Challenge Tower

Well now Gates of Bowser..... I mean challenge tower.

It looks like you guys are doing fine (except getting poor Knuckle Joe eaten in the lobby. He could probably pass off as a Pokemon and a fighting type at that) but well looks like you could use a little help. Or more properly a little divine intervention Yoshi Yoshi.

Well I may not be about using individual characters in this type of game I can kinda of give a basic idea of what we could do. (Like when the police were going to be called in the beginning. Could have just played it off as part of your performance and the stupid knight threw the wrong potion B/C only PK knows he has explosivepotion)

If the others want to fine tune the idea then we can build from there. In terms of type of player I am. I would say I like to play it safe like Fuzzy but I do like to take calculated gambles.

By the way Just are the Unown going to be making an appearance B/C if Fuzzy loves one thing more then Black Laterens its the Unown and the power of words?

Anyways does our Metapod know Grass whistle? If it does put that whale to sleep

Wailmer leaps up high in the air unexpectedly! As it flies up high in the air, Metapod starts to play this song, using some nearby tall grass.



The Wailmer starts to fall asleep midair and comes crashing down from the sky! Luckily for Metapod, it falls right next to it instead of on top of it. If it fell asleep just a second later, Metapod would be a bug pancake. "Hey! Wailmer! Stop sleeping around! Get up! We have to fight and win! Come on!" This might be a good time to switch Pokemon or land a strong attack...

(Wow, that's actually really creative and effective!)

Metapod uses String Shot to create a slingshot using the only tree available on the island. It then jumps on in and pulls itself as far back as possible before releasing, hardening itself all the way up and all the way down until SMASH! Like an iron ball dropped from the sky, Metapod lands on the Wailmer for a one hit KO! "WHAAAAAATTT!? No way! You guys must be professional trainers or something! How did you beat me in one hit! My strongest Pokemon!" As Ruto stands there in disbelief, Metapod is...glowing! From its back sprouts wings as a beautiful Butterfree flies out! Butterfree is so happy, it starts to fly all over the gym! It's really grateful for your effort in training it! Finally, it seems Ruto has somewhat accepted defeat. "Rrr...fine, here you go. This is Nayru's Stone. Don't lose it. And, here's this. It's the HM Dive. I didn't get to use it since you beat my Pokemon so fast though...just don't fail the gym or I'll look like MORE of a loser. Oh, and if you could, put in a good word for me with Link, okay?" Ruto waves as you all leave, headed to the final spot. As you walk into the volcano area, you notice this part of the gym has a floor made entirely of lava underneath the stone battle platform! Watch your step. An old man with gray, spiky hair greets you as you enter. "Welcome to the fire section, brother! Are you ready to battle?" His clothes look like they're made from rocks! Of course, that's just for aesthetic. They're real clothes. "My name's Darunia, but that's not important! Let's get right to battling!" Darunia tosses out a Pokeball and out comes a Numel! You better get ready for battle!

Remoraid uses water gun right as it's coming out of the ball for a surprise attack with 4x effectiveness.

I'll bet his plan requires us being on the ground or low to it. Therefore, Remoraid channels it's inner Kirby and rockets into the air with a water gun, moving into position once it reaches a good height so that the water is being sprayed straight down on Magcargo to keep us in the air while damaging it.

Let's look at our options.
A: We send out Rattata. While it would normally be able to at least try to outmaneuver its enemies, whatever move Magcargo used (I'm guessing Overheat?) isn't exactly the kind of thing it could get out of the way of, so it would get completely owned.
B: We send out Butterfree. I don't think I need to even explain why this is a bad idea.
C: we send out Grimer. If it knows Disable we can tip the odds in our favor by preventing it from using that move again, but if not it might be able to either quickly take out Magcargo, withstand the attack (If it's Overheat it shouldn't do as much damage this time, although it was also resisted last time), or it could at least do some good damage before getting knocked out and letting the others cherry tap it. My vote is for Grimer, but I also want to know if it has Disable and what the others think.
