is reacting with the Note you hold. Maybe if you place it on and play a song, a Note Beast will be born.

Oblivion Places the note on the alter. he then takes a nearby flute and is somehow playing a song. he remembered this song as it is the one that turned him to the dark side. simply called "Fatal lullaby"

This? Was it something you came up with on your own or can I get some sort of link? Depending on what the song sounds like, it will affect what Note Beast you get.

Playing the song, it starts off as a solo with just your instrument. Then...the song starts to pick up with sound coming from an unknown source. It seems as if only you and the note are there. A blue fire envelopes the note and things intensify. Finally, the song starts to slow. The fire releases something and dispels. The song calms until it ends. In the place of where your Note used to be, there is now a cloaked creature, which you cannot see, floating in place. demon wings made of blue fire are seen on the back and the tattered robe reveals nothing of the creature inside. It carries with it a scythe. The lost reaper speaks no words and carries a sad air about it. This is your new Note Beast. Train it well.
Reaper-S Level: 1 Score: 1 Element: Darkness Skills: S-Wave, S-Slash
(S-Wave is a Darkness element ranged attack that fires a wave of souls. it hits multiple targets. S-Slash is a darkness Element Melee attack. it deals damage to a single target)

You return to report to Syak with Reaper-S. "Looks like you got a more mysterious one. Not bad. For your first mission, I want you to train that thing. The Volcanic Path near here is good for that kind of stuff. Get it to around level ten and come back here. Then we can get to some real commander work." Syak leaves you to your job as he goes over a war plan with the strange bear Note Beast he has.
