(I'm not even sure I'm gonna get the game... Usually my brother buys both, he plays one, I play the other, then when I'm done he plays both...
He's moving away in september though and while I enjoy Pokemon, I never ever bought a Pokemon game myself...
If I play, I'm definitely picking Rowlet though.)

So. I think sun and moon are going to be heavily based on Two things.
1. Light and Dark
2. Alchemy (thanks to some friends of mine. We found that solgaleo's type is based on alchemy. The lion and the sun together is the alchematic symbol for metal)

First up is Tapu koko.  it is an Electric/Fairy type with a new ability called 'Elec Maker' it Activates Electric Terrain when being sent out Next is Charjabug. Grubbin's Second Evolution.  it is a Bug/electric type next is Charjabug's next evolution and Grubbin's Final evolution we have Vikavolt.  it looks like something from monster hunter. we have a Very derpy Dragon type Drampa.  a Normal/Dragon type with a new ability called 'Frenzy' it Increases Special Attack when activated. we dont know how it will be Activated Next is a VERY derpy Fish Bruxish.  a Water/Psychic type with a new ability called 'Dazzle' which prevents it from being hit by Priority moves (such as Quick attack, Fake out, Sucker punch, Ect) Here we get Cutiefly.  a Bug/Fairy type. it looks adorable Finally we have our pikachu clone Togedemaru.  a Electric/Steel type. it has lightning rod for its ability |

It's just so abstract...
No matter how many time I research it, no matter how many time I'm told the matchups, I can never remember them, because Fairy doesn't make sense as a type.

Dazzle looks like a VERY competitive ability. in a meta game where Priority moves are common. we needed a Ability that stops them
