ok yea after looking it up. yea Snivy is based on an Extinct Variant of the Vine Snake while its evolutions are based on both the same snake and french royalty...hmm maybe snivy should have been a gen 6 pokemon

Not really a rumor but a localization issue that was leaked
Pikachu was originally translated as 比卡超 (Bei-kaa-chyu) in Hong Kong. Now it is named 皮卡丘 (Pikaqiu). While the name 皮卡丘 in Mandarin sounds similar to the global name Pikachu (as it was always called in China and Taiwan), it reads as Pei-kaa-jau in Cantonese, which doesn’t sound the same at all

My guess is that it's also goin to take the Proffessor's place as being he one that tells us we can't ride our bike indoors.
On another note, I still don't get Solgaleo's typing. Not only is it not a fire type, it's weak to them.

The Steel type is based on the fact that the sun is 0.5% Metal and other random things Psychic because of the Celestial thing The moon legendary has a x4 Weakness to Dark and a x4 weakness to ghost |

So which starters is everyone looking to get in moon or sun?
For me its tough one between The grass owl or The Sea Lion. Hmmm i will probably end up going with the Water Pokemon.

As for what placements on the tier list of the legendaries. I think both will be in OU teir or the OU ban list(not good enough to be in Ubers but too strong for OU) due to the weaknesses of both legendarys.
Sun legend is weak to fire, ground, ghost, dark (all of which are very common offensive types in The metagame)
While moon legend has a x4 weakness to Ghost and Dark (again common offensive types)
