Yeah, I wasn't expecting it this soon either. I was expecting the game to last about as long as GoBC, which was about 40-50 topics IIRC. If I had known it was gonna be reaching the endgame this soon, I probably wouldn't have brought in another set of characters.
On another note, I'm gonna be kind of sad to see the Gates trilogy end. The first game was what got me to make an account on GameFAQs, and without GameFAQs I never would have gotten into RPs and met all of you guys.

Yeah I am going to miss Gates. Umm Just can't you convince mr Punk to continue it somehow.....
Gates of Bowser was the reason I signed up for Gamefaqs. I met a whole bunch of cool guys over here and at Vitcon its going to be sad to see Gates over....

By the way Fuzz Just can you help me out. I wanted to take a couple of days off of Gates to catch up on other stuff and I was feeling a little burnt out with everything and just needed to take a break.
Decided to check out the topic to see what was going on and got hit with all of that stuff ummm can somebody tell me what's going on please Pika please.

Convince Uncle Punk to prolong it? I don't think so. The end to something is an important part and it will be every bit as amazing as we all hope it to be. Even if it is sad to see it all end, it's nice to know that you finally did it. You beat the major plot arc. Victory is always sad and happy like that. When you win, it's great to be victorious, but you always do find yourself wishing it wasn't over just yet. I can't make Uncle Punk do anything. He's his own person. It's not up to me what he does whether that's end it for good, make a sequel, or make the game a little longer.

Oh btw GoBC was only 20 or so threads, it just went mad fast because I was able to bang posts out, and focus on one particular narrative line instead of having to do shorter responses for individual players. I know you guys probably like Cemetery better for the additional freedom and self-driven thing. I definitely think, looking back, GoBC was a much tighter, cleaner game, and I definitely was able to write longer, more descriptive and narrative style posts. After this is done (there's still a decent amount of time since people are literally just beginning preparations, and everyone needs time to get used to their new teammates), I dunno. I might take a break (possibly shorter than GoH), let my creative juices regenerate after I implement the ultimate clusterf***, give texan a chance to host that game he mentioned a while back, and possibly come back with a new game. It would definitely be more narrative driven, even if it was individual player based. And it wouldn't be a sequel, since I would feel pressure to hold back here, or up the ante in a sequel. Going past trilogies rarely works well.
Then again, you guys could all be satisfied after this, and I wouldn't blame you at all.
