Mrfuzz turns and looks at Ifrit and Shiva.
"Alright guys, I need you to find them and provide backup if they need it."
Ifrit and Shiva stand at a safe distance from everyone, power up with Rage, and then rush into town searching for Kitty and Joel.

"..." Kitty is still tense and ready to avoid attacks.
"It is unlikely that attack defeated him." Joel stands in a position, ready to grab whatever attack comes his way and throw it back. Remember, Joel may not be huge, but he is very strong.

Joel gets ready for an attack to swing back, but is surprised by a big giant tornado. Joel, Ratata and Goombario are thrown away by the tornado, separating them from Kitty. Joel doesn't feel like he took any damage.
Kitty avoiding the tornado by jumping out of the way. Popple comes out of the walls broken by Joel.
Popple: "Easier to take you one by one isn't it?"
Popple walks casually towards Kitty.
Ifrit and Shiva spot the giant darkness tornado and head to it's location after powering up with rage.

"*hiss*" Kitty switches to the Drunk class and tosses beer bottles at Popple while dodging attacks with dizzy, staggering steps. (Kinda like a Spinda)
"Overdrive Mode activated." Joel rapid fires lasers at Popple from a distance while overdrive activates.

While Joel is keeping Popple busy with lasers, Shiva will catch Popple by surprise with Diamond Dust. If Popple is still standing after the barrage of lasers big and small, Ifrit will try something interesting and use Perdition Hammer at an angle, leaping through the air to land on Popple and send the fire AoE all at an angle away from Kitty and Joel.

Popple tries to tackle Kitty who avoids the attack, while Joel starts shooting lasers at a distance.
Popple: "Pff... LAME!"
Popple raises his hand in the air, avoiding the beer bottles with insane agility, as all laser are redirected on his hand and absorbed in some kind of red orb. Shiva comes from behind and uses Diamond Dust, but it's also absorbed into the orb.
Ifrit, unnoticed jjumps in the air and spots Popple.
Popple: "What?"
Ifrit hits Popple directly, punching him into a crater. As things clam down, Popple raises up, seemingly dizzy.
Popple: "Huh... Yeah... Gonna do that... Oof..."
Spider-like shadowy legs comes out of people as well as giant hands. The hands immobilizes Ifrit as Popple runs away on the rooftops with him in his grasp.
Goombario chases Popple.

Shiva chases Popple, causing Blizzagas to erupt out of the ground below him.

"Assault Mode activated." Joel shifts his body to a more aerodynamic form before jets propel him toward Popple at fast speeds.
"MEOW!" Kitty shifts to the Spell Fencer class and jumps onto Joel to ride him. She uses her Brave ability four times to act four times in a row. She fuses Death into Joel's weapons and then increases the power of the enchantment begore casting Reraise on Joel. To finish up, Kitty backflips off of Joel and launches a Moonbeam at Popple. It's like a powerful and explosive laser launched from your hands. Kinda like the Dragon Ball stuff with the energy blasts and stuff.
Now all attacks will increase in damage output. Joel will attach himself to Popple and with increased damage and a chance to instant kill, self destruct and explode on him! Once Joel has exploded, the fire from the explosion can heal Ifrit while Reraise will activate and Joel will be revived.

Before anyone can understand anything, Kitty starts playing music again, Joel is launched at Popple and there is a huge explosion.
Shiva comes in the aftermath to find Ifrit liberated.
In the smoke, a figure speaks:
Popple: "Huh? Where am I? Why do I have a headbonk block?"

"Meow." Kitty bats at Popple with her paw.
"The entity controlling him is no longer detected. Performing scan..." Joel scans the area for the virus that was expelled from Popple.

Shiva and Ifrit look around. That's one threat neutralized, but Druddigon may be nearby...

Joel scans for life forms.
He detects three individuals, one of them as the exact same life signature Popple had.
Popple: "Entity controlling me? Impossible! I am the Shadow Thief!!!"
Goombario: "Can I have my attack back please?"
Popple: "Hmm... I would usually keep it, but Headbonk is useless!"
Popple gives the block back to Goombario.
