Malefio dashes of into the Notewood Forest in the cool night air. The many trees stand tall with the pattern of music notes in their bark. That must be why this place is called Notewood Forest. As Malefio continues onward, stepping on the grass below and shuffling through the plants, he hears a howl nearby. That was from a Forest Fang, no doubt! Before he can run toward it, he trips over a mysterious plant! The unknown flower appears to use vines as its main source of attack. This mysterious, white flower with the vines tangles itself around Malefio and seems ready to fight! Before the plant can get a first strike, Frazga bites the vines, causing it to release Malefio! It looks like this mission will be harder than you thought.

You follow the pair into the woods, watching from behind a bush as a girl blasts fire at a nearby Tanglerose and eats it! Whoa, she must be desperately hungry. You stare in awe as she eats up quickly. It's then you hear some sort of alarm or something. A strange voice yells out in words you cannot comprehend. As you look over, the sound seems to be coming from a shadowy creature with a large, purple eye. It's staring at you and the woman takes notice!

The girl looks towards Malefio:  : "I don't care about you and I don't care about your life. If you hinder my goal, I will have to kill you." Malefio comes out of the bush, peacefully. Malefio: "Hey there, do you mind me writing about your creature?" (So... do I keep interacting with myself or...) |

(Yep...pretty much. Until something happens in which I have to intervene or something. Feel free to write in what your monsters are doing as well. I may type some things for them at times, but I want Note Beasts to feel like they're part of the player as well.)

: "Why would I care for a pile of bones? I don't have any time for an interview." The blue-haired girl continues deeper in the forest. Her shadow creature looks at Frazga for a while, before following what seems to be it's conductor. Frazga seems a bit scared, but mostly curious. Malefio shrugs and follows the girl. Malefio: "Well... I'll just watch by myself then..." The woman ignores him. She doesn't seem to care being followed. |

Both you and Frazga move off in the direction Frazga points out as the strange atmosphere dies away. Frazga continues directing you, but looks up in the sky as clouds start to gather...it might rain soon. You both come upon a few houses. They look fairly new. Is this a small village? A forge is nearby and there are three housing buildings. One of these seems fairly larger, containing a second floor...

Your team heads out into the forest, taking the eastern path from the base camp. Lawrence waves as you all set off. He's likely keeping watch of the base until Hurain gets back. Anyway, you all continue along as Gerand looks around at the plants, keeping a look out for Tanglerose. Since all players have fully explored the Notewood Forest, you can activate fast travel to skip to the fields and avoid any battles, would you like to do that?
