Your Baby Chocobo is sadly too small for you to ride. (I searched through baby chocobos a bit and it seemed for the most part they were pretty small.) You can try to use Rush Jet to cross, but...if you can't reach the other side and fall...it looks almost like a bottomless pit down there. King Boo decides to float across, ignoring the clouds. A bolt of electricity zaps him and repels him from proceeding from one of the black electrified clouds. Malefio decides to experiment with the clouds, moving the white cloud and thunder cloud together. The thunder cloud releases electricity around it as the white cloud disappears. Malefio then brings over one of the gray clouds with his magic, freezing it before standing on it. As he stands, however, he notices the cloud unfreezes very quickly. Somehow he can still stand on it though. It must be safe to walk on gray clouds.

Mr. Fuzz sends the Baby Chocobo over to the nearest white cloud not blocked by a storm cloud and has it land on the cloud. If it falls through it can fly, so that shouldn't be a cause for concern.

What we need is something to get rid of these thundercloud...
Or something that would attract the lightning so it doesn't hit us.

The Baby Chocobo flies out and lands on one of the white clouds before it disappears underneath it, dispersing into the air. The Baby Chocobo flies back over to the safe ledge you're all standing on before you test out more cloud experiments. Moving two black clouds together makes them spark violently before flying away from each other. It seems their electrical energies repel one another. Putting the gray cloud with a black cloud makes the electricity spread to the gray cloud and the two both become black clouds, charged with electricity. Putting a gray and white cloud together makes the gray cloud absorb the white cloud and become larger.

"Alright then, I've got an idea. Move the white clouds into the gray ones and line them up into a bridge like you said before, and move the black clouds over to the left and right edges of the room without getting them too close together. Any objections?"

The white and gray clouds are brought together to create a pathway over the gap while the black clouds are pushed to the side and collected by King Boo. After crossing, the clouds disappear. There's no turning back now. Entering the next room, it's a large, empty area with a simple, yellow Crystal on a pedestal in the center.
