I've been thinking about bit, and I still enjoy War Game Rokeplays quite a bit, but no one seems to stay interested.
I'm looking for input on how to make them more enjoyable, I've thought about implementing maps, fog of war, espionage units, and actual troop movement based on weather conditions, but I'm still not sure what would make them more enjoyable, any input?

Make it less mandatory to update. Having something to update every day that you could get behind on with no way of getting ahead is difficult.

It was never mandatory to update everyday in the beginning. The only times that you were required to update was before entering combat.
I guess it doesn't seem that way.
How would you suggest also I do that?

It's the reinforcements and logs. If you don't update daily to keep track of the new units, it's hard to catch up.

I can't think of any other way to remedy that, other than changing it to weekly updates, or requiring you recruit soldiers in projects,

I think that's likely the problem. I also remember moderating battles being rediculous because the plans would have to account for EVERYTHING, but I think you had some kind of system for that.

Longer updating periods will probably remedy both problems. It's to but no one else gave me any feedback. I was looking for more input.
